Update review 2/7/2020: I have been using Loop 494 for a while now and I absolutely love my Dr.s (Dr.Bobby, Dr.Muller and Dr.Smith) I also love some of the Techs/front counter staff. Mrs.Melissa is my absolute favorite, from the first time I met her I just knew she was an amazing animal person, Amber is really sweet too! However lately I have been having an issue with the staff up front. The first lady I have gotten a slight attitude from was Beth, she never is really pleasant, which is ok. The last dealing I had with her was when I called in about my baby Boston falling and not being able to use one of his legs. She told me that they could not see me until after 3 and when I asked could I just come sit and wait earlier because I was worried she said no. Fast forward about 20 min and my Boston couldn’t use two legs and I was really worried so I took him in anyways, when I got there she acted like it was a problem. I was freaking out because my Boston is my baby and he has never really had any issues until this point and I knew something was wrong and her attitude didn’t help much at all! Fast forward a week and a half, after getting my baby back form Texas A&M due to a spinal stroke, I called to see if Loop 494 had gotten a prescription that A&M was going to send over. Desire answered the phone and when I explained to her she told me that A&M should be filling the prescription, which is a two hour drive for me one way. I told her no that Dr.Bobby is who he normally sees and that he knows the situation and I needed to see if they got it because he doesn’t have enough to make it through the weekend. She had an attitude when I told her I needed to talk to Dr.Bobby, she put me on hold, came back and said she talked to Dr.Smith and they don’t carry the liquid form of the med he needs so they would have to order it. Ok no problem, but I still need to know what to do about the weekend, so again I asked to speak to Dr.Bobby or Dr.Smith to see if he could have the pill form until I could get him the liquid next week when I got to A&M for his therapy, again she had an attitude and said they don’t have the liquid, which I wasn’t even worried about at the moment, but said she would give Dr.Bobby the message. Honestly I truly love Loop 494 and about 90% of the staff, however the attitude from the rest of the staff is very unnecessary, especially the way they talk about clients when they get off the phone even if they have people in the lobby. Take out the few bad apples and Loop 494 would be the perfect place to go. All in all they are definitely the best around, just excuse the few people and you will be glad you went there! I would give 5 stars if it weren’t for the attitudes with some of the front counter staff. Updated review: I have now been using them for months and I honestly can’t say enough good things about them! I absolutely love all the Drs and Mrs.Melissa, at the front desk, is the absolute BEST! I am very very picky about my furr babies, they are my kids, and I fully trust this team to provide the care and treatment that is needed. I have used many other vets in the area and was not pleased, then I found Loop 494 and refuse to go anywhere else. Thank you guys for ALL y’all do for everyone and their babies!! Old review: I love this place!! My pup got a swollen eye on Thursday night and her normal vet couldn't see her until Saturday, I called Loop 494 and they got her in Friday. They treated us like we had been coming there for years, they were so friendly and helpful! You can tell they truly care!! The front desk staff is so amazing, they interact with the animals and get to know everyone personally! I will definitely be using them from now on!!

I had a good experience with this vet in 2018, moved away and came back to visit family, and my three legged dog needed a nail trim. I advised the facility in advance he only had three legs and was uncomfortable with being handled by strangers and wiggly, they seemed confident and I decided to take my dog as I previously had a good experience and often hear good things about the compassion of the staff. When they brought my dog back out to me they didn't even mention they had cut the quick on SEVERAL nails. We only noticed when he bled all over the back seat. His front paw, the only paw he has on the front, had two nails cut negligently short. The rest of the nails are very inconsistent in length. He hardly wants to put any pressure on his front paw, which is unfortunately impossible for him as it's his only front paw. I wouldn't have been as furious or disappointed if they had taken the initiative that every other vet who has nicked the quick did and at least warned me, but instead they let me find out on my own by noticing blood smeared all over the back seat of my car. A tech did come out to try and stop the bleeding a second time, as the told me they "made sure he wasn't bleeding anymore" inside. It wasn't successful as he bled twice more (we tried to stop the bleeding ourselves with first aid clotting styptic powder) on the way and at home just during regular walking around the house and not excited so his blood pressure wasn't high. I believe I should have been told beforehand that he was bleeding at all. Especially considering he only has three legs so the front paw is even more vital to him. I'm sad to leave this review as I previously recommended this vet to several people. I felt this could have been handled much better, or if they weren't equipped to trim the nails of a tripawd who wiggles during handling I wish they would have told me instead of mangling his nails on the only front paw he has left and a back nail as well. I would have respected that much more than trying to sneak an injured dog home without warning. My parents had our family cat euthanized here when she no longer had an the ability to live happily at the age of 18 and they had a wonderful experience with a very compassionate vet. I wish I could've said the same, please reconsider your policy on informing clients of any injury incurred during a visit, it would have greatly impacted my interpretation of this event and I wouldn't have left this review if you had informed me or at least apologized for the numerous nicked quicks. Also please consider retraining your staff on where it is appropriate to trim on a nail. He has always had his nails trimmed at a vet and I have never received him back in such a condition.

I been taking my cats here for the last 3 years and of course as a local I like to support my local business. The reason why local shops disappear from the world of business is not only for the power that big corporations have over certain markets but because our local shops get greedy and over book clients just like regular doctors offices and of course airlines do. My point is that we seek out to this professionals out of love and concern for our beloved pets and we want the best for them despite the fact that it may take out $200 or even more at times out of our pockets to care for them. I know that times are tough with Covid-19 and all but if your client has to wait at least 20 minutes over their schedule time, please let them know, it is just a polite thing to do. Then when I said I needed to re-schedule because I could not make it the next day, I felt that my cat was being punished due to the lack of flexibility on the vets part. Mind you I already waited 2 weeks for this appointment and over and hour and a half on the day of the appointment in the parking lot before I decided to go in and check about my time. She replied that the only day she had available was going to be "ANOTHER 2 WEEKS" Again I am still willing to give my local business another chance but I am talking about my cats health here, she is not another client number she is my cat damn it and she deserves kindness and loving respect just the same way I do it when I reach into my wallet to pay for the services rendered, even when I am not happy about it...This Time Loop 494 does not even a 1 star although I had to give 1 since the system does not have a 0 star on the review...When local business get too personal with the clients, the respect and reliability disappears from the service and that my friend is when the doomsday of the business is in the horizon.... Ps all she needed was a rabies shot....Truly Yours. "you only get one more shot client"

I have taken my exotic pets here for the last 3 years and have usually seen Dr. Bobby, however I have seen Dr. Dori as well. I have always been pleased with the service from the front counter and from the vet. Recently one of my pets was fighting for his life, with heart failure. This caused me to see the vet often and have a ton of questions for them. Dr. Bobby was so understanding through this process and went above and beyond to ensure I had no question left unanswered and I was sure about the next steps for my pet. He even called to check on me before the weekend to make sure I didnt need anything for my little guy. When I called the front desk many times, they were always understanding and never made me feel bad for having another question. When it came time to end my pets fight, Bobby and the vet tech (I am unsure her name but a lovely lady with red hair) were so very sweet and understanding, as was the front desk who allowed me to pay ahead of time and sit in my car with my pet until it was my turn to go back. This was a horrible day for me and everyone did everything they could to make it just a little easier, in any way they could. Seeing this compassion and not only love for animals, but care and concern for the humans, it put me in awe. I have been to some vets where all they see is $ and for any question you have, its an office visit charge and any hard decisions you are met with coldness and no help. Not Loop 494! After everything, I decided to move my two dogs and cat from their previous vet to here. My dog just had her first appointment this week and again Dr. Bobby was amazing. Plus it doesn't hurt that their rates are better than half the vets in the area!

I’ve been coming here for years & will continue to use this clinic. Just not Dr Dori. I brought my boxer in for an emergency visit yesterday. He was in a lot of pain & was diagnosed with pancreatitis. I had a muzzle on him because he’s a protective dog & doesn’t particularly like having a thermometer up the butt so i keep a muzzle on him at the vet. The Dr says well he needs hospitalization but he’s so aggressive so we can’t hospitalize him. I was stunned. He wasn’t acting aggressive at all. He didn’t growl once in the waiting room with strange dogs & people coming close to him. I actually thought she was implying to put him to sleep. He was scared. I was scared. I asked her for alternative treatments & she acted as if there were none. I told her he’s had pancreatitis before & he was treated at home. I HAD TO TELL HER that we could manage it at home. She put about $100 worth of science diet food on the counter for me to buy with no explanation to NOT feed him that day. She gave NO instructions to me. She didn’t offer to give him subcutaneous fluids. She didn’t like my dog & didn’t give us good treatment. I paid almost $500, but had to go home & google what to do to treat my dog. I was sent home with NO INSTRUCTIONS. He’s doing fine now thank goodness. I’ve seen every other vet at this clinic & they’ve been wonderful & sweet & kind to my old boy & me. So I’ll come back, but not to Dr Dori. I’ve recommended this vet clinic to dozens of people & will continue to do so. Oh and the front office staff is fantastic as well. They’re very caring.

I am new to the area and took my pup here on 12/8/22 after I was a given a recommendation for this vet. The visit was for a routine annual visit, including an exam, shots, and testing. My pup was given ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention. On 12/27/22 I received a call from the vet at 7:15pm informing me that my dogs test results "got lost on his desk" and that he was sorry for the delayed response but my dog is positive for heartworms. He then discussed my treatment options and had his staff send me a quote the next day. I was out of town at the time for the holidays and planned on handling this as soon as we got back in town. After doing research it is my understanding that it can be harmful to give a heartworm positive dog heartworm prevention as the prevention will kill microfilarie in the bloodstream and can cause shock to the dogs body. After getting back in town on 1/5/23 I called the office asking to have the vet call me for clarification on some questions I had about moving forward with treatment because of the prevention that was given before test results were concluded. The woman I spoke to on the phone said she would pass the message onto him and he would call me after clinic was done that day. The call never came and it is now 2 days later. I was already upset about being given delayed results and I wanted to give benefit of the doubt because I do understand mistakes happen but after not getting a phone call back I am done with this clinic.

My wife and I became new customers of theirs one year ago. We brought our three dogs in for vaccinations and exams, and we thought they were pretty affordable. Long story short, I am not sure they ever made a file for us. When Costco called them for our file so we could buy heart worm medication through Costco, they told Costco they didn't have our file. So we called the vet and they told us they have our file and to just come to them for the medication. I went down there for the medication, and they told me they lost our file on their computer due to Hurricane Harvey, but they still have our physical file. That is when we became suspicious of them. Now we are calling to make an appointment for our three dogs to have their annual vaccinations, and they told me they don't have a file on us. I told them they should have a physical file, but she told me they don't because they never made a physical file for us and they lost our file on their computer because they were hacked and refused to pay the ransom. She told me they lost a lot of their customers files and information. Unbelievable! First Harvey, now hackers? really? They did not even apologize. I wouldn't recommend this place if their services were free. And they have raised their prices recently, so why go to them when you can get much, much better service from other veterinarians for the same if not cheaper prices?

I can't praise this clinic enough, particularly Dr. Mary Salgado. The vet I loved and trusted retired not long before my boy fell ill with cancer. Dr. Mary gained my faith in such a short amount of time. She cared for my boy like she'd been the only one to ever care for him. When I finally had to let him go, she hugged me tightly and let me know just how much she understood my loss. There's more to this story, but the point I want to make is that she and this clinic care a great deal about the animals and what they mean to their humans. I so desperately needed this compassion and was blessed to receive it here. I don't have personal experience with the other doctors, but I'm sure they're as wonderful as Dr. Mary is. There's a positive energy that permeates the whole establishment. If you're wondering about this clinic and whether it's a good place to bring your fur babies - don't. Bring them here. You won't regret it.

I chose this clinic in an emergency when my regular vet was unavailable to see my ailing furbaby. They were compassionate and treated our case as an urgent one from the get-go. The wait was minimal to see a vet and they were precise when they told me the amount of time it would take for me to get some answers. The great thing about this animal clinic is that they had never seen me in my life and did not know my sweet cat, but they sure treated us like we were a part of their family. The vet answered all of my questions and when I called back she got on the phone with no wait time to answer additional concerns of mine. When we had to return for the final time, the entire staff was courteous, respectful, and empathetic. The awfulness of this day was made a little bit easier by the kindness and care of the employees and veterinarians and I am so thankful.

I had friends recommend this place, I called and made an appointment for our new kitty to have shots and was told 10:30, the day before the appointment I called since no one had called to verify, I was told it was for 10:45 we got there about 10:25 and there was about three people waiting. after about an hour my husband was getting upset, no one said a word why the wait or it would be soon. about 12:30 they call us. we waited two hours. never again! over booked and I guess the only vet on duty? then don't book so many people. I use Westbury animal hospital off post oak, long way to go but never had that experience there and the doc's are great! 24/7 care. I would just beware of the long wait time at 494 animal hospital. we wouldn't waited but it was the kitty's first vet visit and he was already stressed. Best of luck!

Veterinarian Dr Mary overdosed a small kitten with dewormer ; Even though admitting that the animal was healthy and didn't necessarily need the dewormer, but she OD the cat which is now in the emergency veterinary hospital because Dr Dory which is the owner of this facility did not decide to make room for the mess at the they made. This is completely unprofessional and absurd to have a mess up but then not fix it or correct it or take in the animal for an IV fluid You do not tell me you don't have room for a walk in on an overdose that you caused. If I was you I would stay far away from this facility ; it looks like Texas really needs some help with their veterinary medicine here. If I can't trust you with an animal then I'm going to make sure other people know this story. Animals deserve better treatment.

My dog has been here for multiple surgeries and loves them so much. He is excited to get in the car and go see his friends again! The entire staff has been nothing but helpful and friendly. I've had to call early in the morning and they always promptly answer. The reason I chose to use them however is because my cat had been stung by a wasp. We were new to the area and I called with a question for the vet. She called me back that day with answers and followup questions - no concern about us not being a formal patient. My dog's doc is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He always makes sure to take time to discuss the visit with me and answer all my questions without making it feel rushed. In short, all you need to know is that my dog happy dances when the staff bring him inside!

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this place is and the staff are. We had to make a hard decision for our family and put our family cat of 18 years down. In the past when we had to put down a pet (during covid and at a different clinic) we were met with hostility, guilt tripping, and no empathy during an emotional time. But not Loop 494. Not only were they sensitive to this difficult time, they explained everything calmly and sweetly. They gave us all the time that we needed. They were understanding and caring. They even sent us a letter of sympathy. Words truly cannot express how wonderful this place is. Thank you to all the staff and the wonderful doctor who not only handled our girl Mia so wonderfully, but us as well.

I have used 494 for 36 years. I used them before Dr. Mueller bought the place. They have been around forever and are worth it. Dr. Mueller is awesome with cats and has had to break the news to me that my 18year old Manx had cancer.( another place thought it was just a growth) He and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help you in any matter concerning your "fur family". Monday's are extremely busy and sometimes the front staff gets overwhelmed with clients, phone calls and computers that are slow, but you will never find a more helpful and friendly staff of folks.

We recently switched to Loop 494 Animal Hospital after our vet retired. We have so far been very pleased with our experience. Our dogs have seen two different vets at this location and both were kind, caring and patient. The prices for service are reasonable and the staff seems willing to take their time and ensure appropriate care. They do seem to be overbooked sometimes and the wait can be long which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. We believe that the trade-off for the excellent care is worth it and will continue to use their services for the foreseeable future.

I absolutely love this vet! My old vet in another town was so overpriced that the first time I went to Loop 494 Animal Hospital, I was utterly shocked when they told me the price for what was not a short visit with my cat. Their prices are so reasonable! Additionally, the entire staff is amazing. There is usually a wait time, but I know that's because they give their undivided attention to every patient, so I know my wait time means someone else is getting the same exemplary service I'm getting. They are also super helpful over the phone for quick questions and concerns!

Great place to take your pets and they even take hedgehogs they do things by appointment but don’t be afraid to call and see if they can double book you like they did with me. They really helped put me and my wife at ease with everything and they have a great payment plan to which they are very straightforward with and both the other clients and staff are super nice and collected. They took really good care of our little Mabel, going to have to go back for a check up. Most likely this is going to be the place I start going to from now on it really was a great experience

I've been bringing my fur-babies here for over 10 years now, and am relatively happy with the overall experience- service, price, and knowledge. (But if you're wanting to see the same vet each visit, make sure to specifically request them every time you schedule an appointment). The staff are all nice, knowledgeable, and forthright when elicited. And [at least] a couple of the main doctors seem to stay on top of current veterinary standards and practices. They also have major experience with "exotic" small animals like ferrets... One of the vets even owns a few!

Wanted to say a huge thank you to Dr. Catherine Smith and the staff at Loop 494 Animal Hospital for helping Doc and Evie get their health certificates for international travel late 2021. They came in clutch and knew very well what they were doing (the same could not be said about 5 other animal hospitals I visited previously in Dallas and Houston). The travel would not be possible without their help and we're grateful for their professionalism and sense of responsibility. TL; DR This is THE place for getting a health certificate for international travel.

The lady that watches our dog recommended 494 Animal Hospital we took our Maltese in to get his teeth clean. they did a fantastic job. When our dog came home he was full of energy. He was running around the house. Me and my wife were joking that they had tricked us and gave us the wrong dog highly would recommend them. Actually, they did quite a bit better job than the people we had used previously to have the same procedures done very happy with their services. Definitely use them in the future. Thank you for great services and caring about our pet.

UPDATED 2/9/22 - went to another vet and found out that 494 lied about the lab work. The new vet looked at the labs and was astonished at the scam 494 pulled when doing my pups lab work. 494 claimed my pup had a high thyroid and she didn't. AVOID! There's a chance they will kill your baby, they killed my neighbors dog!! And then there was this... I had to reschedule an appointment and they hung up on me in mid sentence. They used to be really good but now they are absolutely abysmal. GO SOMEWHERE THAT APPRECIATES YOUR BUSINESS.

They are convenient because they are close to my home. However, the receptionists can be curt and when you are worried about your pet that can be disheartening. The place needs a good cleaning also. While there with my dog, the staff were getting upset because they kept getting calls for appointments and stated so in front of me. I was going to say something to one of the vets, but he joined in with his support staff. I won't be bringing my pup back to someone who I seem to annoy.

Love the Loop 494 Vet, my family has been coming here for 20 years with our pets. The staff is wonderful and the doctors and technicians are always open to answers any questions we my have. Though it is important to have an appointment, walk-ins could take you all day because they focus so heavily on there established appointments; and in an emergency they are not the place to go. Instead they will direct you to the 24 hour Animal Hospital of the NE.

They are professional and caring. We take our dog here and my parents take their cats and dogs here. The place doesn't look brand new anymore but I don't care about the look. The place is clean and they take excellent care of my dog. The place is small with only two exam rooms that I am aware of, so you may have to wait for a little bit every once in a while. However like I said they take really good care of my dog and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have an African Grey parrot which requires an Avian vet, not just a vet that will see birds. My baby had what was obviously an eye injury and the got him in right away. They knew exactly what to do and how to handle him. He is a handfed baby and they also took the time to educate me on diet, how much he should eat at any given weight, and when to start weaning him. We will definitely be making this our permanent vet home.

They do the best they can with my bearded dragon, and are very understanding and listen well to my concerns, and work with me on treatments needed to figure out what's wrong. Dr. Bobby is kind and does what he can to help us and is straight forward about if he's unsure about something. My only problem is sometimes when I call there's a lady who answers who is very short and almost rude, like she doesn't wanna be there!

Dr. Bobby and the staff were great. They were running behind for our appointment but the front desk assistants kept us up to date on how much longer we would have to wait. Zeus loved the vet assistants and Dr. Bobby. Dr. Bobby was very informative about Zeus' lab results and recommendations on a course of treatment. He truly cares for all of his patients. I would definitely recommend this Veterinarian and his staff.

We were looking for a new vet for our Marley. From the time I called to make the appointment until we walked out of the door, these folks were extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Dori was great with Marley and answered all of our questions very patiently. We did not feel as though we were being rushed out of the door. Their prices appear to be very reasonable. I would highly recommend Loop 484 Vet Services.

Just got my rabbit neutered here, it was very easy to make an appointment, and they were amazing on communication the day of. Price was very reasonable considering they kept him there all day to make sure he was okay after the anesthesia! They’re very busy, so if they put you old hold (normally just a minute or two don’t be worried), just hang on, the receptionist is very friendly and helpful.

I want to say, that I LOVE Dr. Bobby @494 Animal Hosp#1 to CARE and Diagnose for All my fur babies.. His Attentive and SINCERE Attention concerning all my different fur babies and Reptiles such as IZZY. When @13 she got ill and came to make a hard decision to put her to SLEEP! (TEARS!) It got Handled with the BEST CARE and TIMELY manner here!. Sooo Yes to A 5 STAR review!!!!!

I had made an appointment 2 weeks in advanced to get my rats nails trimmed. When we arrived, they claimed to not have the appointment, Even though we called the day before to confirm. Then after that, the lady who brought them out to me was really rude to me about not taking drop ins. After I got home, I noticed one of my rats toes were bleeding. Absolutely unacceptable!

Our family is relieved each time Dr. Bobby and Dr. Dori can diagnose and treat our Great Danes. We've had great and consistent results over the last 5 years for everything from treating elderly dogs, to puppy shots, to major surgery and cancer removal. When the time came for a trip over the rainbow bridge, the whole team was respectful and kind. Thanks for all you do!

Its nice that they are just a call away and always quick if an emergency arises. Dr. Bobby is great and has been the only one that actually keeps Millie's allergy problems in check. She's a much happier pooch without the constant scratching and itching. I've never had any issues or concerns with my babies care and will continue to be a proud client for years to come.

Was a little apprehensive about taking our 100+ pound newly adopted Lab to the vet, but this office was so friendly and efficient! No waiting. Got in right at our scheduled appointment time. Dr Dori Hertel and her assistant were great in keeping my Lab calm and performed his exam and shots quickly and with very little discomfort to the dog. Highly recommend.

The Vet was very thorough and caring to my boys, Rex and Cooper. She didn't rush her and encouraged us to ask her any questions we had. My pup pups just loved her and gave her lots of puppy kisses. When it comes to my fur babies, I want someone I can trust and truly cares for my Rex and Cooper. My dogs are family so their care is very important to me.

Being that my sister is a vet, but lives to far away for me to take my babies to her.. I made sure that she checked this place out THOROUGHLY before my dogs surgery. They are a wonderful vet! Very nice and knowledgeable staff, with a big heart for every animal that walks through their door. Reasonably priced too, I would highly recommend them!

Thank you for seeing my pet rats! I got lost around here cause I don’t know the area, I arrived 25 minutes late, thank goodness they were understanding. Took care of my three rats, Chili, Cheese, and Pepper. Because of the virus I had to wait outside, the Vet and Vet tech came out to tell me how they were fine:) Thanks you guys!

I've taken all four of my dogs here since I moved to Kingwood. They're awesome - attentive and caring. If it's not an emergency, avoid coming on Mondays and schedule as early in the day as possible - like most good vets, appointments later in the day tend to run late as they do their best to fit in emergencies during the day.

I brought my senior rabbit in to see the doctor here a few weeks ago. She passed away this morning. Nevertheless, I was impressed with the care she received that allowed me a few more precious weeks with her. We are all born...and we all know the rest. Perhaps, that is why it is called "rest". VERY Reasonably priced. Our puppy got a hook in her lip and in no time they had it out. the office was clean. Had free doggy treats and everyone was friendly. I expected a long wait from the reviews but we were in the back pretty quick. If we ever have go to a vet again this will be my go to place from now on.

I absolutely love this vet! They were extremely friendly on the phone and all 3 of my German Shepherds loved the vet and her staff. Sorry, I'm horrible with names and can't remember the doctors name. But, trust me, after moving here and being with my last vet for over 20 years, I think I made the right choice.

We continue to receive expedient, professional, excellent Veterinary Care from Loop 494 Animal Hospital Administrative Staff, Doctors and all lab result s in a timely manner. Our pets (reptile, dogs, birds) remain in the finest of health due to the care received at this hospital. Truly, great kudos to you all.

I have a senior cat with many health issues. I asked for a phone callback to discuss the fact that my cat has not been eating for two days, while on appetite medication that is not working, now it's four days. I'll never go here again. How can they not call to say take him somewhere else did they can't help?

Dr. Bobby has been our vet for years. He takes great care of all of our animals. We have four dogs and seven birds. He’s not pushy and is very honest with you about any treatments needed. I highly recommend him! We have a cocker spaniel that has very high anxiety and he does really well with Dr. Bobby.

Love this place. They took my concerns and formulated a plan. They were not intimated by my dogs size. The other vet in Porter,Community, did not investigate my concerns and my dog suffers. I loved the vet and the staff. They pinpointed the issue and he goes in for surgery on tomorrow. Thank you

The Vets here are awesome. Its an older place without any frills but it's well kept and vey clean. All the staff have amazing customer service and care about your pet. Also very important is the prices are fair and you don't feel like you've been over charged to make sure your pet is healthy.

I would recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone needing a veterinarian. Dr. Bobby was our primary doctor, but we have seen others there, and they are wonderful, as well. The staff and doctors are very kind and always treated us and our fur babies with the utmost dignity and respect.

We have used Loop 494 Animal Hospital for over 10 years. They saved our cat from a serious infection, help tremendously when our lab got a spinal injury, and now continuing our trust in them with our new adopted baby girl pup! 100% Recommend them for all routine and emergency visits!

The staff is quick and super helpful! They have been treating my pets for a year now, and come highly recommended by family members who have been coming here for 15+ years. They stock most medication and even have an online shop to order more or get refills delivered!

A first time visit. They had a cancellation and worked us in for that reason. My dog had a bladder infection. The exam was thorough. Vett gave reasons for possible causes and what to do to prevent future problems. Prices were reasonable. My dog is feeling better.

Loop 494 Animal Hospital is such a caring facility. We are always met with happy faces and a helpful smile. Dr. Hertel is superb in her expertise with all of our horses, dog and cats. So thankful to have these people for all of our care and needs of our ranch.

I have been coming here since before 2009 (prob 2006ish) . The doctors and staff are amazing, personable, prices are good, and its just all around my fave place Ive been with my animals. As long as I live in the area, I will continue to bring my pets here :)

We love bringing our babies to Dr.Bobby. He has the best bedside manner and is always thorough and explains everything he is doing. The prices are reasonable and clear. This is one of a few small business vet offices still around. Please support them!

It's hard to find a veterinarian that services exotic animals, which is highly convenient. However the majority of the receptionists who answer the phone have an apathetic, coarse, and unwelcoming demeanor which infers a heavy sense of carelessness.

Very caring staff, had to put my dog down and they were amazing. For as sad as that moment is, they made us feel comfortable and cared for. The company they used for my dogs ashes was great too. The wooden box that holds Raiders ashes is beautiful.

Took our baby bearded dragon in "which was a rescue" because of an eye issue and Dr.Smith took time and explained everything to us. Took some time to do what needed to be done. She is amazing and would recommend this place and her to everyone.

We will never use another Vet group/animal hospital. Everyone from the front desk staff to the Vets are amazing. They have helped us through some very scary times and always taken the best care if our fur babies. Highly highly recommend.

The best vet in the area. My cats received the best care. These doctors caught and saved each of my cats from live threatening situations. And I found out that my sister brings her pet snakes there. She spoke fondly of them, as well.

I absolutely love them! They treated my old man so well and weren't at all annoyed when I called to check on him while his was waiting for surgery!! Dr. Smith is the best, she took amazing care of my baby from start to finish!

I really use to love this place. I would bring 3 of my pets here. But after COVID it’s impossible to get seen. They never have any openings and the Customer service has gone down. I had to take my business elsewhere.

Loop 494 has helped us nurse kitties through a broken leg, surgery for an acl tear, and numerous illnesses and allergies. Prices are very reasonable and they work with you for walk ins and emergencies.

Took excellent care of my bearded dragon I feel they were reasonably priced and our fecal test came back quickly they also took care in handling my dragon as to not stress her as much as possible
