Now, it's the day after Black Friday so I'm willing to overlook a lot of things but here's three things that are unacceptable -- outside the dressing rooms are a disaster. Just look at the picture. And that's just the one that's accessible! There was another one that was blocked off by clothes. The second is that the floor of the men's dressing room is covered in little needles!!! I'm guessing from the dress pants? I tried to get a picture but they're hard to see, but trust me they're there. The third thing -- AND I SAY THIS WITH ALL DUE RESPECT -- is, again, just to reiterate it's the day after Black Friday and you have ONE checkout station open manned by two people who, God bless them, but must have been in their 70s or 80s. I'm all for the employment of the elderly but these folks could barely stand upright and were having trouble just opening bags and getting clothes into them which led to a giant backed up line. And this is coming from someone who is very patient! Please please please put people in places where they're most likely to succeed!

Alondra’s (RTW) assistance at Macy's was truly exceptional. Each shopper's experience at Macy's is unique, but Alondra’s interactions with customers before us left a lasting impression. Her genuine willingness to assist, inquire about their day, and create a welcoming atmosphere are the very reasons why I am eager to return and continue shopping at Macy's. Upon approaching the counter, I was warmly greeted and engaged in pleasant conversation. Alondra even kindly offered me a Macy's credit card, which I politely declined, and took a moment to discuss my purchases. The level of engagement Alondra displayed with customers can greatly influence their shopping experience, and in this case, it made mine 100% positive. I strongly recommend hiring more individuals like Alondra, as her exceptional customer service will undoubtedly attract a flood of shoppers to your stores. I sincerely appreciate the quick but meaningful connection Alondra made with us.

I have been shopping at Macys since I was a little girl. And I feel that the quality of customer care and customer experience has dropped drastically. The return policy has changed to 30 days and no notice was sent out. I get Macys emails and texts all day but not one about a return policy being cut in half! That’s really unfair to the customer to not be notified. I spent over 2000 dollars that day. With only two items to return and to not get my money back or at least full value for my items is unacceptable. I was not aware of the change in policy and I am very disappointed at how this situation was handled. I’m taking my business and the business of my clients to another retailer moving forward.

Once we got someone's attention to help us, it went smoothly. I'm all about being yourself, but some employees are hard to look at because of their unique additions of ear gages, facial piercings, etc. to their body. They were very nice, but when the person you are talking to is in their 80's, they don't want to hear or see certain things. Music way too loud, when asked if they could turn it down, at least until we left, the worker did by 2 tapes. I saw what they did & put it down a few more levels. (Know your audience. Elderly with a walker does not want to hear rap with questionable language.) Yes, we did spend money in your establishment, but we will go elsewhere if it doesn't improve.

I shop Macy's often because they always have what im looking for, and the sales are great. I was visiting Austin and stopped by Macy's in the Domain to pass time. There weren't many associates to be found. The escalators weren't working, and the restrooms were closed. Otherwise, I would have given it a 5 because of my experience at the Lacomé counter. Jonathan and Allen were helpful with my foundation selection, which I had struggled with since the reformulation. They were both so knowledgeable and friendly and fun. They have a way of making you feel like you're the only one in the store without making you feel like you have to buy everything they show you. It was an entire experience.

Went to Macy’s at the Domain looking for a suit. Not a shocker judging their horrible inventory thrown about the racks, they didn’t have my size. I scanned the barcodes of a suit I liked with their app and ordered it while in the store. I got an email a few minutes later stating my order was canceled and to call the “consumer protection line”. Macy’s canceled my order because the billing address I put and the one listed on my card were different -they’re not. I tried to tell the person this but they stated I have to call my bank and update my address which is insane. My address is correct and current. I’ll solve this issue by not purchasing anything from Macy’s anymore.

I like Macy's. However, I'm compelled to address issues when they are due. I recently browsed this particular store and ended my visit immediately after walking through one section. First, the displays were a mess. It was damn near impossible to find a size nor did I want to at that point. No upkeep what so ever. Second, no employees were available to assist. I waited at the register for a full 5 minutes before I made the decision to put everything back and walk out. I've spent an adequate amount of time in retail as an employee as well as a consumer and this is not how a store should be conducting business. Definitely disappointed in this visit.

I had the Worst customer service by Kaniea Mccants . She was rude and not very helpful at all . She informed me that she was management within macys but if that’s the level of management this store has it won’t be long before they go out of business . I called the store and spoke to Sonia and asked for the store manager Houston Wyatt and she didn’t even know who he was . I waited on hold for almost ten minutes while she tried to get him on the phone and he never answered the phone . Good luck Macys I will be taking my business elsewhere where they care about their customers and provide stoner service to the people who sign their paychecks ..

Zero 000000000% or Today at 7:40 pm Me and my husband went there to buy a coat on men section, the super rude guy who have long hair who work there made disgusting face, OH BOY you don’t deserve to be there, Why you are making face to us when we are asking for help, If you dont like working there then leave, someone who is nice will probably get a job, if you are brown dont go here!!! That person think that you dont have money and you’ll not buy from them, who ever own this macys location You will be out of business if you keep hiring someone like him! NEVER going back to this location again!!!!

The 2 star rating is for the plus size clothing, not the store. The store is beautiful and the staff was friendly. However, this Macy's location has the most horrible collection of women's clothing. Not only is it horrible, it is the smallest selection I have ever seen in any Macy's I've shopped and I travel alot. It is my hobby to go to different Macy's in each state I visit to see the fun, different things each has. If you are a plus size, avoid this store. I'm guessing it's in a size 12 and below wearing demographic. Yet, in saying this, I did find something cute lol

The worst Macy's in the country. I travel for work and have been all over the United States. My wife and I went to this Macy's because she needed a suit. She wears Puls size clothing. We could not find the plus size section. We asked several workers and was told that this Macy's does not carry plus size clothing. They were also rather rude about it. Luckily there was a Dillard's in the same mall so we were able to find what we were looking for. This Macy's definitely changed my mind on how I see this store. From now on I will avoid shopping at a Macy's.

They don’t care! The employees are racist! You may go to buy an expensive watch but their employees will tell you clearly that they will help someone who “Looks” like they will buy a watch! rather than help someone who will look and might buy online. RUDE! Incredibly rude behavior! We were all so hurt by this behavior! Father’s Day was important to us too! We waited 2 hours and left without a watch on Father’s Day! Kids dad feels worst for making us wait so long! I’m still shocked and so upset because Nobody did anything to help us even then!!

Shoe Department no customer service. Shopping for shoes for my 15 year old. Customer service representative Miriam, very rude and even lied about having certain shoes. Another worker went to the back as I was about to buy the floor pair. As the worker went to the back, Miriam admitted there was another pair in the size I requested! appalling.. I went to Dillards. The customer service representative was friendly brought all the shoes I requested to try, bought five pairs of shoes. Starting and ending with Dillard’s next time.

They sell fake jewelry here and won’t help you at all if you come back and address them on the situation. There is no policy that allows them to return the product once you have worn it. How would you not wear it at least one time after buying it??? Then boom can’t return and no customer service. The manager with the purple hair is the most useless passive aggressive person I have had to deal with. No wonder this store struggles staying staffed and keeping fitting rooms clean.

Disappointed in the customer service. Tried to return two clothing items. Had my receipt and the tags. Because the tags had been removed they refused to let me return or even exchange anything! When did this policy start? I was an employee at this location for seven years and we always accepted returns as long as the receipt/tags were within 60 days. So now I can’t even exchange my clothes for a different size. Ridiculous!

The shop is located inside the Domain in Austin TX. Really a nice place. I was able to get most of my required stuff in the shop. The staff were equally very helpful and friendly. They had a very wide array of designers products. It was also very easy to get around the entire shop. This made the shopping experience really worth the while. I sure would definitely visit the store again whenever I am within the vicinity.

The women in fragrance are very rude. They do not want help all customers and when they do they’re not very nice. There is a specific elder lady with an Edna Mode haircut who has the snootiest attitude, and genuinely hurt my feelings. I went in to grab a specific cologne and when I was trying to buy it, it seemed as though they didn’t want to sell it me. Their needs to be new management in that department.

Not positive experience here. Under staffed and store uses weird and inconvenient deals which requires you to pickup next day. When I came to pickup my package next day, they kept sending from counter to counter. They don't appreciate customers time specially in a weekday. No wonder online shopping is eating into brick n mortar stores. Not recommended. Prices aren't good too.

It was surprisingly clean and organized. I didn't find the size and color we needed, but we're able to easily order online. For what we did buy, I like that the clerk wrapped the items on the hanger in a white plastic cover and tied the bottom for us to protect the clothes. I deducted a star because the line was pretty long and took a long time to check out.

It was nearly 80 degrees outside, and seemed like it was even balmier inside of Macy's. The perfume area is essentially unavoidable to get from one side of the store to the other, and it was unbearable. It actually gave me a headache from just power walking through to the escalator & I was dreading having to walk back through it to leave.

This store has lots of selections. Sales are going in now. The check out is fast even though few of them and lines can be long. When we checked out there seemed to be a lot of questions at check out. The Levi section had a very knowledgeable salesperson when they were few and far between.

I went to macys to return a jacket I bought yesterday. , got ask yesterday would you like to open credit card , I looked at the flyer the first thing that caught my eye is 30% interest no promotion period or anything , talk about ripping people off 30% interest come on.

Great shopping experience. Husband and I purchase our 1st anniversary present here. The lady at the watch station was very patient, helpful, and resourceful. Appreciate her time for our special day. Also I do not recommend the public restroom here. Its always dirty. :-(

Actually better than most Macy’s until you dare enter a fitting room. Went here with my wife and the fitting rooms have not been cleaned in a very long time. So nasty if anything touches the floor better to throw in the trash. The clothes piled up are how we found it.

Not sure what happened to Macy's but it's downright depressing. Couldn't find anyone working in the men's department, sparse inventory, someone left gross old flip-flops mixed in with new ones all over the floor it looks like there was a riot inside.

Way too much perfume cloud hanging around and poisoning the air while you shop. Why? Seriously. We couldn't spend the time we needed to shop because every square foot for covered by these horrible perfumes the sales associates spray around.

The clothing is such an unorganized mess. The store associates even agree. Macy's no longer has a plus size or petite section. So if your body is anything beyond "standard" Good Luck. And you'll need luck to find anything in this store.

Always a busy place. Certainly it's a huge store. Love the Christmas tree here every season. If you are visiting the domain, this is a good place to start with. There's plenty of open parking spots and easy to get around the shops.
