I used to love this location for curbside but the past few months, they say a majority of items I order are out of stock. Then when I proceed to walk into the store, the items are there! This past trip though, not only were they "out of stock" of half my items but the items they did bring to the car were completely smashed. A box of hot cocoa meant to be a gift looked like someone stepped on it. And two toy boxes, also gifts, were completely ripped open. There was a ceramic mug in the order that was not wrapped or protected in any way, just thrown in the bag with other items. Its become ridiculous the lack of effort or care on the part of the curbside staff. This location has a Starbucks with the feature to add on a drink to your curbside order. Not once or twice, but three times that I have added a Starbucks drink to my curbside order, they have canceled it saying that Starbucks inside was closed (at 8pm, they close at 9) or that they were out of coffee in the middle of the day...like what? If this feature makes the curbside people's life so much harder that they have to lie and cancel your order, Target should not offer it because the whole experience just becomes so frustrating when it's meant to be convenient. It makes me sad because this is (was) my go-to Target, used to be my happy place lol. Now more and more I just go to the North Austin location, even though it's technically not as nice of a store, they always seem to have my order in stock and it doesn't come out looking like they pulled it out of a trash bin. I get that working retail is a grind, and the curbside people who take care in prepping an order, I truly appreciate. But y'all careless ones are really a bummer.
Date of Visit: 4/11/2018 OVERVIEW - 4.4 Came here with a colleague with a case of munchies the night before a business meeting, as we couldn't find any other nearby grocery stores. LOCATION - 5 In proportion to our hotel, the Target wasn't too far of driving distance, it was also surrounded by other retail stores. PRICE - 5 I'm not too familiar with the prices in Austin, but for the most part they appeared reasonable for what we purchased. PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 I purchased the famous Texan Big Red. I thought of it as a caffeinated Red Creme Soda. Also purchased a few Totinos pizza. Cheap and satisfying. POINTERS/PERKS - 3 You have to purchase the bags! For a visitor from out of state, this is absurd! I can't hold it against Target, but instead the City of Austin. Each bag (in our case paper bags) costed 20 cents each. Total Madness. So I guess in this case it is BYOB (and not that's not Bring Your Own Beer, but Bring Your Own Bags). EMPLOYEES - 4 The employees were friendly enough, and I was actually surprised that an employee didn't say something about the price of grocery bags or a sign.
I like shopping here, but they made the bad parking lot even worse! The front door is in the corner of the lot, then they turn 50 close spots into curbside pickup. I have never seen more than 10 cars using curbside here. Between curbside and handicapped parking, there are about 30 spots near the doors. The other 200 parking spots are much further and across the chaos. Really bad choices here. HEB knows how to put curbside out of the way of all the other customers trying to give their business. I don’t think I can shop here anymore because I am getting upset every time I try to park here and end up closer to 183 than the front door of the store.
Target is one the best stores in the USA. This particularly Target location has lot of varieties and good customer service. I always felt that return policy is definitely fair and customer service representatives do understand people’ s issues. It is little costlier but product quality is better. I bought lot of products like umbrella strollers, zero water filters (buy regularly), dish washer soap (buy regularly), liquid hand soap refill, kids clothes and some more items. Overall it is very good shopping experience with Target. I would recommend to people to try this store for sure.
Spent nearly $800 on a TV and it didn't even come with a remote. Numerous attempts to get in touch with electronics department and guest services have been unsuccessful. You call the number and it rings and rings and then hangs up on you. I have tried for two months to get in touch with these people, no one answers the phones. I then drove back across town to the location and was told they can't do anything about it and I will have to contact the manufacturer of the TV. What a joke. This is how Target treats its customers? I won't shop at Target again.
I I had a lovely employee assist me with checking out. An item I found was on sale after being on clearance and she was super kind about adjusting the price. And before then, I had another kind soul help me figure out that the item I wanted wasn't in stores yet. Though disappointing, he made me feel good about it and I can wait :) I typically have a great time shopping here, but this last time was just really nice. Everyone was good-natured and helpful even though we're all dealing with COVID-19 stuff. Thanks!
Chris in electronics! Great job going the extra mile. I read online it said they had what I needed and when I got up there... shelf empty. Our protagonist Chris not only goes into the back to see if it had gotten delivered on a truck that day, he confirms and finds what I needed. Thanks Chris, its the small stuff like that which makes the complicated world we live a little more easier to breathe in...or listen in with this case because my reason for visiting Target today was audio related. Thanks man.
Their environment made me feel safe: the carts were sanitized, the cleaning supplies had a quantity limit per customer, my cashier was very welcoming and cleaned the belt after every customer. My cashier even reminded the next person in line to wait at the designated 6 foot marker which made me feel even more appreciative. Everything I needed was stocked and it was nice to see all employees working to creating a welcoming environment. Thank you for exceeding my expectations in these confusing times.
Clean, neat stores and professional, friendly staff. Target remains an awesome place to shop and the added option of being able to pickup orders curbside, just makes them even better than ever. While Target may carry items at a slightly higher price point than Walmart, Target undoubtedly has higher quality products. Lastly, I am vegan and Target always has a nice selection of plant-based products: from non-dairy milk and coffee creamers, to veggie burgers, and ice-cream. Thank you Target!!
Employee with braids who works at the order pick up station was rude and sarcastic. His nasty attitude is not for a grocery story, he should not been allowed to work with people. It’s so pity that people hate their jobs and have to take it on customers. The other employee had very pathetic energy. This particular location is trashy. No wonder they have a security guard by the main entrance. Too many scumbags shoplift in the area, which used to be a very nice and safe area back then.
Update 09/2023. A purchase at Starbucks earns SBux stars and if you have Target Circle, the purchase gets credit there as well. Just input your Target Circle info at checkout. While you're there, it's convenient that a grocery store is right there. Many of their own brand Good and Gather products are excellent. I don't hesitate to use that store brand. Try the flavored water and frozen fruits! Target is my go-to for things that people most probably go to that other major store for!
This has become our favorite target to go to. The people that work here are really nice and friendly, specially a lady that works there and we’ve seen a couple of times, she seemed really happy and she even gave some stickers to our son. Right now is under construction and bathrooms are outside, but that doesn’t even get in the way of having a good shopping experience. Parking lot gets a little crazy, but once inside you can’t tell that there’s that many people in there.
Extremely disappointed by my most recent visit to this Target location on Tuesday morning. I was shocked at how a manager seemed to be speaking to their employee while other shoppers and I were nearby in the womens clothing section. Very condescending language and she was speaking very loudly to her employee about how the clothes were laid out. Maybe Target management should reconsider how they treat their employees when shoppers are nearby.
This location didn’t even give a closing announcement, they just started cutting off lights and closed the registers before the actual closing time. The employees were rude and almost didn’t want to let me and about 40 others check out. One girl closed her register in front of all of us and didn’t even try to help us. Terrible customer service. As a former Target employee I know this isn’t the standard for shutting down the store.
With the exception of the pharmacist themselves, the staff there is quite rude. I’ve never asked if I need help although I see many employees. Often times I go in I see them congregating, talking about their weekends, and what not and still not speaking to customers. The only reason I went and shopped at this target was because my prescriptions were ready for pick up and I was already there other than that I don’t shop here.
This is a really nice Target compared to some of the others in town! It's kind of out of the way for most people, but there are a ton of other big stores nearby (Sam's Club, Best Buy, Ulta) so that makes up for it. The store is super clean and we'll organized. It's a big store so there are a lot of options. Only a few lanes were open when we were here, but there are 4 self checkout lanes so we used those.
Even though I moved from this Target neighborhood, my family and I find ourselves shopping here rather than the location that is closest to us. The store is inviting, and brightly lit, the parking lot feels safe and kept up well, and most of all, the customer service and the pharmacy staff are GREAT! Also, this location keeps up with mask wearing guidelines, compared to the location closest to us!
One of the better and larger stores in the area, we’ll maintained and managed. Friendly and helpful employees, Starbucks, magnolia home, Ulta sections inside are also well stocked and serviced. Hard to find items are usually available and returns / customer service is also very helpful. One catch, they seem to close a bit earlier then other stores on weekend - 10:00 pm.
My boyfriend slipped and hurt his knee to the point where it caused a limp. The staff failed to place a wet floor sign which caused the incident. The maintenance member that had mopped there did nothing about the situation, she just watched him cry from the pain. 1/5 star review because the staff did nothing to help or accommodate him for the injuries sustained.
In the store shopping for games for my PS5 that I just picked up and purchased.. get harassed at the back of the store by an employee demanding to see my receipt. He was extremely aggressive. Thought that was awfully strange since when do you stop people who are still in the midst of shopping and ask them for their receipt??? I need an explanation.
A good target, but I believe that it's this way because it is in a good area. Always pretty well stocked, and helpful staff as well. Shout out to the people working in the clothing department. That's the department I used to work back in the day and I know how hard of a job it can be. They really keep it looking good, especially the shoe section.
They're currently under renovation which means things can be difficult to find. However, they put people on the floor specifically to help customers, which actually made shopping easier than normal. I'm writing this review specifically because of a person named Julie who was proactively helpful. Thank you, Julie, for perfect customer service!
My go to Target in the area. I’ve never been a fan of Target but now find myself shopping for everything bed, bath, groceries. I find the prices of the store brand items to be comparable to Walmart not as expensive as I thought it was. The checkout can be slow but the self checkout is quick. Friendly staff when you need assistance.
I have visited this place multiple times. Wrote this review on 05Dec2019. Purchased iPhone 11 Pro Max clear case and screen Guard. Purchased diapers and other house need stuff. Very big store with ample parking area. We spent around 1 hour here. Feel good and comfortable. Customer friendly people. Will come again for shopping.
LOVE the new swimsuit collection. Now, not having cashiers available at the end of the day is BS. Keep in mind I go to the store at the end of MY long work day and I am spending money. Having to work to spend money is not cool. For those who like self-checkout , awesome. But there should be the options for cashiers available.
Don’t come to this store if you are expecting to engage with friendly employees. There’s an employee who is consistently stationed at self check out who is rude and she always has an attitude problem. Management could care less about customers experiences or the organization of the store, which is always a complete mess.
I love Target because it is always clean, the staff friendly and diverse and has quality products. I recently tried the order pick up option. It was easy to use, fast and ready to go when I stopped in on my lunch break. I did miss roaming the store and looking at all of the great options, but super nice when in a hurry!
Definitely one of my favorite target locations. I’m really digging their new Drive up stations with shades, really cool. They have some good stuff here in stock and love their addition of ulta beauty and CVS. I definitely prefer this over the other target locations nearby. It’s close to Costco and Sprouts.
Placed a drive up order? Hope you’re not expecting it even though you’ve been waiting for 20 minutes because of some rain that you watched dry up 15 minutes ago! Because this target surely won’t tell you that your order is just not coming out and will give you some attitude when you call about it!
Amazing as always, but this target just hits different. Great prices (even better than Costco in some spots!) and extremely friendly staff. I forget the name of the woman in the beauty dept who helped me link my Ulta rewards to my Target Circle app, but she was so friendly and such a delight.
I mean, who doesn’t love Target?? The upgrade to the mobile app where there’s just one barcode for all of your purchases is epic. Returns are so easy and the staff is friendly. The only problem is sometimes their stock is low on some items, but I assume that’s a supply chain issue.
The store is clean. The layout is easy to maneuver. They have high quality product at competitive prices. Remember to bring in your own shopping bags and they will give you a credit at check out. They have self checkout with an employee to clean the machine between customers.
I prefer to order online and pickup in store for most purchases. This is my favorite Target store in Austin for several reasons. It is a well stocked store, it has a well stocked pharmacy and grocery dept., it is clean, with a Starbucks too. Target did it well again.
I did the curbside and came home with the wrong order. I drove back and was given the wrong order 3 more times. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in a long time. Corporate really needs to retrain the management on what customer service means.
The Target in Pflugerville, Austin Texas is the only Super store available in the entire US. The selection of items are the best. I always make make it a point to visit when I’m in Austin. The fashion is great and you have so many selection to chose from. ♥️
Hello, I went today to target for starbucks and supplies for the home and I just wanna say the starbucks manager and Shadman have amazing customers service the conversation is great and genuine kind people I hope they do great with this store !
This was a great Target. Jenna and Freddy at the dressing room treated me differently than I had ever been treated at a Target. They were nice to everyone and went out of their way to be helpful to others. Many employees asked if I needed help.
All the employees I came in contact were very unfriendly. At the pharmacy counter and in the store aisles. Lady at the pharmacy counter was trying to rush me off when I simply asked a question. Like ok calm down I’m not here to rob you or
The personnel at Target were very helpful, showed us where we could find the items we needed, and asked if we needed any help (with out 2 full baskets). The cashier was cordial, helpful, fast, and a pleasure to talk to. Way to go, Target!
This is a great location and the parking lot is nice and big so it's easy to get in and out. The store is pretty big but well organized and easy to find what you need. They always have the hippest and coolest stuff whether it be clothes,
This review is for the Luxottica Eyeglasses store in the Target. I needed to get my eyeglasses adjusted as they were sitting noticeably askew on my face. Ashley greeted me with a smile and professional courtesy, stated she could address
This is the closest target to me and I have been there quite a few times for sales. The place is well lit and everything is easily marked off and easy to find. The target app makes it super easy to find anything in their store and even
Baby clothes section was a mess with not very many little boy outfits overall they are well stocked on everything I needed. Please please please keep up the target circle 20% off baby clothing. It comes in handy. …
Research & Great Hills Trail: Great! This location had the newest gel lotion I was looking for. Had to look a bit. The categorization of items could have been better, but a good selection of products were available.
I used to love this store. Now every time I go there are zero cashiers and only self service pay stations open. I will not be shopping here anymore, except at the pharmacy where there are people to ring you up.
Nice, clean store but prices in general are higher than Walmart. Some good deals in the app and 5% discount with RedCard credit card. Circle loyalty program membership also required I believe for the discount.
This location is super clean and well maintained. The parking lot can be a little confusing because there are no clear exit signs and you can end up driving down an aisle to a dead end when trying to exit.
Great service/ always clean/ promotions: Download the app and get 1% cash back on purchases . Great store with awesome service. Bathrooms are a bit run down but everything is is super clean great.
Nice target with everything. Only reason I gave them 4 stars is some of their things are not above the correct price labels. Luckily Target has an app where you can the upc for the price.
Great store; always clean! I returned a product that my gift recipient was not satisfied with. I went to the store in the evening, there was no line, and the process was quick.
Horrible customer service they kept on hanging up on me. Every time I called was on hold for 30 minutes I will not be returning the manager named Ari had a terrible attitude.
Stopped here today for the first time in a long time. The store looked great! The shelves were stocked neatly and the whole store had a good feel. Thanks!
Don't keep it stock up enough hard to find someone to help you thought I would at Walmart One cashier all they have plus Steve self-service ones
This place isn’t even safe anymore… they have some freedom fighter, nosabo, gun-ho incel security… like oh yeah I feel much safer thanks target.
Would rather stand around and talk than open a register. They don't offer anything I can't get anywhere else so....I will be going elsewhere
There are a lot of targets in Austin and this one consistently has the best selection. It's also very easy to get to, park and get out of.
Neat looking target, different from the rest. Very clean store. Starbucks had good services. Only 2 lanes open and lines were long.
Newly renovated and the layout is nice with a new self-checkout for the food and drinks. Enjoy coming to my neighborhood Target
Ordered product from website for in-store pickup. Went very smoothly. Will do it again. May try curbside pickup next time.
Not enough checkout lines. They were putting up merchandise when I was there good prices and the service I got was good
This store has so much potential. Just needs to work on customer satisfaction and organization of inventory
Grandson's go-to for checking out new toys in the toy department - always finds something he "needs".
I always love Target. They always have great things, and there is always something great finds.
This Target is always clean, organized, the customer service is good, I like to shop there.
I can always find something in clearance and get a good Starbucks drink from the cafe.
Came here looking for a “baby on board” car sticker / magnet and couldn’t find it. ):
My favorite store to shop at. Always neat, clean and stocked with everything I need!
Store was clean, staff was helpful and there is a hot security guard walking around
Anna at the self checkout is so rude. This Target feels like shopping at a Walmart.
Seemed to have everything you would expect in a target. Screaming baby didn’t help
Busy day! Many things ran out at this location today, but it is a good Target.
Typical Target. I liked the store before all the department store changes.
Curb pickup of order. Took a bit longer than I'd like but was accurate.
Only issue is grocery selection, rarely find brands I am searching for
The employees at this location are fantastic. Highly recommend!
Always find what I want, plus some at Target.
Great Target, but I went to the wrong one.
Easy to find products and helpful staff
It's a good target. And a busy one.
