I ordered a flower arrangement for my employer's wife who just had a surgical procedure. I advised Marcela I wanted all yellow flowers, as they are her favorite, with hints of hot pink roses or another flower, in support of breast cancer awareness. Though the arrangement is beautiful, it is not what I requested. There are a total of 5 yellow flowers throughout the arrangement, and the pink roses are the wrong hue. I can appreciate the accommodation for next day delivery. I requested a photo of the arrangement before they went out because I read in another review that she did this for them, and didn't get one. Paying for the purchase was easy but perfecting the order proved difficult. I felt rushed and a bit bothered by Marcela's manner. She was cold and uninterested in understanding the emotion that I wanted to relay with my gift. I couldn't share all the sentiments I wanted as there was a language barrier. I kept it simple at "get well soon" but I don't know if that was relayed because, again, I didn't receive photos of what I was sending. I would not recommend this flower shop to my friends and family.

If I could review this with zero stars I would. Terrible customer service, terrible everything. I sent someone flowers on Valentine’s Day and she never received them. They didn’t believe us and continued to ignore our calls. I’m not from Chicago so the girl I sent flowers to had to go deal with them. Still never received a refund or the actual arrangement she was supposed to get. Emailed them and called them and still nothing and it’s been 2 weeks now. DON’T GET FLOWERS FROM HERE.

I ordered a beautiful flower arrangement for my mother's birthday, and I was very happy with the outcome! I spoke to Marcela and told her I was in NY and wanted to send my mother a flower arrangement. Since I wasn't in Chicago to visit her flower shop, Marcela sent me various pictures of the flower arrangement she could make. She listened to all my requests and used the kinds of flowers and colors I wanted for the arrangement. Great service!

I cancelled an order on May 3rd and still have not received a refund and it has been over a week. Their voicemail is full. I have sent numerous of emails and have not received a response, I even messaged the owner on Facebook and have not heard anything. They have 3 websites linking back to the shop which is very confusing and 2 of those sites have 2 different emails. I shouldn’t have to go to this extent to receive a refund.

Order flowers for Mother’s Day and I was so disappointed on the arrangement the tulips were all closed there were about 6 tulips and that was premium size arrangement . The only good thing about there service was the delivery. It came early. I will never order from them again. I was so embarrassed my mom got those flowers for Mother’s Day. Lessoned learn.

I’m in KS and my daughter’s place of employment is just a mile from Marcela’s Flowers in Chicago. They delivered a beautiful arrangement to her for her 31st birthday. The only thing I would change… I would call and order them directly and not use their online ordering. For this small business, calling them direct is a much easier process for them.

I got charged over 80.00 dollars on my credit card. It said it was swiped. I did not order or come in and buy anything. My card was with me at the time and I have never been to your state. The lady I talked to there at the store just kept hanging up on me. I would like to talk to somebody in management department please. Thank you Tammy

I needed last minute flowers and Marcela’s Flowers did an exceptional job! I put in another order today! Hoping to have the same result but the bouquet was so beautiful and a lot bigger than expected. The only thing is you have to call to see if your order is ready because they don’t call. But their service was so fast.

Terrible service. Ordered Online for mothers day. Went to pick up my order and it wasn’t ready, I was told to go back a hour later. When I picked it up the arrangement had only 3 roses. I had paid for a “premium” arrangement which the picture had about 6 roses on there. What a waste of money, never buying again.

Had a great experience with the online ordering process. I had to call and make changes to the info on my order, and it was quick and easy. I selected the Daily Special to let the designers create an arrangement, and it was beautiful. The recipient loved it. Thank you!

We ordered a tulip bouquet for Mother’s Day and it came in a BEAUTIFUL ceramic jar. The tulips are starting to open which is making the arrangement last longer than just a few days ! Marcela goes above and beyond with her creative arrangements and her creative mind !
