We have been visiting for over 4 years because vets are good. However, now this clinic has become a money-milking scheme with no genuine consideration for animals. Teddy (pug) got his vaccinations done yesterday and has a swollen face today. They charged me $280 for appointment yesterday and now trying to milk another $150 because supposedly "they are fully booked". In our history with this clinic, you can get an appointment with them almost anytime, but why not take advantage of a distressed customer - Zero Ethics! Rather than considering it could be genuine reaction, they are deeming it as a given that it is possibly a bee sting or an insect bite - which is not the case, because nothing has changed in Teddy's routine or his whereabouts except having vaccinations yesterday. Vets and Staff Members are washing their hands off any accountability and trying to make money out of this situation. Ridiculous !

I regularly see Dr Alexis and she is utterly fantastic. The front desk women are spectacular and so accommodating, including all the nurses and vet staff. The level of care at this animal Hospital is phenomenal, and you're never left in the dark about any choice of treatment or options available. My dear Rosie has had her quality of life improve so much! She is never upset or scared when in the consulting rooms even though she has been there many times. I have always been treated with the utmost respect from all staff although I'm a young uni student. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the MAH staff for everything you have done for Rosie and I, we can't thank you enough ❤️ PS: the photo of her in the jumper was when we first went to MAH (July 2017), the one on the floor is her in a consultation, and the one of her smiling is most recent (April 2018). The photos speak for themselves.

Extremely expensive. Spent 800 over 2 months trying to stop my dog from getting ear infections. They were giving me treatments for the infection but nothing to keep them at bay so they would just come back. A different vet and 100 later, he hasn't had issues with his ears for months. The year before, 4000 for a 2 hour operation to fix a broken leg. My sisters dog had a far more complicatex operation which lasted over 3 hours on her dogs front leg (same breed, size etc) pinning and plating 2 bones and it cost her around 2000 at a different vet. Its all about money. Vet sinnott was definitely the best of a bad lot. I've been back a few times since and changed my review. There are good and bad vets here, hard to see the same vet as so many vets come and go. You may get a good one, you may get an average one. My dogs leg is still trouble free after 6 years so that is very reassuring.

My cat Itchy broke her back right leg a week ago in 4 places and I had to get her checked up and X-rayed and splinted/bandaged/casted up after being under anaesthetic for the day and the lovely staff took great care of her and are providing continual treatment with fresh bandage changes weekly followed by fresh X-rays in 8wks time to check how the broken bones are healing with an 85-90% normal healing prognosis so fingers crossed after 8-12wks she'll be back to her normal self and in the mean time is getting looked after and loved as usual. Poor kitty cat but thank you for your help. Invested in pet insurance for any future potential mishaps after spending all my savings getting her looked after. Haha thanks again

I brought our 12 year old dog to see Emma for a second opinion on arthritis management and had such a good experience. She has a lovely bedside manner and is very knowledgeable and practical/reasonable. Our recent appointments with vet’s resulted in us feeling guilt for not going ahead with the most expensive/invasive treatment recommended. It was really refreshing and comforting to meet with a vet who has a “country vet” feel - who’s not pushy and let’s our dog’s comfort/quality of life guide the decision making. The nurses were also lovely and very forgiving of us being late. We live 40 minutes from Marion Animal Hospital but will keep coming back as it’s well worth the drive.

Everyone here was so compassionate and friendly when it came to our big rottweiler girl. Booking appointments was super easy, and even a couple of emergencies they were able to squeeze us in super fast. When it came to the end for our girl, everyone was so supportive and understanding, giving us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. Cremation services were arranged directly through them which made the process much simpler while we dealt with our loss. A huge thank you to everyone who treated and adored our girl. One day once we are healed and welcome a new fur baby into our family we will definitely be using Marion Animal Hospital again.

Excellent animal hospital / vet. Our American Cocker Spaniel has been twice and both times received wonderful care. We were given expert advice and a range of treatment options each time. Unlike other vets I have been to in the past, they don't immediately recommend the most expensive treatments/medications and actually take the time to explain benefits of each and whether it is worth doing rather than an unnecessary extra. I value the honesty and their genuine concern. We will be returning for our furry friend's future vaccinations and for any medical needs.

We found a dog when out walking that had escaped from its yard. We were able to get some rope from the scouts hall to walk the dog home and then we took him up to the vets. They scanned him and said they would contact the owners. The girls behind the counter were really friendly and happy to help. I saw a post on Facebook just after leaving with the dogs photo on it saying it had escaped through a hole in the fence. I called the owner to say that we had dropped off the dog at the vets, and the vet had already contacted her within minutes. Good work guys!

I can highly recommend this veterinary surgery,.. Dr Phil, Sandy and all of the staff have been nothing but professional, helpful, kind and empathetic. They guided me through options prior to surgery for my small aged dog and despite it not going as smoothly as hoped, Dr Phil gets 10/10..for his skills, his kindness and his genuine concern and follow up. Happily, my little fur kid is now happy and healthy again . I have been to a lot of vets around SA over the years but never received the quality attention that the Marion Veterinary Hospital provided

Dr Emma and the staff at Marion Animal Hospital are amazing. My kitten presented with what appeared to be FIP but tests weren't showing this. Dr Emma started treatment straight away on the basis he was showing all clinical signs. More tests were done and eventually we got a positive. I am so glad Dr Emma went with her gut and clinical diagnosis. Mr Meowgi is doing so well and he loves visiting everyone there. He has another 7-8 weeks of treatment to go! My cat got FIP which made me so hopeless, and the previous vet tried to charge me more and more money. So we came to dr. Wright, he’s so kind and professional. He knows that we spent a lot of money already, so he always gave me the most valuable plan which helped me a lot! He ordered the medicine so quick, and my cat got treated so well. Now my cat is so healthy! After few month dr.Wright still messaged me to ask if my cat is alright. I really appreciate dr.Wright and all the hospital staff. You guys are amazing!

We could not speak more highly of all the staff at Marion Animal Hospital. In our experience, the reception staff have always been understanding and accommodating. The vets and vet nurses demonstrate excellent knowledge of promoting health and managing illness and emergencies in cats and dogs. They are patient and answer all our questions. Services are reasonably priced. A special mention to the compassionate Dr Mairead who very thoughtfully sent a condolences card following the loss of our cat, Jasmine. Thank you.

Unfortunately I had to have my cat put down. I waited until the last second I didn't want her to lose any life she didn't have to. They were very sympathetic and gave me time to air my concerns and guilt and I did not feel rushed. I paid $110, and buried her myself at home. My Dad had only just died so I was feeling uncharacteristically fragile. I wrapped her in a white towel. They do a good job of managing people who are in an emotional state. It's not a pleasant job yet I feel that they put my needs first. .

Very caring, very friendly and very thorough. I am so glad I took Lucy she is so much better now. I always had the best care with my other 3 dogs over many years also. They are truly a wonderful place to take your fur babies. The best of care is always given. Especially at the worst time when they are going to be going up to heaven, they are just so wonderful with the animals and the humans. I took my neighbour to the Marion AH to euthanise her dog last night 6/5/23 and the care they gave them was absolutely exemplary. Ive never seen such care given to a distressed owner with their old dog. We were there for an hour and a half but they didnt charge very much. They didnt rush her and so many nurses were showing empathy and care for both dog and owner. The vet was so caring and lovely too. I cant thank you enough for showing such love at such a devastating time. Im quite awestruck.

We took our very distressed rescue on a Saturday afternoon, he had hurt himself and wad in a considerable amount of pain. I had called and they were able to see him for an appointment within an hour. Ashlee the vet was gentle, calm, compassionate and so respectful of him and us. When we went to pay we were pleasantly surprised at the cost, we then got a follow up call to check in on him early Monday. We will not be taking him anywhere else now. Highly recommended clinic.

My family has been taking our dogs (a Frenchie and a Terrier) to Marion Animal Hospital for years and they have been absolutely wonderful. Sometimes the issues our dogs have had, have not been straightforward, but we have always received the best guidance and care. Dr. Emma is our regular vet and she is incredibly knowledgable and kind, the reception staff are lovely, and their animal dental team did a tremendous job too. I can't recommend them highly enough!

We used this vet whilst in Adelaide for Junie who developed an eye infection - it was great they were open on weekends are were very kind to accomodate us at short notice - especially as we were a new customer. All staff were helpful, engaging and the vets were thorough took time to explain things to us. And importantly they were fantastic, caring and gentle with Junie. In our minds they have definitely become our Adelaide vet as we are regularly in Adelaide.

Such a great clinic - always have great, last-minute availability and the sweetest vets and reception staff who are kind to both the pets and their humans. Even if it's a sad or stressful visit, I've never once felt like proper time and care (and wonderful bedside manner) wasn't a priority for the staff. You can tell they love animals, big and small. Thank you for always taking such good care of my babies <3

Friendly and informative service, good convenient location. My dog is large and sometimes aggressive, he has become anxious while being attended to in the small examination rooms in the past. So they always let me wait in the grassed yard area and attend to his needs there on the spot, which is very nice of them. Although my dogs series of cortisone injections haven't seemed to work as well as I hoped.

Took my boy Teddy here for some dentistry yesterday the service was great friendly and prompt. This has been my local for years and even now i live in mount barker i still travel here as other vets haven't compared. Pricing was what they said and very reasonable no hidden costs. Teddy took a liking to Tara who was very caring and loving towards him so thanks to all the staff for looking after him.

The staff that work here are so incredibly friendly, i’ve had to call up a few times over the last months after getting a new puppy and the staff at the front desk have always answered all my questions. Darcy at the front desk especially today made me feel so much at ease and spoke so kindly and offered any help that she could. Really recommend the clinic and props to the staff for being amazing

I cannot recommend this vet practice enough. My kitten (now cat) has had two surgery’s due to leg complications. They have always taken amazing care of him, amazing after care as well. The vets and the surgeons are super helpful and friendly, they care about their patients and ensure their owners are at ease and have detailed knowledge of what’s going on. Best Vet in Adelaide! We bring our two cats here and always experience excellent service. They are professional, considerate of animal needs and best of all their staff don’t try and upsell you things you don’t need for your animal. They are fairly priced and conveniently located. They have adequate parking, a great selection of pet foods and their rooms and floors are always clean. They have our loyalty.

I had to find a vet clinic that was open after business hrs when my dog was hit by a car recently. The team at Marion Animal Hospital were amazing. We hadn't been there before but they treated us like valued, regular clients and were incredibly supportive. They even stayed open later than usual to ensure my dog had the very best of care. P.S My gorgeous furry baby is 100% ok!!

First time visit with my dog Boof today, lovely staff brought the paperwork out to me to fill in and made the room closest to the door available for us, as Boof is still a bit reactive. My boy passed away after visited this hospital, before that he was fine, could walk, talk, jump ,and play,everything were like normal, after had visited this hospital, he couldn't even stand up, don't know how they did the urine test!My heart was broken in pieces,crying over days till no more tears left ,I truely wish all animals are healthy and well.

Super friendly staff and Sandy was genuinely a cat lover and showed exceptional care for our cat. Unlike some other vets in the area, they don't seem to be trying to milk every cent they can out of you which is refreshing. We will be bringing our other two cats there soon. They also have a pet boarding service which we'll be utilising next month.

I am very appreciative of the time and effort Dr Maddy has put into my beloved dog. My dog actually loves visiting the vet. She always rushes to the front door with her tail wagging. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. They really love animals. The prices so far have been reasonable. The liver treats are definitely a great addition.

We recently had our very much loved bunny out down. I didn’t feel rushed in saying goodbye. Beautiful bed side manners from dr chloe. My dog got very bad diarrhoea, and vomiting with blood, I haven’t made any bookings yet bcz everything came so suddenly. Fortunately the hospital accepted my dog and brought her to life! Baby Bella had lump removals on the day she was taken in I had to come home and wait for hours. She enjoyed the Uber ride took Sully with her and came home feeling better worries over thanks to the staff who took care of her and the very clean facilities. They really get the need for infection control. Care in the best of hands!!!!

The best vet ever. Abby loves to hang out at the vets. Always seen within 10 minutes and can make day of bookings sometimes within the hour. The vets that have taken care of us are amazing. Great place. We took our West Highland Terrier here in an emergency after he was severely bitten by another dog. They were so professional and reassuring and did a really great job with him. They called me the next day to check up on how he was going which was really lovely. Great service when we were in desperate need!

Al the lovely people who work here are amazing and so understanding! Took my puppy Yuna here to get some stitches and she was treated with amazing care, and awesome communication from the workers, haven't a bad word to say, would highly recommend to anyone needing their fur baby treated and cared for.

My cat was very sick and it was Sunday when I called them. All staff at the hospital was very helpful and supportive. It was obvious the doctor loved animals and was great with Olive (she had to stay the night to get fluids and medications). They told me upfront how much it would cost as well.

The service and people are second to none, they are helpful, friendly and caring. They really care for your pets, the surgery is clean and tidy and plenty of places to sit to keep a degree of separation between animals. All the staff have my recommendation and I would never go anywhere else.

We made the change to this Vet from a recommendation and have now been back for our Schnauzers annual checkups and vaccinations twice now. To us they seemed to care more offering advise that was balanced and thorough without the need to dive into our pockets (as others before had attempted)

Marion Animal Hospital was compassionate and speedy when we had to bring in our cat who was having breathing problems on a public holiday. They did all they could to stabilise her, unfortunately she didn't make it, but we will always be thankful for the care and attention we received.

Tara (Vet) is absolutely fabulous! My bunny was extremely nervous but Tara was fantastic making her relaxed and very comfortable. She really cares about animals in her care and I can't say I have ever met a vet that is as compassionate and emphatic as Tara. She is truely amazing!

I've called with native birds that need medical attention. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Although I haven't paid for their services I have at one of their associated clinics and they're the only people I trust with my birds.

Such a wonderful practice. Quick to get in (within the hour) extremely professional and caring. Lovely nurses and the vet we saw was caring, gentle and got a grass seed out without anaesthetic. And reasonably priced!

Excellent vets with good opening hours especially on the weekend when most things go wrong with my dog. If you have pet insurance it's also really easy to make claims.

Been here a few times for our dog. Vet assistants, vets and support staff are friendly and conscientious. Facilities are good, easy to get to and fees are reasonable.
