I recently had a highly unpleasant shopping experience at Marshalls that left me frustrated and disappointed. While I was at the check out with my mom, the behaviour of one particular sales associate tarnished my perception of the store. The sales associate who seemed to radiate an unwarranted amount of rudeness and attitude. Her demeanor was cold and uninviting from the start, which instantly put me on edge. I attempted to brush off her dismissive tone, assuming she might have been having a bad day, but unfortunately, her behavior only worsened as the encounter progressed. While paying for my items at the cash, I found myself torn between two water bottles that I was considering purchasing. In order to make a final decision, I decided to walk away from the checkout momentarily to compare the bottles side by side. However, to my utter disbelief, the same sales associate called security on my mom and I, assuming that we were attempting to steal something. How embarrassing! “She” thought I didn’t hear her accusatory tone while talking to the security guard. Her baseless suspicion directed towards me were deeply insulting and uncalled for. The sales associate's lack of professionalism and empathy were evident throughout the entire interaction. While I understand the importance of security measures and preventing theft, there should be a balance between vigilance and respect for customers. The assumption of guilt without any evidence or reasonable suspicion is a severe violation of customer trust. Marshalls should be more cautious in their hiring process and ensure that their employees possess the necessary qualities to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all shoppers. In an era where inclusivity and customer satisfaction are prioritized by many businesses, it is disheartening to encounter such a negative experience at Marshalls. As a customer who values diversity and equality, I believe it is essential for Marshalls to take more proactive measures to address incidents like this, ensuring that their staff receives proper training to provide a respectful and inclusive environment for all customers. I hope that my feedback prompts Marshalls to reevaluate their hiring and training practices, so that future customers do not have to endure the same mistreatment I experienced.

I recently moved to Canada and I have to buy a lot of items on a daily basis. Frankly speaking I was not even aware of the fact that Homesense and Marshalls are part of one large group. Prior to my arrival in Canada, I knew Homesense and was sure that a lot of my requirements related to Bathroom, Kitchen, etc. will be taken care of by Homesense. Everyone is helpful in Canada and makes you feel like home. I was well greeted in the store, helped by Sales Representatives. I was well followed-up by the Sales Representatives if I am facing any concerns in finding the things. I was well guided by the Sales Representatives for the items I was looking for. Feels good when you are new to a country and people around are making your life easier in all the way possible. I was explained the benefits of the TJXSTYLE+ program by the Cashier during check out and I liked the fact that the same program applies to Homesense, Marshalls and Winners. You definitely visit these stores now and then & it is a great way to recognise loyalty by rewarding points redeemable during future purchases and also getting regular updates of the new trends, things in store, discounts and all. I always have a great shopping experience here. The staff are great! They've been helpful and super friendly everytime except once, but my experience is by and large a great time. I always find what I was looking for, and usually leave with a few more things. I deliberately don't use a basket or a cart hoping that will dissuade me from buying more than the one or two things I went for, but it never works. I enjoy going thru the new stuff -- and there's always cool new stuff. My go-to store for gift buying (including gifts for me!) Finally, don't be dismayed if there's a long line at the registers, it moves quickly -- and more cool stuff to look at. My one criticism is that the only places to get a basket or cart are on the way in and on the way out. For shoppers like me who grab more than planned, it's a drag to lug all my stuff across the length of the store just to grab a basket, or upsize from basket to cart. A few designated spots with baskets would make the experience that much better, and make it easier to buy more!

A 5 star for giving me the most organized Marshalls and decently huge space to shop! They have everything ranging from women to men’s clothing , shoes, jackets, creams, conditioners, bags and even children clothes and shoes. The staff here is very sweet and helpful !! They also at times have a good clearance to different home decor items like wall paintings and wall clocks. I bought pair of under armour running shoes for 59$ and a huge wall clock for 30$ plus the taxes made it upto 110$!! Shoe brands available- crocs, new balance , under armour, adidas, Nike and a lot of winter Pajar shoes are there!!! I love the shoes I bought ! For skin they have sale on Clinique, esee, and most of the Sephora brands!! You must visit this store if in downtown to explore what you love I’m sure you’ll end up buying something. Plus this is elevator accessible , has parking and has the most unique electronic items like instant pot and kitchen pans.

I love Marshalls, including this location - it's one of my favourite stores for its one-stop shopping and ever-changing, beautiful selection. However, I am sorry to post this one-star review as, while shopping there just a couple of days ago, I happened upon REAL FUR leopard coats and other REAL FUR coats from other animals. This is unacceptable. It is 2018 and we have the capability to make every kind of synthetic material under the sun. We hear all the time about how we are harming the environment, how so many animals are ENDANGERED and going EXTINCT, and what we can do to help. What we SHOULD NOT do is buy or sell REAL FUR. I am appalled that a store that I normally love and trust would accept these real animal products into its stock. Leopards should be PROTECTED, NOT WORN. Marshalls should not support the fur trade; this is unnecessary and cruel.

I visit this store often because its close to my home and conveniently located. after COVIT I don't see they have that much collection like other store but I still like go visit and occasionally get something I want to buy. Today's visit was good as well in terms of what we wanted and got. The cash line was smoothly running but the casher was not friendly neither he said Hi or buy and he even didn't ask me if I have loyalty card or not. He didn't tell me to insert/tab the card just kept quite and I thought he is still scanning. later he just showed me the display how much I have to pay. The Manager or supervisor was busy but when I was returning the cart he took it from me which was nice. The good part is the store is always neat and clean.

.... Her/She name CANDENCE.... works @thehomesense store went in that said store on Monday trying to find a product i had trouble finding. I was looked after by CANDENCE /She/Her so wonderfully!!! at the end of the transaction - for all my troubles CANDENCE/She/Her made it possible for me to have received a complimentary gift card from the homesense - the backstory is that i had just finished @princess margaret and was having a rough go at it - unbeknownst to anyone CANDENCE/Her/She act of kindness helped tremendously!..... Thanks so much.... Y'alls should go to this store!... Additionally - the place is clean organized amazing staff right vibes and beautiful ❤️ thngs..... 'YOU SHOULD GO'

Visited the store on Friday February 15, 2019 at 6:30pm. There was no one on the floor. I walked around the whole store. The cashiers seem to be the only persons working. Went to the cashiers and no one was paying attention. (Anyone could have walked behind the registers and they wouldn’t have noticed) I decided to leave then I finally saw one woman leave the cashier arear. Called out to her 3 times and she ignored me. I know she ignored me because the third time she looked at me then continued doing what she was doing. For a store that big and without an E-Commerce site, they need to have more people available to talk customers. That’s really bad customer service.

Marshalls Marshall is considered one of the largest clothing stores in Toronto. It has many sections that allow you the freedom to shop and many choices that you are looking for. If you use the elevator, you press on the third floor to find a section for household appliances and everything your home needs, and then you divide one of the largest sections in the store, which is a section Clothes will limit clothes for women, children and travelers, as well as their own shoes and different prices, and there are some discounts on some products, and there is also a section for cosmetics and children’s toys. The place lacks the availability of free internet

Fantastic selection of home goods and beautifully spacious. However, the staff I encountered were very cold, uninviting, and snappish when I asked for help to find an item. (And this also happened during my past visits to this particular location. Maybe the management team isn't fostering a welcoming work culture?) There's numerous other Winners, Homesense, and Marshalls in downtown with the friendliest staff. I still love this particular location for it's wide and diverse selection of items, but I've just come to a point where I won't bother asking the staff for help. I'll just keep my headphones in and enjoy the store's offerings.

This is a very large Marshalls. Plenty of space inside. There are also many home decor items in addition to clothing. We dropped by as my wife wanted to buy something for herself and our 6 year old daughter. While we were waiting for her, my daughter and I got a chance to explore the rest of the store. It’s big enough to find Pokémon in Pokémon GO if that’s what entertains your kids (and yourself). We my wife was finished (almost an hour later), she was surprised how long it was to walk to the check out counter. Overall, we’d come here again.

Enjoyed shopping here. Big store. Lots of selection at affordable prices. Always check the sale racks first and be patient. You will find some gems. Also prepare to spend some time so eat before shopping! LOL!! The staff are okay: busy arranging and re-arranging so they may seem in a rush when responding to you. The store is clean and bright. The changing rooms are nicely sized. You have 4 hooks in the changing room that let you hang clothes according to whether you will buy now, later, next time. That's a cute feature :)

Great selections for clothes, home decorations, cosmetic utensils, baby clothes and accessories. The service is outstanding, employees who smile will go far in life, you feel good with what you purchased. It's very open spaced, the paint choice gives Marshalls a bright uplifting feeling while you shop or browse, employee's are always free to help even when busy however respect their time. Recommended to anyone for a great shopping experience.

This place is massive, full of useful (and wantful) items. I spend too much time here for the amazing deals on footwear, cookware, and some clothing items that I always find at super low prices. If you come every few weeks you'll find something you love in your size and at a great price. It's clean, has washrooms, changerooms, mirrors all over the place, and it's big enough to not get crowded!

I love this Marshalls! They have a great selection of pretty much everything. I usually shop for furniture, art, and home decor and I'm impressed with the amount of product they have. Their manager Peter is a gentleman, and goes out of his way to provide excellent customer service. The staff follows his steps and are helpful, friendly, and very accomodating. I highly recommend shopping there!

Located on the third floor of a condo tower this location has plenty of selection and fair prices. Clothing, accessories and loads of items for your home. My most recent visit (during covid) yielded a slim selection on most things. The store seemed very covid safe and clean with friendly staff. A good location overall and I'm sure will carry more stock when things get back to normal.

This is actually a very nice little shopping area. It must be new since I don't remember it here before, but the quality of products is high and the cleanliness, staff and location were great. Was quite a decent size Marshall's and Home sense. Definitely worth it to stop in and take a look. Will definitely be back in the future. 5/5. Follow me for more reviews photos and tips!

Good prices, wide selection. Bought a couple of jackets from there that are good for fall (don't know if I would trust them for winter, though). They have a good selection of clothes and accessories, and even a random assortment of household stuff thrown about. They don't usually repeat stuff, so if you really like something you should get it; you might not see it again.

I recently visited this location and enjoyed my shopping experience until I noticed that Marshalls was selling genuine leopard fur coats as well as other animal fur coats. It was very disappointing to see that in this day and age where animal extinction is constantly in the news, that this type of garment would be sold. It really is not necessary and very heartbreaking.

Very nice location. I prefer visiting Marshalls as opposed to the winners down the street. Marshalls is less crowded and seems to have a larger selection in everything. I'm especially a huge fan of their art supplies. The art supplies are tucked in a corner (easy to miss) but they have a good size selection of paints, canvases, sketchbooks etc.

This store used to be very nice , people who work there looked happy. Seem like now things have changed. Saw a new manager there name don. Not sure if he was having a bad day but very rude guy, no smile. Was talking rudely to his employees too. No wonder people who work there dont look happy anymore. Otherwise the store is nice and clean.

Awesome location for buying brands you don't get to see in other Marshall locations. I picked up few Versace Collection and Roberto Cavalli t shirts which were in the range of $35 to $70. In the boutique stores and online these shirts sell from $250 to $350. They have a huge collection of shoes and clothes for men and women.

Compared to Winners at Yonge and College, Marshalls is a much better experience. The store is spacious and well staffed. And because it is not on the ground floor, the store is not nearly as crowded. Even the shoppers there are nicer and more courteous. And both stores have the same price for everything.

Always well organized, fully stocked wth the best selection of items with a team of friendly and very helpful staff. Shout out and a very grateful thank you to Athena who went out of her way to find my favourite fur scarf that I lost while shopping. Mucho gracias & happy holidays …

In general, even Marshall and Winner are from the same corporation. Marshall always has better things and more variety. This one located near the College Subway Station. This store always has good quality stuff at a good price and is very accessible to someone who does not have a car.

I am regular costumer at Marshalls on Yonge Street. I find really good deals there. However, since a few weeks ago there is no WASHROOMS available for costumers!!! If you need to use the washrooms you can use the one at Ikea….come on….Please, allow costumers to use the washrooms.

Great location, great products, and great prices. What else can you really ask for from the store like this? I believe that if you're looking for something and you're not really in the budget range of buying the product from its original store this one is your go-to location.

This Marshalls is the best Marshalls I have ever been at! Everything in my closet ispace from there. The staff are nice and I always find the best things from there! They have the cutest birthday/holiday cards for a reasonable price. My hubby likes the things I find there.

I love looking in this Marshalls. It is well organized, clean and open. The change rooms are big and clean, although some rooms are too hot from the lighting, (best to use the wheelchair room). I always find bargains here, either clothes, footwear, home goods or food.

I go there almost every other week. It is my favorite Marshall in Toronto. Unlike the Winners up the street you have space to move around it is usually less busy. The women bag section and the home one are the stand out in my opinion. The staff is very friendly too.

Out of all thew winners/ marshalls in the area this one's one of the best. Very large selection of shoes, loads of clothes and different things that you'd find in a normal winners. If you usually buy shoes from winners check out this one they have a huge selection

I'm one of those people who always seems to have good luck with Marshalls, Winners, Home Sense, etc. It helps to be flexible and buy for your style rather than go in for a particular item, which could easily become frustrating in this type of retail environment.

Same as winners if you're happy with clothing made exclusively for them at a lower quality so they can sell it cheaper okay but I'm tired of buying things that don't last even though they said Calvin Klein on them and they were not made by Calvin Klein.

Wonderful employees and managers are working at this store. I have lost my wallet there. They have been very helpful, found and kept my wallet and returned it to me. They are very honourable people and I wish to thank them from the bottom of my heart!

I think its the nicer less busy version of winners with prices that are more or less the same. There is a great selection of men's shirts and you can often find blue jays t shirts or captors shirts at half the price than the jays shop or real sports.

By far the best Marshalls in Toronto. I have found that over the years, both Winners and Marshalls have really gone down hill when it comes to their inventory, however this location is still going strong. A great selection of home decor as well.

One of the best Marshalls and Home Senense in GTA I have ever seen. Big store with a good variety of stuff. Very nice and helpful staff.very good location downtown. The only concern is the parking. I highly recommend this location.

I came here to shop but immediately after a couple of steps into the store security followed me for no reason and was just harassing me. I won't shop here again! With stores like this, I would rather save my hard earned money!

A very nice place to shop for all the housewares and decos you need. Besides, sneakers and fashionable shoes are in good deals. We got a pair of Koolaburra by UGG kid’s boots in almost half price. My daughter just loves it!

Hated my experience at this store. Security guard kept running into me like really dude. Go follow someone else, because what I make at work in a week. Is your one month salary. The cashiers were very pleasant, as always.

I found this place when I asked a staff in Collage winners for a yoga towel. It is a great place for shopping. It is clean, big with proper lighting that makes my shopping experience better than other places.

Large Marshalls located on the 3rd floor of the shops at Aurora. Because of the area there are typically lots designer brands at this location and lots of turnover. New stuff every day. Great shoe selection.

Overall a good place to shop but I had an unpleasant experience with an employee making a return. She was quite hostile and accusatory and will only buy things here that I am sure I won't need to return.

Prices are wrongly attached to the goods. The manager of this store is a young, Ignorant , and rude. She even doesn't know how nicely talk to a customer. What a shame!

This location is great. The interior is full of light and the walking space is plenty, so you can really take your time to shop here without feeling claustrophobic.
