The cashier and her colleague were extremely rude. After I paid, she didn't fold my clothes or put them in the bag. Instead, she looked at me as if she expected me to do it myself. I asked, 'Aren't you going to fold them?' She replied, 'We don't touch your clothes after you've paid. We won't fold or bag them.' I questioned, "What do you mean you won't fold them?" She bluntly confirmed that she wouldn't. I was taken aback and asked to speak with the manager. She informed me that the manager wasn't available. I insisted that my clothes be folded and bagged properly. She took my jacket, crumpled it into a circle, and seemed utterly indifferent. I said, 'This isn't how you fold someone's new clothes; you're creating wrinkles.' I asked again for a manager, and she called over another cashier, who started shouting, 'How do you want me to fold it?' I replied calmly, 'Just fold it normally.' She became defensive and shouted, 'Don't talk to me like that!' I was shocked because I hadn't said anything disrespectful. I have high blood pressure, and this unnecessary confrontation elevated my stress levels, putting my health at risk. I came to the store for a pleasant shopping experience, not to have my blood pressure increased, be embarrassed, and have my evening ruined. Both employees were incredibly rude and disrespectful. I strongly advise against shopping at this store. My experience was horrendous.

I was surprised that this store and some other Winners/Marshall/Homesence stores using Artificial Intelligence Face Recognition to identify individuals identity and their private data (body information) without sharing with their customers. Facial recognition is a part of highly sensitive biometric information which can be used for variety of things without individuals aware of that. Police department are the right group of people in CANADA who might use this technology to provide public safety benefits such as helping solve serious crimes, locating missing persons and supporting national security objectives not shopping stores in Canada. They already have lots of cameras which protects their security. I'm wondering WHY this companies using this technology to get data from individuals and with whom do they share these private information? This is against the individual privacy and human rights in Canada. Does all your customers are aware of this technology? Of course, it is a good store with variety of things but in what price an individual (if knowing her/his value) can trust them to step in their place.

Horrible horrible customer service by the two cashiers that proceeded whispering in the corner and the manager that never even bothered coming over. Three of you wasted 30 minutes of my life and ruined my Sunday. Moreover, received amazing genuine help from young gentlemen that was helping me at the cash register and Elena that helped me when I was looking at a hat that was missing a tag. Will follow up with a complain tomorrow with Marshall’s/Winners corporate office when it opens on Monday. Furthermore, stay away from this location and don’t expect any rational help, and if you think of visiting the Marshalls location at Fairview Mall, turn around and please go somewhere else. Hope I could have helped future grief. Thank you and have an amazing day.

Why didn’t I know about this store sooner? The entrance is on the upper level, around the corner from TD Bank, where Sears used to be located. There are PLENTY of parking spots available. COVID screening is required outside the entrance. I scanned the provided code with my phone, and answered a few questions. Upon completion, I had to show the green checkmark to the store employee, before entry was permitted. This combined store is HUGE. I didn’t know where to start! I was looking specifically for beetroot powder, but took the time to browse around all the departments. The store is well stocked, and super clean. There were also plenty of cashiers, so check-out was a breeze. I will definitely have to return with my hubby!

It was my first visit to the store. Saturday night to be exact. The location is good and has easy accessibility. The store was huge, clean and well merchandised. The departments were fully stocked, except the Xmas section which was a little light in stock. Regardless, it’s understandable especially during the busy Xmas season. There was enough cashiers to manage the long lineup, 10 to 13 cashiers to be exact, and they were all working at the same time ! Cashing out a very long line was not at all an issue. The prices are also reasonable for most of the merchandise. My only advice is if anyone is planning to visit the store, try a weekday or an earlier time for the weekend.

I gave this department store three tries. Won’t try again. Overly huge store, lines at cash ridiculously long, disorganized store, and prices are not all that reasonable anyway. The time I spent to look for an item, finally found something not quite satisfactory but was going to just settle for it after such a long tiresome search, but then when I got to cash area! Forget it! Brought the item back where I got it from and got the heck out of there. Too time consuming, uncomfortable and stressful! Not worth it. I do find reasonable prices elsewhere (still hard to find) but in way less time than spent in this store.

Worst customer service ever! I went there with a gift receipt and the manager saw me before going to the cashier and followed me with ugliest attitude. Then, she told me my gift receipt does not belong to my shoes which I called my friend and confirmed. After that she returned the shoes with saying you can’t exchange it without actual receipt. She did not even care this was a gift how can I have the actual receipt. They probably do not understand the fundamental meaning of gift receipt. Anyway I am stuck with a shoe that doesn’t fit so I do not recommend this branch!

I’m a huge fan/shopper at Winners. This Marshalls has a comparable , typically large and varied selection of small items in the Homesense area; little to choose from in linens- bedcovers, towels etc. A large selection of women’s shoes, particularly in larger sizes. The Women’s clothing section is wanting in selection, and the racks aren’t labeled as to contents (as at Winners), are quite messy, and need staff maintenance. On a Friday at 1pm there were 27 (!) people ahead of me in the checkout line with only 2 cash registers open.

I want to express my deep appreciation for Manvi, the remarkable store cashier at the counter. She is a humble girl who wears spectacles. One memorable instance that truly showcased her expertise and dedication was when I had a rather intricate request involving multiple gift cards with varying balances and some product returns. Manvi handled the transactions skillfully and with incredible patience, ensuring that I left the store completely satisfied. I'm incredibly thankful for her remarkable assistance

BEWARE! Don't let the workers put stuff in your car. The worker Shayan put a chair in my car because it was too heavy for me and shoved it in the car before I could say anything and scratched the tint off my window as well as a deep scratch in my side window. When I told him he scratched it, he just walked away. I told the manager of the store and she said it's not her problem, to call customer service. She even tried to blame it on me. Really terrible experience and terrible manager.

I am always a fan of HomeSense/Marshalls/Winners, specially when they replenish the shelves with unique and cute decorations and kitchen accessories. Nowadays, they're more busy and the checkout lineup is much longer since we're getting closer to Christmas and everyone is either buying gifts or decorating their homes. The plus point is that they have extended their return policy to first week of January for the purchases from November 1st till Christmas Day.

I really loved this location due to it having so many more options and choices, this location was Avery busy doe to this store being in the mall plus it was on a Saturday, alot of great sales and more sales in the clearance section, great quality choices. I would most definitely go back to this location due to their sales. It was a little busy but worth going and shopping here, because you get 2 stores in this location at once, which was really nice.

  • Tula A.

I normally like this store but, yesterday this particular location I found it very crowded with racks all over the place with clothes on sale, people just being so sloppy with letting things fall on the floor with the hangers and it was so difficult to get around to shop and look at the merchandise. Didn't see any employee around to keep things in order.....A very dissatisfied shopping day.

  • S CAI

Love this Marshall location! It's located on the upper level of the mall where the old Sears used to be. Very spacious, tidy and clean. Great collection of trendy and brand name clothes, accessories, footwear and all the home needs at reasonable prices. Very friendly customer service! Busy in the weekend, lineups for the cashiers check out a bit slow. Overall a great shopping experience!

  • David Petrie

Went looking for relatively inexpensive running shoes and am happy to say I found them here (after 30 minutes looking at other stores whose idea of inexpensive is $90). The store is fairly well organized. Shoes are grouped by gender and size, and what you see is what you get, but the selection was pretty good. Overall, I am very happy with this store and experience.

Marshalls & Home Sense @ Fairview Mall, North York Toronto ON, super convenient location at 401 & Don Valley exit, from TTC - Don Mills station. Many parking spaces in the Mall. Big + tidy + clean shop. Wide collection of clothes + accessories + footwear + kitchenware + decorations at reasonable price. Nice +friendly stuff! Recommended!

  • Aluchi Del Pasado

This Marshall is very spacious and is located inside the Fairview Mall. The place used to be SEARS before they closed down its Canadian operation more than a decade ago. The standard of running the business is well carried across it's different locations, and for sure it carries a wide variety of everything one might need.

  • E Sayed

It’s a nice decent store of Marshall’s I personally like the one at Yonge street downtown but this one isn’t very less. They have a lot of options too including clothes, shoes, outfits and bags. It’s a bit far for me since I’m a downtown place. They have food home decor stuff too . You need to check the clearance section

  • Riz

This is an awesome store to get brand-name clothes and shoes for a reasonable price, but collection is very limited for male compared to the female section. Also, they have a great home decor section. But the checkout line can get extremely long, moves in a snail pace, so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry.

  • Mike B

The store looked like a bomb went off in certain sections when I visited in January. There was a lack of selection, half filled shelves, and a lot of products seemed to be opened (i.e. shoplifted) as well. Very sad. Must be due to the high traffic being in a shopping mall with little staff walking the floors...

  • Tazin Barna

I am fan of this store. Great collection. Lots of gift items. I bought few gifts for Christmas and holidays. And today I bought this giant water bottle that I have been looking for some time. Good price and great quality. This store is very busy. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Parking available right outside.

  • A Person

This is a big store with lots of merchandise selections, lots of shoppers, lots of mess and chaos, and LONG lineups to pay. The staff are friendly and helpful...if you can find them. There a mall entrance and an entrance to the parking lot but you'll likely have to park far from the entrance because it's busy.

  • Sissi Juan

The line was super long because the cashiers was super slow, no smile and with rude attitude. They don't have plastic bags and didn't bother to tell customer before paying. Very disappointed at this place. if you are not able to properly train your staffs, I strongly suggest to install self check outs.

  • RSH DVP

Everything you need to level up your home or wardrobe. Good deals on household items, clothes, shoes, furniture, art, carpets, stationary and so much more. Inside Fairview Mall with its own hours and separate entrance. Lots to see, touch and discover here. Free parking and access to TTC transit nearby.

  • K W

2023 August 3★ While the store is fairly big, you do have to becareful of the products as some can be damaged with so many customers in the store. Lots of variety given the size of the store. Inside Fairview Mall, so definitely easy access and plenty of parking. Though might be limited during weekends.

  • No pain No Gain

Today I had a bad experience in this store as the Asian girl is so dry of her service to me. I felt she was racist toward me and my color. I will never ever go to this store again. Teach your employees how to deal with people from different backgrounds or you're gonna end up closing by the ministry!!!

  • Leonardo Mariano

This is my favorite store in Canada. Lots of products with a very fair price. Once this is a out of season shop you may not find what you want when you want, but keep trying and sometime it will appear in a way or another. If you find something you really like, go for it!! It won't be there next time.

  • Ramon Cadenas

It's good, I like that you can find a very different kinds of things, clothes, shoes, decorations, toys, frames, small furniture, pillows and cushions, bed cover, etc, etc and the price usually is acceptable. Some clearance and sales. Inside the mall but with direct external access if you prefer.

  • Shahram Shams

Wide variety of well known brands with a good discount and fair price . However, most of the time it's hard to find what you are looking for. Also there are not all sizes or colors available. You need to go there regularly and always prior to the season that you are going to buy for. …

  • W L

I am so thrilled there's finally a Winners/Marshalls/Homesense near me! Its a pretty big location and offers a lot of selection. Especially their beauty collection. Lots of great and reasonable priced products! The store is also very clean and tidy with lots of space to maneuver around.

  • Gracia Trillana

Hi, just wanna give a great review for one of the best customer service I’ve had. One of the staff “Mihir” is really good and very helpful. I forgot the name of the cashier with the short hair. She’s very helpful as well. Goodluck and thank you very much! ❤️❤️ …

  • Robert Ingram

A big shoutout to Wayne! You rock! His energy fills the huge store. He is helpful, and has a great sense of humour. In general, I enjoy this location a lot more than the other nearby locations. I find the lines move at an average speed even when it starts to snake.

  • Mavis F

Just had the best service at the cash from Wayne! So pleasant, polite and helpful! I needed an item price checked and he got that done promptly and wrapped all my stuff nicely in my bag, sending me off with a big smile! He deserves a big raise and promo!!

  • Alvira Khattak

High rating for a very poorly run location. Managers are rude just like the cashiers. Not sure why the checkout is on the mall side only. Cashiers need to do their job not tell me I'm buying a lot of an much needed item. Looks more like a thrift shop.

  • Thisa Pak

Visited this location and all the shelves were fully stocked. I had a great experience overall. Mohammed, a representative on the floor helped me to find and measure some specific items and was very patient and helpful. Great experience overall!

  • Metal Tiger

Selection of clothing items is far from what it used to be just 2 years ago. Extremely few brand name or other qualty items available. Winners is no better. These stores carry pretty much the same merchandise. Hardly worth visiting these days.

  • Patricia B

Thank you, Nida and Margaret in Women's fashion and the fitting room, for helping me find a perfect Karl Lagerfeld blazer. Really helps to have opinions from other women when shopping alone. Really appreciated your friendly advice!

  • kavita ubale

Very messy would I go back yes cuz there's nowhere else to go customer service was okay they need to step up their game everything is all over the place it's an organized nothing is in the right please do …

  • SUNDEEP MOHNOT

A big place. Very tempting offers. Readers put your credit card on unlimited expense. Awesome. The staff was helpful as I wanted a office bag for laptop and files. Got a Bugatti. Bought other stuff as very good offers.

  • Zaynab M

I love homesense and Marshalls and I am so happy they opened one in this mall Only downside:the cash line in Marshalls is always so crowded whenI go at weekends, sometimes I decide not to buy the item and leave

  • James L

A huge Marshall’s Home Sense location with a lot of everything fro clothing to art to furnishings. We’ll organized and lots of staff around. The variety of items here is much better than most I have been in.

  • Sarah Ragoonath

Great selection for Homesense items as well as clothing. Tip: unlike Winners, Marshall's displays all sale or clearance items together with regular priced items on the run (directly on racks or shelves).

  • Francis Cheung

Mid size department store located in a popular shopping Center in midtown. Ample parking. Various items including shoes, candy, and clothing. Prices are reasonable but a long line up for the cashier.

  • Basshunter 745

I love Marshalls & HomeSense. I always come here to buy clothes, bed sheets, cooking pots, toys, and skincare products. The prices are reasonable, however there is always a long line at the cashier.

  • D Castro

Absolutely the worst place for men's clothes. It's almost comical how terrible the selection is. I think they have 7 total racks of men's everything. Meanwhile, about 700 racks of women's stuff.

  • Sharry Budd

I'm on the fence. Some very nice things here bit never in my size. The gifts are good, big selection as is the bakeware. Tad expensive but items get marked down quite quickly.

  • Wendy Leung

We came to shop for some clothing. If you're looking for some souvenirs of Canada, this is the place to go. It's much cheaper than the shops you find at the Pearson airport.

  • Dennis T

If you're looking for housewives, this is the place to find them. Come between the hours of 11 and 2 for best selection! The store's selection of inventory isn't bad either!

  • L. Yannick D.

There is so much selection in this store from clothes, shoes, food, pots, Calendars and furniture. The staff is always very helpful and it's very clean as well ad orderly.

  • M J

One young lady didn't know what she was doing. It was super crowded. But the cashier just ruined the experience. Maybe she was new. She didn't know how to use a gift card.

  • priyadharshini nagendra

My favorite store where u can get all sorts of stuff from clothing to jewelry, make up ,decorations etc. I love to shop here as you get brand name items for half the price

  • Sharon De Souza

Pretty nice place to shop for ladies clothes. Wish they had more popping colors though. But I am very satisfied that regardless the color, they have up to 3XL in clothes.

  • Lynn Miller

This store gives you the shopping experience of a WalMart. The store is huge yet manages to have less selection than any other HomeSense I've been in. I won't be back.

  • Mira K

This store doesn't have the greatest selection. Seems that it is mostly cheap made in China products, hard to find gems. Otherwise, great use of the Sears space!

  • Rick Honeyford

I used to love Marshalls, you could really find some great deals. Maybe it's just this location but some of their prices didn't seem much like a discount store.

  • Oscar Fabiano

I don't know how that store could smell so bad. It's not once, every time I'm trying to give them a change is the same. Also, totally mess the shelves.

  • Anna Enenajor

Great selection of a variety of products. Free parking. If you don't drive, subway is a few meters away. They have started bringing out winter items!!

  • Irena Tatomir

Very good prices. Nice stuff. The prices for home sense are big now. Nice store. You can find a lot of good quality stuff there. …

  • Lady Lexyluxy

Love this location. Easy to access, spacious, clean and courteous service. There are lots of good things here for gifts, home and yourselves.

  • snoopy snoops

Men hate it, women love it. Long lineups at the checkout, and keeps moving. It's really a hit or miss, in my experience it's mostly a miss.

  • S B

If you want to see some real-time sloths come to this store’s checkout counters. The slowest possible service you can ever imagine. …

  • Rosanna L.

One of my favourite Homesense locations, it has a wide selection and no empty/bare shelves. I almost always pick up some good finds there!

  • nafis habibi

I'm a fan of this store. It's big, tidy and clean with plenty of free parking. You can always find good stuff with good prices there.

  • Lizzy H

One of my fav places to shop for grocery items and home decor I find this location has more home decor ? Not so much grocery items

  • Denise Simek

I like there are cashiers and more then , and that way you don't change your mind while waiting to pay , also like it's off line

  • Rebecca Kraus

Was a great location in the past but now suffers from lack of choice. You can still find something nice on occasion if you dig.

  • JASON PARSONS

Always love shopping here looking for that great deal on something you find or need. Especially when it's on clearance.

  • Ricky Wong

My favorite store for general shopping, they have a good selection of brand name products with reasonable price
