This bakery was recommended to us by our dear friend. We ordered a durian cake ahead of time for my mom's birthday. When we picked it up, they gave us a fruit cake and the lady said her husband can't read what was written on the order sheet as it was written in English. She wanted us to take the fruit cake instead because that's all they got at that time. We explained that we specifically ordered durian cake. So she told us to wait for half an hour so they could make it. We told them we couldn't wait because we have somewhere else to go to. Then she said 15 minutes, her husband will make it from scratch. We can't risk being late to our next appointment as it was across the city. We ended up canceling and buying cake somewhere else. We did not receive any apology from them and felt as if it was our fault for not being able to wait. If I could give it 0 star, I would. Never coming back here again.

Always delicious, just make sure you bring cash. I've been going here since I was a little kid, and I have no idea how people can complain about delicious savory and sweet baked goods that are only $1-2. For people that haven't been to a Chinese bakery before, spend $20, try a bunch of new and exciting desserts and buns and I can guarantee you that your will fall in love with at least one of there offerings.

Ordered an egg-free birthday cake for a friend. I was unable to make it on time for pick-up but they stayed 45 minutes late to wait for me. The service is exceptional, the owner's are very kind and the cake is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend. I will have to go back for some of their smaller desserts... From reading the other reviews, they must be really great!

Worst bakery ever. I ordered a cake they didnt make the way I wanted. 70% of the cake was cream, 10% fruit and 10% plain cake. I felt like I am eating just cream not a cake. In addition the stuff dont understand English at all. It was a tiny cake with only cream and high price with pay only cash option. Overall, my birthday was spoiled. Never going back again.

My childhood revolved around this bakery. My go to pastry would be the coconut buns and the peanut snowballs. I recently wanted to order the mango cake but unfortunately the mangoes weren't ripe yet so I got the fruit cake instead. It was definitely a hit! The only downside is that the prices have gone up :(

I have been to a number of Chinese bakeries in a lot of different cities. This will always be my favourite! Best winter melon pastries hands down! And we love the vanilla cake with fruit cocktail filling! My husband loves the coconut buns, and the mango cake is a delicious and refreshing treat!

Cake never tasted so good! It had the right amount of sugar and was well decadent with fruits on the top.Went there for the very first time and I phoned in the order and they did an excellent job. Only downside is that they only accept cash. But I will definitely go there again.

Why is the old lady always in a bad mood? I've been here for 4 times so far and today was the worst visit. The lady was so rude with loud voice speaking her own language with angry face, slamming the door. The cake tastes good though.

The best Chinese bakery in Winnipeg. I would highly recommend their mooncake which they have during their mid-autumn festival. I’ve enjoyed their snowballs, coconut buns, coconut tart, cake rolls and egg tarts. They only accept cash.

Their products are nt good, the raisin bread taste like raw flour and sponge cake taste weird. The green bean with salty egg taste like garbage. Not good! Also, inconvenient that they do not even accept debit cards.

Bring back the chicken bun, please! The other buns are great, but that one was always my favorite! I don't care if it ends up being priced a little more expensive than the other buns; I'd still pay for it!

Always order my families birthday cakes from here - a childhood classic for me. Their cakes are so good and all baked buns and egg tarts are priced well! They only except cash though.
