McGirts Creek Regional Park offers a mix of amenities, including ball fields and a relatively large playground. Unfortunately, during my visit, I noticed several maintenance issues that need attention. The playground is in need of tidying up, with downed limbs, branches, and leaves scattered around. Additionally, the equipment has a broken slide and is covered in mold and fungus, raising safety concerns. While restrooms are available, I cannot comment on their condition as I didn't use them. On a positive note, there are covered shelters, grills, and plenty of bench seating throughout the park. However, the presence of scattered trash debris is disappointing. Given these concerns, I'm hesitant to return to McGirts Creek Regional Park until these problem areas are addressed.

The park overall seems really nice; however, we had to cancel our baseball game because there were so many fire ants on the field. And I can only assume it was the same across the park, especially since soccer practices were putting dozens of cones on the field to identify fire ant hills. I was told that the city does not want or will not allow for the field to be treated because it is bad for the environment of some sort.

Awesome paved walking trails that run through a wooded area and open spaces with two huge ponds with ducks and geese. The woods are not very thick and you can see through them, which made me feel more safe. Playground equipment next to bathrooms and water fountain. Bring your own t.p. Baseball fields and a community center. Overall pretty clean but the walkways don't appear to have been blown off for several weeks.

My kids and I love this park! I only gave it 5 stars because the bathrooms are not kept clean and is absolutely disgusting when we have gone there a couple times and they need to keep the garbage picked up there as well. Its a great oart for visitors and would be even better if more cleaning went into it to make it look more presentable.

You can tell this would be a great playground despite being a little weathered, had to do some cleaning up first before my child could play with empty mini liquor bottles littering the ground amongst other generic trash. Has a good basketball court and plenty of field space for other sports as well

This park was obviously very professional and well-kept. It was clean, the rules were being properly enforced, and there was a center. The restrooms were also safe and clean. I'd recommend for any park burthday party or barbeque. …

This is a hugh park playground & swings for kids two ponds ppl fish here. A beautiful nature trail all concrete, exercise equipment all around the trail. If you play Pokemon Go their is 22 Pokestops & 3 gyms. Ducks to feed, rabbits ect....

Nice, large park that is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. They have a playground, basketball court, a few baseball fields, a walking trail, and I even saw they had a summer camp program in the main building. Really nice!

Huge park, softball fields, basketball court, playground, sidewalks, ample parking, benches, pavilions, nice walking trails and great for families. I just go exercise but really enjoy it.

It's a great place to fly RC Planes. Huge open area and two football size fields worth of short green grass for take off and landing. Even has ponds for water take off and landing.

Park has nice fields and an exercise loop. Earlier in the day there are less people there. Be careful going out by yourself as it gets dark.

It was nice and cool today and it wasn't that many people in the park so there's one who's for the kids to play on their swings

I go running here when I'm in town, haven't been beaten, robbed or killed here yet. Also very clean and maintained.

Could use some garbage picked up around in about but other than that it's really nice place to go walking
