I was assaulted by the kcmo ambulance department because kcpd called an ambulance due to medical reasons. The department lied on the reports and after complaining about the excessive force used the investigation was dismissed claiming nothing wrong was done. I was assaulted in front of the Kansas City police department and they did nothing but treated me a patient, like a suspect. It was ridiculous and I never seen or heard nothing like this in my life. The KCPD has poor customer service and lies on reports to coverup their use of excessive force and when they assault people. The ambulance worker was kneeing me in the stomach and I am a young black female. He was a white male who was much larger then me. All of this occurred while KCPD had me in handcuffs and I was on the ground. Some of these people in this department is racist. It is the sad truth. The KCPD has surveillance footage of the entire incident and refused to review the tape to prove my claims of being assaulted and that they lied on the reports.

I really hope that no one has to work with Ms. Cage. I have only called non-emergency police one other time in my life a couple years ago when I heard gunshots near my previous home in midtown. This morning, 7/1/19 approx 9:00am, I made a call to request patrol on my street due to a personal reason. After just 2 minutes of conversation, she thought that she put me on hold but I heard her proceed to talk about me with her coworkers and tell them that she believes that I have a mental disorder. Then she hung up on me. I am at a loss. I wanted to utilize the "resources" available to me during a time that called for it. I am very disappointed and I feel incredibly judged. I wanted to share because she needs some additional training in professionalism, or a new job altogether. -1000000 stars

Our car was in an extremely indirectly marked area for 1 hr longer than it should have been. Apparently, the city can’t fix the roads but they have enough time and $ for cheap and unfair tow jobs. My fiancé’s purse and phone was in that car when it was taken. It’s too late now to get the car and her personal belongings back, until the AM. A message for KC MO proper, from a citizen that wanted to live in KC MO, but won’t now, PLEASE spend your efforts on accrediting the schools and fixing the roads/infrastructure. You will get more revenue from that, as opposed to taking advantage of those that have worked and lived in the area. A true disgrace. Involved in a hit and run and they were unwilling to do anything. Had to do my own investigation to get anything done. Takes 10 to 20 days just to file a report. Wish I could put a zero star rating on this review. Can’t believe that tax dollars are paying these people’s salaries.

Watching yet another Police Department that can't do their job. Thankfully there are good people who listen and help. And they didn't even need to complete 6 months of training or a badge to honor their oath to humanity. Shame on your Department. We see you!!!

Just got pulled over for driving infraction. Police officer was so nice and cordial. I appreciate his attitude. People are to quick to spit on law enforcement. I'm a young black Male and appreciate the officer

One of the officers volunteered their time and came and talked to 6 different groups on 6 different dates about safety and self defense. These guys are awesome. Can't thank them for their personal time.

Garbage department, don’t recommend at all. Other precincts are better or raytown pd. They pull you over for nothing and search for any reason to detain you for about 45 minutes to an hour

On hold for 30 mins when calling 911 and by the time they answer the phone and get someone out to help situation has escalated and someone is dead and the thief or murderer disappears
