BE WARNED⚠️ TERRIBLE SERVICE !!! STAFF BEHAVIOUR DIFFICULT !!! NOT HELPFUL OR FRIENDLY !!! I was ignored by 2 out of 3 workers. I produced Authentic Certificate & was rung 2days later to say it was not M.H so had to email my Certificate. White gold bracelet link broke, old man said my lifetime M.H plan was not covered in Australia & I would have to send it to N.Z or pay out of pocket, he got sarcastic when I said, I will inquire as I was told the cover is world wide. NZ store confirmed I was correct & recommended to go to another store, write a review & ring M.H head office to complain, which I am doing!!! No wonder this store is always empty when I go past . To the staff, you all look miserable, none of you smile, none of you are approachable & it is quite clear you are waiting for your retirement as it's too late for career change. You're all a disgrace to customer service.

Was refused service at this store for a ring clean on my $10,000 engagement ring purchased from Michael Hill. 3 staff members at this store looked at my ring and told me to ask my partner if it was actually purchased at Michael Hill as this isn’t a ring design they sell and there was no stamping. My fiancé was in the shopping centre so I phoned him to attend store. He attended the store and they wanted to see paperwork/receipt. Upon phoning the Michael Hill store purchased through, we were advised that they could’ve looked up the purchase on their system to verify. We went into the store in which my fiancé purchased from today and was shown clearly the stamping which states “Sir Michael Hill” along with the serial number of the ring. In all the years of my purchases with Michael Hill this would have to be by far the worst store I’ve attended.

Unfortunately when I went in to look at an engagement ring with my partner, I was first shown a $6k ring (without asking my budget first). Once I made it clear that a $6k ring was out of my price range, and that there really wasn't anything there at my price point, even though I'd seen many things online that would have suited. Due to having larger hands I was made to feel like they were huge and would cost me the world to have a ring my size. After being shown a beautiful set and falling in love with it, I decided to go to another Michael Hill to see if I could talk to someone who didn't make me feel too poor or too big to be in the store. Thankfully I met the sweetest saleswoman at Loganholme Michael Hill who went above and beyond for me and my partner and I felt content and happy buying from her the very next day.

The customer service I received in the store was excellent. I was looking for a 21st gift for my step-daughter. Annie was super friendly and helpful, I finally settled on a letter necklace. The specific letter I needed wasn't in stock and Annie called nearby stores, then placed it on order for me when it wasn't available. The lead time wasn't going to be great, but to be fair I had left the purchase way too late. Then 3 days later I got a call saying that Annie had tracked one down in Albury / Wodonga and had had it shipped up to the store. Talk about surprise and delight!!! This is the type of customer service that will make me come back again and again. Thank you so much :-)

Rachel at Michael hill garden city is amazing ❤️ I’ve had a very bad experience with Michael hill In Sydney and try to fix it for 3 years but I couldn’t , finally month a ago I went there to show my sister something else then a man call Grant came to me and I open up my experience and he introduced me to a manager of store beautiful Rachel and she listened attentively and she is not help us she also try so hard to make us happy Now i definitely have such a amazing experience with Michael hill I love you so much Rachel and I wish all the best of your life and big thanks to Grant he’s now work in Brisbane city store Johnny & Negin

Staff were friendly except for Scott (who I believe to be the manager) I was talking with a staff member about my necklace that had broken for the 5th time in as many months and they now wanted me to pay for it (only 5 months old) and he rudely jumped in and overtook the conversation and accused me of being at fault for their lack of quality repairs…. When I responded to him he rolled his eyes and walked out the back. In less than a day it’s broken again and I don’t feel comfortable to return to the store at the risk of him being there and accusing me of not caring for my goods again. All other staff are friendly and helpful!!!!!!

I ordered 2 rings (matching set to my engagement ring). I asked if the diamonds would match up at the back so all the rings looked the same and was told yes and that they needed to order them in. We went to collect them and the rings didn't match up and didn't sit right. Manager advised us that was all they could do and confirmed they were the matching bands. Fast forward to us visiting another Michael Hill and being informed they were in fact the wrong rings! We also may now not be getting the rings in time for the wedding as they have to order the correct rings. Do not go to Mt Gravatt for important jewelry!

Multiple staff give the wrong information and can't even size a finger properly, and then say they can't do anything because it's policy that rings made to order can't be refunded even though it was their staff incompetence and errors. After spending a lot of money at this store, and recommending friends here only because of one very nice & helpful staff member, now I won't be wasting any more of my money here and will be telling my friends to no longer waste their money here thanks to the poor management and other incompetent and uneducated staff !

Staff are friendly although does feel like they are pushing for a sale. I was here recently trying to replace a ring that was purchased at MH many years ago. I wasn't expecting the same but was hoping for a similar style. Unfortunately, I didn't have much luck and felt staff member I was dealing with just wanted a sale so was pushing me to buy anything even if it wasn't what I was looking for. Some okay jewellery. Fairly inexpensive but also some items are extremely tacky. Honestly all in all it feels like where the bogans shop.

Would never set foot in this store again. A few years ago my brother was killed by his partner . After a few months of waiting to enter the crime scene and collect his belongings, we found engagement rings and the receipt which had a service plan attached to it. We took them back to the store to try and get a refund or store credit and after explaining to the manager were told it was past the date by a few days and there was nothing he would do for us. Most pathetic customer service ever experienced in my life.

Highly dont recommend buying from this brand. Staff are great very helpful to the best they can do. But make sure u read the fine print that doesn't get explained to u. Ask the return policy and read the fine print on the premium package they sell u with ur purchase. None of this was explained to me when I spent $6000 and now I have wasted my money. Learnt from my mistake and won't ever buy from michael hill ever again.

Great place to browse full range these days from tge cheapest to some of thr best jewellery about I bought a chain and cross to partner me in my lone challenging life Michael Hill certainly was able to supply goods that comfort my soul and deep Christian beliefs and gods principle that rewards outcasts and applies the hole of a neddle to those who covert wealth at any price

Rachel at the Michael Hill Garden City is amazing. She helped me and my fiancé pick my engagement and bridal band out and her service was OUTSTANDING. I’ve returned since to resize the ring- she remembered me months later by name. Would recommend anyone to go and see her at this store for all jewellery needs. Thank you again Rachel Tayla and Matt

Today I was served by the Lovely Kara, my mother and I were really impressed by the service we received! I had my ring cleaned for free and picked up some lovely pearl earring son sale will be back again...All the girls were so lovely it's nice to get the sort of customer service rarely seen or experienced in today's world

Just want to give a special mention to Rachel , She is the only jeweler i go see and that's all to her excellent customer service. I've bought engagement ring, necklaces, watches , rings and every time she provides the best service possible. Michael Hill you are fortunate you have a sales worker as good as her!

Annie and team at Garden city were absolutely amazing, so patient and friendly while making multiple purchases, strongly recommend this shop Also the lady at headoffice (who name escapes me) was absolutely fantastic(works for InsuranceDept) so helpful - Dont shop anywher else :)

Came to the store on a super busy Thursday night last week. Had three kids with me and the staff were super kind and considerate. Great range of options and was happy to negotiate the price with me. Great bargains and thumbs up for your customers service!!

Awesome service and the ring is great, partner loved it and has gotten alot of compliments. One problem was the spam text messages and emails after I made the purchase, made it very hard to keep the secret that I was going to propose . …

Friendly staff however I bought a size 'n' ring however when my fiance went to resize the ring it was a size 'm 1/2' as a result they might not be able to resize the ring. Very disappointing they gave me wrong size.
