This gym is up there with some of the best I've seen on a military base. Plenty of equipment, showers are hot, the sauna works most of the time and the pool is heated. It helps that they always have clean towels even during peak times. The staff is very friendly too.

Learned how to swim with the help of the wonderful staff in the gym. You can walk into Walmart, get what you need, use the machine to check and never say a word to the staff. But not this gym. It's not just the place and good equipment, the people make it better.

This location is smaller than the fitness center. If used at the right time, it allows for a cozy and focused workout. The really is not floor space so, those that want to do floor exercises or multiple movements with dumbbells are better

The pool was awesome! It is a 25 yard by 50 yard pool. When I went it was configured for a 25 yard lap swim. The pool does not have lane or deep/shallow water buoys, but it does have lines at the bottom of the pool for guided lap swims.

This Gym is far beyond better than the gym at mayport. From quality all the way to customer service! I feel very welcomed every single morning I enter and exit the gym. Love the staff there and definitely will continue to exercise there.

Base Leadership needs to be more proactive in repairs not 7 months to a year in repairing short falls in maintenance repairs i give 1 star in caring to maintain the gym steam room and sauna time its repaired something else is wrong

Very old and lacking equipment. Inside has a musty/rusty smell because the age of the building. Equipment in the very small weight room is covered in a rusty residue. I suggest going to the fitness center behind the gym instead.

Went for the sauna and steam room. They are under renovation. They don't have towels anymore, guests are now $5.00. The parking was great. Update April 4th 2023 sauna up, steam room is still down.

It was really cool and had a lot of cool equipment, including this sort of type escalvator thing which of course did get tiring over a while, but basically in all, it was a really nice place

I loved working out here. It had lots of up beat music that helped me focus. I would definitely come here again. This place was absolutely amazing. I loved it here.

Customer service window is the best, in my opinion. They greeted me as if I were VIP. Everywhere is clean, including the male restroom. Shalom …

They have a weight lifting area, cardio area, pool for swimming laps and water aerobics, basketball court, racquetball court, and hit/Trx room

It's a workout facility. That's about it. Figured a base of this size would have a decent gym. I'm a little disappointed.

Great gym, always clean, they open very early in the morning and they have all the equipment necessary to workout.

Not too busy during weekend. I gave 4 stars for helpful personnel, type of equipment available, and indoor pool.

Clean place, but no ac in the pool area, sometimes waiting for my sons classes to finish it would be pretty hot

They finally have wifi!!! Kinda old but I like that they have a sauna and the pool water aerobics is fantastic.

The gym is well equipped and has its busy times. The indoor pool is located in an older building but useable.

Nice base gym I enjoy using the racquetball courts and the locker rooms are good with showers and a sauna.

Spent most of my time at the basketball court. The staff was nice and friendly and the gym was clean.

This a gym and pool just for the Army. Dont waste your time going there is not open to the public

Update your hours of operation to reflect when you're actually open. It's not hard.
