"Very bad information about disabled blue badge holders! Number plate cameras for checking vehicles in and out then checking your paid for parking so on my first and last visit here I was parked for 3 hours and 15 minutes and I paid first of as I was not sure timing of shopping trip! 2 hours paid for and then half way through shopping I dropped off some groceries and got blue badge and timer set up in front window as rules, from which I could park for 3 hours so 3 and 2 in my book is 5 hours sorted out!! Ticket come in post fining £100 for purchase only time and ran over ! Not a single ticket/car park attendant available onsite making vehicles safe! Never use this place or company again, before fining do your job properly first"
"Built in the 1960's Lee Circle is actually a double spiral though not as many claim modelled on the double helix of the DNA model"
This is a city centre car park that has been there for decades and unfortunately looks it. Years ago I used to park here regularly when I went into town to do my shopping but prices went up to the point that it was cheaper to use the nearby on street parking. Plus the car park was open access so every so often you'd find the stairwell stinking of urine and on one occasion a group of youths were openly smoking marijuana at the bottom of one of the stairwells. But that was several years ago. The car park now does all day parking for £3 so we have started using it when we intend to do some shopping and then have lunch and do some other activities in the city centre While the car park is still as much of an eyesore as it ever was, some improvements have been made to the facilities. The pedestrian entrances/exits are now access controlled with your parking ticket, which presumably keeps out random people coming in to urinate all over the place. Also, strips have been put on the edges of some of the steps to make them a bit safer when you're walking up and down stairs (there are also lifts if you're weighed down with shopping) Unfortunately, the centre of the ring in the car park still needs a good clear out as it's not the most pleasant sight if you look out of the stairwell windows but to be fair you're parking your car, not moving in, so it's not that much of an issue
It's an old carpark... unfortunately spaces are tight but not as tight arsed as the numpties taking up two spaces too protect there over priced German or Roverised Chelsea tractors... you know who you are. If you don't then there is a wonderful website dedicated to unfortunates who have some how survived the fate of evolution for so long its called youparklikeac**t. Google it for some informative education. The Carpark stairs stink of urine and also have lovely gatherings of the local tribal heroin addicts on occasion at least weekly at night. Not entirely sure there is any security protecting the site as advertised. You defiantly don't get any value for money at the price you will pay for a days worth of parking.... If you have a choice of parking elsewhere then use it. To some up my experience its a poo hole where you might be safer using a more modern well lit and secure carpark to store your treasured box of metal on wheels. Good luck.
IF YOU USE THIS CAR PARK, KEEP YOUR PARKING TICKETS FOR AT LEAST THREE MONTHS AND TRY TO PAY WITH YOUR CARD (OR VIA CONTACTLESS) AND NOT CASH!!! I received a £100.00 parking charge as they claimed I only paid £1.80 (for 1 hour). Luckily I had evidence from my bank statement that I paid £2.80 for 2 hours worth of parking. They accused me of overstaying when I clearly paid for 2 hour parking. I had parked for 1 hour 52 minutes and I received a letter 2 weeks later with this charge. If I had paid by cash and destroyed my ticket (which I did), I would have no proof to show how much I paid and how long my ticket was running for! PLEASE keep your evidence as they would literally be STEALING your money, if you fail to have any form of proof with your parking ticket! I feel sorry for those people that have been done by this scam!

Built in the 1960's Lee Circle is actually a double spiral though not as many claim modelled on the double helix of the DNA model. However the double spiral made and still makes it easy to lose the location of your vehicle. When built it was the first automatic car park in Europe had a ten pin bowling alley underneath and the first Tesco outside of London. Wow, way to go Leicester. Where did it all go wrong? Also though it never seems to be mentioned Lee Street that runs round the car park was the birth place of Joseph Merrick, the Elephant man. I must point out though that King Richard the Third was not buried under this car park.
I have used this car park for years. It doesn’t look the safest and most definitely is not the cleanest but I’ve never had an issue with safety so far & its cheap! There’s always parking spots available in either car park side. As theres 2 car parks merged into one (genius?) i feel people do loose their cars, i’ve helped many people realise they are on the wrong car park floor. Also the app is getting annoying, it crashes often but even if it crashes theres usually help available at the barrier help point. Still for the price, it’s a pretty okay car park.
One of the worst place to park, but compared to cheaper of otherwise, you need to download their app. I barely feel safe to park in this parking. Staff are very rude in the com. The worst thing is pedestrian steps and corridors. Disgusting, smell urine, and filth. You can not walk, can see the marks everywhere, and smell horrible. The only advantage could be, near the city centre, but can not guarantee safety. If you pay in a machine, it's pricy. If you use an app, there is a little bit of discount.
Large city centre carpark, 1070 spaces, easy to use, no tight or narrow ramps to drive up or down. The carpark sweeps round in a huge spiral all the way to the top, making it a very easy to use carpark. With both lifts and stairs to the street below. Carpark doors are locked magnetically, and can be opened by scanning the barcode on your carpark ticket. Really Great prices for all day city centre parking. Pay on foot machine which accepts both card and cash. Maximum price for 24hr parking is £4.50
I regularly park here when travelling to London for the day .24hr car parking at a bargain £3.95 payable by card .5 min walk to Haymarket and St Margaret Bus Stations .Entrance door is in need of repair just latching clearly been subjected to vandalism, stairs could do with a wash down and lifts never work ,aside from that a good car park and a great price and I would highly recommend for long stays and central location
This is a very old carpark, but it's very near the centre of the city centre, and it's two Best features are its very cheap compared with other city centre car parks, and its just one continuous spiral to all the floors and not one where you have to go up ramps in a carpark designed for small sixties cars, so you narrowly miss the concrete pillars, and my car is only a Ford Focus!
REALLY good value for money IF you are staying for a few hours or visiting the city for a day or night out as it’s a flat fee for 24 hours of parking, about £4 I believe? I always park here if I’m going shopping or staying overnight and the hotel doesn’t have a car park. I would recommend NOT parking here if you are popping in for 30 mins as it will still cost you about £4
If you want a cheap car park with one price no matter how long you stay in a day then go here. £3.45 for as long as you want in a day but you must use the NCP app as no cash accepted. Plus it is a listed building, not many car parks can claim that. It is due to the unique double spiral design, so make sure you know your floor and colour when you go down the stairs.
I have never seen such a dirty car park, a shame when you see the price that keeps increasing! Unbearable smell, for a car park in the heart of the city center, as much to pay more at the parking of the shopping center John Lewis. Lee circle is a car park to avoid or flee! Hygiene and cleanliness absent, We don't feel safe! Even star C is too much to give them!
Ever Since they have Started Regenerating the Car Park and surrounding areas which includes, new Offices but mostly Luxury Apartment, but it also looks like they are going to open the alternative Floors which will allow for more parking space in the City and including new Security Features, this has gone from a 2 star rating to a 5 Star
It's cheap but not cheerful. Spaces are narrow and it smells of wee. It does serve it's purpose. If I had a nice car I wouldn't park here, as secure as a wet paper bag. Security doors broken, smashed windows. Door handles have a film of god only knows what on them. There is a reason it is the cheapest place to park in town.
Usually plenty of space to park your car, however the multistory is in desperate need of some love. The car park is maintained to the bare minimum and is not the most pleasant place to be at night with few cameras and smashed windows in the stairwells. 3 stars I simply for the availability of spaces and at a cheap price.
Parking here is not bad for £4.50. However, hygiene is ridiculous. The floors are covered in urine. The lifts smell like urine and has rubbish inside. Please, get the cleaners to get rid of the wretched smell as its unhygienic. I feel sick in that place. If the hygieme improves, i will give a positive review.
The price is a con you pay nearly £4 even if you are only an hour it doesn't feel very safe if your alone parking your car the security door is always broken the lifts and stair ways smell like a toilet at the moment its not to bad as there are work men there I've seen drug users there
The stairwells stink and obviously haven't been properly cleaned in years. The smell of stale urine creates a bad impression of the City. Two lifts, side by side, were out of order and this meant my elderly mother had to take the stairs from ground to level two.
Fun for all the family....This car park is a resplendent way to spend an afternoon with a picnic. Car spotting, counting the spaces or running up and down the whirly circles. Great accoustics if you happen to have a full size drum kit and Phil Collins handy.
Daily parking price is ok, but while I stay at exit gate , the ncp pass qrcode is not working ! let me wait for a long time to dial up call centre, for help me to exit the gate, waste my time and also obstruct other car to exit , make me
Eeek - £1.95 for 17 minutes, only giving the daughter a jump start, could have something in place - even met employee that could not assist. Suppose it is ok if parking there, personally would use the Ringo site around the corner.
Convenient location for the Curve theatre in the evening. The place was quiet, but it is quite rundown and looks quite sketchy. Parking was £6.95 for the evening, a little cheaper than Rutland Street car park and not as crowded.
Old car park but I love this car park. Not good for short stay but for 24hr parking it's brilliant. Spaces are tight but most of the issues are caused by inconsiderate drivers parking over the lines. Highly recommended
The bad reviews are unfortunately true. But an interesting place, worth a visit for aficionados of 20th century landmark architecture. Not sure I’d want to pay more than £4 to park here or arrive/depart late at night.
I think the design of this car park is genius. I have used it lots. Since i was little when my mum took me into Leicester with her. The spaces are a bit tight these days with cars being bigger. Its ok though.
Actually very good value carpark but constantly full of drug users, last week I saw the NCP guy actually rolling up a spliff with some young lads on the stairs. Don’t feel safe leaving my car there anymore..
It’s well located and have a flat prince parking for weekend. But need some extra sighs to show way out, action needed to do some cleaning as it’s smells and installed some light for some of the pathways
Parking is fine. Area is bad, approached many times people asking for money as I pass them on the stairs. Place always had a smell of drugs or urine. Ticket pay stations always issues, every other day.
Smells awful once again. Had difficulty re-entering as although the ticket swiped OK the door was jammed at the top and wouldn't open. Had to go up the same way as the cars do on the ramp. Very risky.
There is multistorey and outside short stay park . With app there is some discount and can pay via app and enter with QR code . It is not very tidy , but near to the city centre is a cherry on top.
An architectural wonder. That makes for some awkward paring spaces though. Pretty much always a space, and a good price. Less than half the cost of the ncp next to the Curve, and a 10 minute walk.
After refurshment and the fitting of security doors its more pleasant and has less drink and drug problems. Many spaces are small so if you end up next to a large vehicle it's a squeeze.
Reasonably priced. Short walk into City Centre. Slightly dodgy walking in and out with no designated pedestrian walkways. You can get some 'characters' hanging around there though.
Ideal for blue badge holders parking for town, only problem being inconciderate drivers who park in disable bays without good reason ie no badge and getting away with it
It’s a multi storey car park . It’s big safe and customer are friendly. . The machines work fine . There are homeless sleeping there at times but you can’t blame them.
If a building ever wanted to vomit it would be this one. The place is drab dull dreary it's lifts skink and it leaves you with a sense of the futility of existence.
Junkies injecting heroin on the stairwell. You have to ask to be let through. Some days you have to avoid stepping on used needles. Intimidating and disgusting.
Using the app is great and easy. They do need a means to report incidents as no one is around. Some spaces are not suited for big cars, the smaller the better.
Great for parking in the city centre- £3 for the whole day. The bad thing is that you cannot pay for an hour or two ...only for the whole day.
Cheap car park. Slightly tight parking spots. And confusing with the blue and red circle. Make sure you remember which colour side you are in!
Cheap Historically important piece of brutalist architecture but because it is in Leicester the council want to knock it down.
Some dodgy people hanging around here, also received parking fine in their error.sorted now but pretty frustrating at the time
Tight spaces but the cheapest in Leicester for the day at only £4. Bit dirty around edges but serves its purpose.
Don't confuse blue & red zones - many have 'lost' their car because of it!! Cheap parking compared to other NCP's
This only got 2 stars because it smells of urine on most days, but for a whole day it costs £3.50.
Don't use this carpark if you are late 10 minute you will receive £60 ticket they check on camera
Half the car park is closed off. There are no markings on the floor to show you the way to go.
Usually plenty of spaces available and about 5-10 mins walk to shopping area(like Primark)
Very spacious carpark. Easy to pay via the NCP app. Walking distance from the Golden mile
Awful barriers not working stuck for 50mins not answering phones none around to get help
Good value car park. Very short distance from town centre. Less than £5 all day parking
This place is alot safer and better since they put the car park ticket door scanners in
Cheap parking. Chose it as close to site of Lee Street, birthplace of Joseph Merrick.
Went into carpark but couldn't pay need an app on phone so left again disappointed
Ok maybe for small cars. Very tight parking. Very expensive. Won't be going again.
Nice and close by to get in & out of town but the lanes are very narrow …
Does what it says on the tin. Prices extremely reasonable and spaces are a plenty.
As you would expect, more powerful lighting needed could be unsafe at night
Works on going at the moment. But a reasonable place to park for 4 50 a day
Cheaper if you get the app. Cheapest car park in Leicester but does smell
Easy access, near to city centre. Cheap daily parking for the weekend.
Cheap at £3 per day but it's in a rough area. No toilets nearby.
Good central location, within a few minutes walk of the shops
Used this car park for years. Always reliable to park here.
Its a car park. 4.50 all day, cheaper with season pass.
Great north central Leicester location with low prices.
Inexpensive parking a short walk from the city centre.
Parked on Lee Circle after 18:00 meaning it's free.
Cheap affordable parking in Leicester city centre.
Cheapest parking in town and convenient location.
Good location and typical of the type, card only.
Close to center of city. Only 3 Minutes walk…
Great all day parking for less than a fiver
Narrow parking space but cheapest in town!
It's OK but wouldn't go there on my own.
Cheapest overnight parking we could find
£3.95 for all day parking, great value
Bit tight for today's car's but cheap
Close to bus station and primark
Was ok, just a ordinary carpark
The car park is a complete mess
Very safe and secure parking
Payment machine did not work
Reasonable prices £5 a day
Good price, not nice area
Cheaper place's to park
A dystopian wasteland.
