Small cafe and take away with great beach views. I ordered 2 lamb breyanis and 1 kebab and roti. The drinks ordered were very well presented. Was impressed. The food however lacked the authenticity of Indian food. I ordered lamb but was sure that I got mutton. The taste was ok but also very oily. Salad accompaniments were good. The kebab taste was good except that the kebabs were burnt when frying. Great service from both owner and waiter. Good place to hang out for some drinks and snacks. Good music playing made for great ambience but I would not go back for the food unfortunately.

Got rice from them as I had ordered a mutton curry elsewhere only for it to be the curry with nothing else. Their rice was great and their menu made you want to order so came back the following day so that we could order Briyani. Worst mistake ever! I found a massive mosquito in my food. I was hoping to go back and try more items from their menu but after that experience I will never go back there.

This place is really really useful if you stay in the area. You needn't go to a Spar or PicknPay when you can just come here and get most of the essential things you need. As far as the cafe is concerned, the food is quite good but there are competing places close by that have it at a cheaper price. I would definitely visit again.

North Beach Cafe is famous for its Bunny Chow and delicious curries. The food is delicious and I always go back for the bunny chow. The waiters are friendly and very helpful. The view of the beach and the warm friendly spirit of the Durbanites makes this place a firm favorite.

They have the most amazing chicken tikka in the whole of Durban! They care about their customers and give that extra sauce and masala without hesitation or extra charge. Very friendly service. Would highly recommend this place if you're a chicken tikka lover.

The owner was very nice and personable; made sure I had everything I needed without having to ask. The bunny chow was the first meal I couldn't finish the portions are generous as opposed to the smaller everything compared to standard US sizes/portions.

Here on a Sunday morning, asked if the curry was yesterdays before ordering... They said it's fresh... Well my Mutton bunny arrived with old curry... Wasn't quite surprised.. Don't recommend this place...

The bunny chow is delicious, meat well cooked and enough to feed two people. There's a Dj with a Playlist that gets you dancing plus the scenery behind is beautiful …

Staff are very helpful and pleasant. They go out of their way to assist the clients. It is very well stocked for such a small cafe. All daily needs are available.

Extremely high prices and stock on shelves are old and some literally faded. No Covid protocols were followed. Alot of loitering outside the store.

Very good cafe, since they are open almost all day. However, prices are not really in keeping with your family cafe or convenience store.
