They’re cinnamon buns with the nuts and the cherries are delicious and a long time favourite. Same with the pull apart. Unfortunately I bought the bran muffins the other day and they’re beyond disappointing. I’m forcing myself to eat them because I don’t like being wasteful but they’re so unpleasant. They’re very sticky, greasy, and too moist. Almost wet. When you hold them or push your thumb into them, they make a wet, squishy noise, (like a wet sponge) and leave an indent instead of being bouncy and popping back. The flavour is somehow both too sweet and bitter. There’s also a weird aftertaste. It’s just very unpleasant. I’d come back for the cinnamon buns & pull apart, but not the cookies (also too sweet) or the muffins.

A neighbourhood staple for many years. A personal favourite is the cinnamon buns, they are to die for. We could definitely branch out more and try some other things as the selection here is second to none. Can't wait to visit again soon

It was my birthday June 17th so we went out of our way to find a local small bakery we could support. Unfortunately, I chose a blueberry 'cheese /whipping cream type cake'. It was supposed to be a cheesecake, however, it was loose graham wafer crumble with a whipping cream like filling that absolutely is some no bake recipe. It tasted like nothing and the blueberry topping was so thin it was rediculous. It is completely unedible and a waste of $10.99 . This is not acceptable for a bakery! The store was following covid guidelines though, so that's what the single star is for.

Oh, this was a scrumptious accident. My friend and I were going to No Frills, and saw there was a bakery in the mall and so we wandered. There was so much to choose from, ha so we went to No Frills first just to have some time to decide. I bought some butter tarts, an assortment of cookies, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, toffee shortbread, some fresh buns and some cinnamon buns. Everything was very fresh and delicious. They also sell soft serve, so I walked out with a Pina colada cone. No regrets. Definitely a do again.

10/10 would recommend, ive been going to omas for a few years now and the birthday cakes are delicious, perfect every time and miles ahead of any Safeway or sobeys cake. Sticky buns are best in the city. Service is always friendly, quick and efficient. I can't buy desserts from anywhere else, everything in the store is so good from the brownies to the cookies, pies, poppy seed buns and even their pizza dough is phenomenal and versatile I use it in many recipes. Ice cream was really good as well hope it comes back soon

I love this store and have been buying their bread for the past 40 years. Went in today to buy some cinnamon apple bread for the weekend, and found that every single loaf was burnt on top! I asked the cashier about it and was told that is how they all come. I tried to say that is not true as I have buying this all my life and never bought a burnt loaf and all I got was attitude and no help at all. So disappointed in a store that has always provided quality delicious baking. Will not be supporting you any longer!

We bought an apple pie that cost over $7. I asked the clerk if the apple pieces in it were crunchy as we did not like apple pie with crunchy apple pieces in it. She said no. So we bought it. The apple pieces in the pie WERE crunchy and the bottom crust was like mush, like it was under cooked. Not a good pie at all. How can you go wrong with apple pie? We think Oma should take some pie baking classes.

We bought imperial cookies --- tasted awful ,half the size and had a bitter taste ,the ' cherry bread ' should be called the bread with a few red bits in it and the pies were burnt and greasy tasting .The people working there are not nice like [they used to be] --- surly comes to mind. All in all they are very pricy and quality is gone and portions are smaller .Not worth going there anymore .

Was recently introduced to this nice little bakery right inside of McIvor Mall. The recommendation and the reviews did not lie. Except, you can only eat so much! Cinnamon buns are fantastic, will be trying the icing ones next time. So many goodies to choose from. The cakes look amazing. For the end of the day. The woman behind the counter was very patient and helpful! Worth the trip.

I love the cinnamon buns, but stay away from the blueberry pie. I’ve tried the blueberry pie twice over the past couple years and both times it has been inedible.

One step into Oma's Bakeshop and the smell of fresh baked goods will send you into a whole new experience. I frequent this location and can't say enough about Quinn and her team. Very personable and always helping me out with suggestions of what to take home or to the office. There is no comparing the taste or ingredients to others. Step in - Step up and enjoy the goods.

They must be doing really well and don't need customers! I've been going to them for years but I don't think I will be back. I called for a cake, girl on the phone was useless. All she said was that a cake needed 2 days notice. Ok, good to know... I asked what was in stock and she couldn't help. Basically saying cone down and check for myself. Zero customer service.

Omas is a super cute local bakery, where I cannot help myself. As soon as you walked in you get the delicious aromatics of all the freshly made baked goods. I cannot help myself to buy something, whether it be the date cake, cinnamon buns, or mine and my boyfriends ever favourite, frosted apple cinnamon bread, you're never disappointed.

  • Jessica Giancola

This 'cake' was more icing than actual cake. One half of the chocolate part of the cake must of been cut wrong and too thin and was covered up with icing we used to go the old Charleswood location which is no longer there and thought to take the drive to get this cake. Very disappointed with this $24 'cake'.

Love this bakery! My favourites include the cinnamon buns, cinnamon saucers, and cupcakes. My kids love their sugar cookies which we always order for birthdays. The ice cream side is fantastic in summer too! Best Reece’s pieces hurricane I’ve ever had! Kids love all the flavour options of soft serve.

I ordered ¼ marble slab cake for my son & daughter-in-law's 20th wedding anniversary. The cake was beautifully decorated, and was the best cake that everyone had tasted ever. This will be my go to place to buy cakes from now on. Hands down 100% best cake ever. Way better than Safeway or Sobeys.

  • Lynne Cooper

The cinnamon buns and loaf are delicious provided they are fresh. Some of their products are over priced such as the hot dog buns. The poppy seed buns are also delicious. Staff are nice except for one girl/woman who seems to have attitude otherwise I would have given it another star.

  • Amanda Mazariegos

This bakery really came through for me when I ran into some trouble with my order of custom cookies! I so appreciate the kind and accomodating staff! The cookies turned out beautiful and so yummy, they were perfect for a bridal shower (or any special event)! The BEST local bakery!

  • Jon Bee

Who knew a bake shop had ice cream. And excellent ice cream it is. The soft serve is really creamy, and it comes in 24 different flavors. I enjoyed the peach. It gets mixed into the ice cream itself so it's peach(or whatever other flavor) through and through. Delicious.

The Spanish Slice just transported my sister and I back in time to when we were kids!! Our Mom bought it at Safeway on Portage and Ferry Road back in the day. I found it at Oma's today thanks to a Facebook post. Absolutely delicious! Tastes just the same!

  • Rick Harrison

We tried a sampling of items here. I was the most impressed with the sausage rolls, less so with some of the pastries. Overall, I enjoyed everything. They have a very large selection. I thought the prices were on the high side.

  • West End Radiators

We love Quinn's products, she's super talented and very professional. She always has your order ready when needed! She's definitely our go-to bakery as a company and for myself personally! I highly recommend Oma's Bakery.

  • Jonathan Pedersen

Great sweet treats, buy them every time I pop by the mall! Owner is passionate about her products, very friendly and keeps a clean store front. Always a great Saturday breakfast after stopping in for cinnamon buns!

  • Braydon

I used to come here all the time! Loved their food! I even tried to drop off a resume, but was told that "they only hire girls", and "sorry". A little bit ridiculous, so I have to recommend the Crusty Bun instead.

  • Nathaniel Dolynchuk

Great place for a pack of 6 HUGE fresh Cinnamon buns, GOOEY with icing and whatever is done for that cinnamon paste that goes in the middle. I ate one and now I may need to take a nap, but it was SO GOOD!

  • Danika Huff

Omas bakery is an amazing place my mom and I go to for a treat every once in a while! Its so special and their food is better than anything I have ever had before! I love your pastries

  • Karis Hallson Fitness

I love Oma's! Walking into the mall entrance, you can just smell the goodness. Cinnamon buns, homemade regular buns and a nice pastry treat are some of my favorite things from Oma's!

  • Brodii Abramic

I would like to point out that the people giving one star are habitual one starers.. would like to know who's trying to kill their computation? Their food is amazing here BTW.

  • MK

Amazing! Their poppyseed loaf is amazing, lots of filling and their icing is great and not drowning in it. A little on the expensive side but worth the homemade taste.

  • Michael Brey
