Excellent professional and helpful service that exceeded our expectations! Moe, Chris and Thomas arrived on time, were courteous, cheerful and helpful beyond the call of duty, giving us tips and advice on moving, maintenance and appliance care. Not only was nothing broken or damaged, but they left no mark at either on the walls or floors of the place we moved out of - or on the carpets, wooden floors and walls of the new place. I was particularly impressed by their speed and competence in dismantling and wrapping up our stuff. Also, they were considerate enough to constantly keep taking off and putting on their shoes while bringing stuff into the new house - despite the runners they had carefully placed on the floors and stairs - and did so without complaint! They only took a small coffee break and pretty much worked right through the 9 hour move - which, incidentally was the time window we had expected. But perhaps best of all, they were more than a third cheaper than a well-reputed firm we had checked out. Their reputation is indeed well-deserved - despite the relatively few recent reviews we could find on the Net - and the move was smooth and painless largely because of them. With this fresh, personal, experience, my wife and I have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family - and to anyone else thinking of moving homes in Ottawa!

These guys were fantastic during our move! I was scrambling trying to find a mover for our last minute move and they definitely stepped up to the plate and met all our needs to make it overall less stressful. Right from the beginning, they communicated quickly and answered all my questions prior to the move during booking. Then on move day, Mo, listened extremely well as I explained the specifics of our move (two different places that things had to go). All the movers (4 total) were very nice, kind, and seemed to handle our items with respect! Greatly appreciated. It was a long day and they all still seemed to be in good spirits. No injuries and cautious. They wrapped all our furniture or anything else that required it in shrink wrap! Included! I didn't know that was a thing but it put my mind at ease when we go to unpack, etc. I would totally recommend this business to my friends and family or anyone looking for a respectful, attentive, and professional moving company for your belongings.

I am a sceptic at heart and am a see it to believe it kind of person. Well, I just saw THE BEST movers I have ever come across. Chris and Ali are kind, well mannered, extremely careful and moved out furniture like it was theirs and like it was their home. They inspected out home before they moved anything to make sure we were aware of all the existing floor and wall Knicks and blemishes. They used carpet runners, wrapped all our furniture and used furniture pads. These guys work hard! I've had crews of 4 accomplish less in the same amount of time. The price was terrific but their service is FANTASTIC. They moved our appliances the day before and they know what they're doing. Costco use these guys so of they're good enough for them they're good enough for us. I HIGHLY recommend On Call Movers and ask for Ali and Chris. Terrific company.

I can't say enough good things about On Call Movers. They were recommended to us by a friend after we had a disastrous experience with another large moving company in Ottawa. The contrast between these two companies was night and day. Ali and his team did an incredible job of our multi-step move. They were careful to wrap and cover all furniture and moved everything with skill and care (nothing was damaged). Ali was kind, patient, hard-working, and very accommodating. He made sure were were fully satisfied with the job, even after the many hours it took. I would recommend On Call Movers without any hesitation -- you won't be disappointed!

The movers arrived on the dot! They were very friendly, pleasant and just all around nice guys. They were professional, took care of watching that no scuffs were made on the walls, took their time and were done very quickly. I would definitely use On Call Movers Ottawa again without hesitation. I was also very impressed with the photos taken once the items were delivered, including the signed pick up and declaration form. Truly impressed and happy with the service. On Call Movers were contracted out by an appliance store where I purchased a washer, dryer, fridge, stove and dishwasher. Ali and his partner attended on time, explained the process, removed all packaging, ensured that nothing was damaged and carried each item into the house using lifting straps (no dolly). They were very careful with each item, ensuring that they caused no damage whatsoever to my appliances or home. By far they are the best movers that I have seen to date. They exceeded all expectations, were friendly, polite and efficient. Two thumbs up for this company and crew.

These guy's are awesome. They moved my 180 gal aquarium with care and they also set it up. Very friendly and real pro's. If you want a large aquarium moved they are the one's to do a awesome job and took great deal of care to make sure no damage would occur and none did.Thanks guy's as you made it very easy as i WAS anxious and it all went smoothly. The level of service and attention to detail were OUTSTANDING. We had our new washer and dryer delivered by this company and they definately went above and beyond. They not only moved the appliances but installed them as well as agreed to. They did a great job, cleaned up afterwards, made suggestions about upgrading the hoses and made sure that all worked well before they left. They were personable, friendly and professional. I was VERY pleased with this company.

I had another moving company booked, but they cancelled last minute and forwarded my move to on-call movers. I was nervous at first since this wasn't the company I booked. However, when they arrived, it quickly became apparent that I had nothing to worry about. These guys were amazing. On time, very friendly, professional and did a great job with no issues. I'll definitely be calling them again for my next move!

I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with On Call Movers. They delivered a washer dryer in my home ( not an easy install - heavy unit and three flights up). They want the extra mile and when it was discovered the unit was faulty and needed replaced recommended they be the ones to replace the unit as they were concerned another mover would damage my home. Truly a great experience!

I used this company twice. 1st time they came to deliver best buy appliances. Second time was for a long distance move. I was able to book my date of choice on short notice, they came on time, worked fast and efficiently. Their price was also lower than the competition.
