Joined the waiting list online to be there by 7. There was still a small wait but I was able to let my service animal walk around while waiting. Our server was great. Brought the bread and salad before the drinks though. Had to wait a bit to get entrees but everything else was great. They had a surf n tail combo I did. I ordered the 8 oz center cut sirloin, made rare, and a lobster tail. I ordered mashed potatoes and a salad for my sides. I had water and strawberry lemonade to drink. My daughter had chicken tenders and fruit with sprite. My friend ordered the Victoria filet with loaded mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. He also had a Boozy cherry Limeade drink, which I tried, and you couldn't even taste the alcohol. The restrooms were clean when I used them with my daughter. Everything else was super great. Everyone was good with my service dog and didn't give any issues towards her either. Would definitely dine here again.

The hostess tried to sit us next to a screaming baby and I asked her to move us to a quieter area. Then she tried to sit us next to the kitchen door and the back. I asked once again if we could have a quiet table.. I then she was getting snippy with us!! She said there was only one waitress on so we had to sit with everybody else and one area of the restaurant... The rest of the restaurant was empty.. I had just had surgery and I wanted a quiet table and that did not happen... The waitress was pleasant and she was efficient... We both ordered the same food which was the French onion dip sandwich we had french onion soup as an app.. everything tasted delicious but the sandwiches were very skimpy for the price!! I could tell alpacas cutting corners.. large plates with little bit of food on them... I don't think we'll be coming back this used to be our favorite restaurant..

My family and I live on the Northside of Jacksonville so this Outback Steakhouse is about 15 minutes away. The food is so inconsistent that we usually make the 40 minute drive to the Outback on Atlantic Boulevard because we know we can expect good service complimented by good food. We always order our steaks medium rare and 7 times out of 10 they come back rare (cold, almost purple center). The hospitality is completely hit or miss; sometimes we get engaging, competent and friendly host/hostess and sometimes they can be unmotivated to borderline rude (the last time I was there the hostess was completely rude to my 13 year old daughter who simply inquired how much longer it would be to get a table). The location and the actual restaurant are ideal - with the right cooks and management, it would be a great place to patronize.

We, a family of 3 went to this location of Outback on December 26 at about 8PM. When we entered the restaurant, we saw at least 10 empty tables at the restaurant. But we were told that we had to wait for 15 minutes. (WHY?) So we waited for about 30 minutes and were seated. Then we waited for 15 minutes before a waitress approached us. Then another 10 minutes to be given water. We ordered two prime ribs, one medium, one medium rare. The prime ribs came about 20 minutes later. Both were well done, tough and dry. The waitress offered to replace them and came out with the same dry and tough pieces of meat. Disguised, we paid and left. Not recommended. Stay away.

Decided to come back here and give it another shot after the first disappointing time. Atmosphere was much better and significantly improved, workers look less stressed and/or agitated. Had a new server tonight (named Christina?). She was great all around and took care of us with no issues. Food was much better and came out faster than the last catastrophic time we ate here. Overall a big improvement from our last experience and the waitress made it great.

Steak wasn't cooked right for the whole table( I had a party of 6 adults and 4 children) Sept one person service was great but our food wasn't up to par lobster Mac was just macaroni with crumble of lobster not very appetizing and I was told our table would be ready in 2 hours 2hours went by still wasn't ready will not be able to forget my mother's day dinner here wasn't happy

The steak was good the burger my son got was garbage. He had to get a second cooked for him and it still wasn't edible. Our waitress was terrible. She couldn't remember what we asked for and it definitely wasn't delivered in a timely manner. We waited 20 minutes after being seated before we were greeted by her.

Yummy, we just went for apps and a drink for lunch, onion was cooked to perfection. Tried the steak dip, it's our new favorite! Drinks were good. Not a heavy pour. I had the Huckleberry Hooch. Didn't really taste the moonshine, but it was refreshing.

We had a great dinner tonight. Steak and lobster was outstanding and our timely. While the food was terrific for a “chain” restaurant what was the best was our server Christina. Best overall wait service in a very long time. We made sure to tell the manager, Angel how awesome she was and how much we enjoyed the food.

I had the Outback Style Prime Rib, it was probably the fattest and grisseliest piece of meat I've ever had. The chili side dish was blah. Service was ok and the cocktails were tiny. Wish I'd went somewhere else, unfortunately.
