Good tacos, nice spot to grab a bite to eat. Bit pricy. Walk up style ordering. You can either order and pay for your food and drink then sit down with a red table top number or you can order a round of food/drink then sit with a green table number and they will come around to let you order more food and drinks. My friends and I just ordered and paid. Wasn’t very busy so we picked a table away from the edges to stay as cool as possible. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi tacos (comes with 2 for $13) and my friend ordered the carnitas tacos (2 for $12) so we could trade and try one of each. I thought the flavor of the tuna and toppings was great! I thought the carnitas one didn’t have as much flavor and was more dry. Also a bit high price for two tacos but decent sized portion at least. Also ordered a beer on tap which was nice compliment. They gave me a complimentary post card I wrote and they took it after to stamp and send it for me. Guess everything in the area is probably a bit pricey but I would probably drive and try other taco places before returning again unless it was to meet friends.

A great bar and restaurant in the heart of the St Johns Town Center. The drinks are pretty pricey, so coming during Happy Hour (we missed it) is the way to go, 100%. I really appreciate that the menu has little markers next to it about which items are gluten free, or have the option to be gluten free. Makes it so much easier to know where to look if you have any restrictions. For dinner I got the gluten free mahi tacos - which were lettuce tacos (and butter lettuce no less - score!). The mahi was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the salsa and sauces that were on it were a perfect addition. I wasn't sure if it'd be a big enough portion for the price, but I definitely didn't leave disappointed or hungry. Also, all of the staff we interacted with during our time was so friendly and helpful. Love this place and will definitely come back, for sure during happy hour so I can try some of their drinks, they all looked delicious!

Worst place that ive ever eaten at! Will NEVER go back! And they posted $65 charge on my card for 1 drink that they said was going to drop off and never did! Horrible service, horrible food! They state that they all help eachother and every waiter was there to help…. Well they all are just walking around and no one cares about waiting on the customers… we sat for over 2 hours with dirty dishes at our table, no one asked us how we we were or if we needed anything….They wont even get you a water at this place! We asked for a water and they told us they had a water station that we could get it ourselves! Do not waste your time! Food was horrible and cold and service is even worse…. Called and told Kara how horrible the service was and about the charge and she didnt care and was very snotty! She told me they post charges on your card and it takes 72 hours to drop off! Absolutely ridiculous!!

Myself and my partner had the most incredible experience at this store. We were looking for outfits for our wedding (which can be a bit nerve racking) but we were made to feel so welcome by everyone and nothing was to much trouble. Mary and Vanessa were so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. They helped us pick out the perfect clothes which we cannot wait to wear on our special day. We were even offered complimentary drinks whilst we were trying different items on, truly above and beyond service which felt extremely personal. We also had the pleasure of speaking to Jean when we phoned later in the day to express how wonderful our experience was. This is such a cute place. I came to eat here while in town for the day. I love the ambiance. The service was supurb and the staff was very attentive. The food came out hot and fresh. We had chicken wings (seasoned and delicious), loaded tots (full of flavor. Savory deliciousness with a hint of sweetness), sliders (juicy, cheesy, soft bread and absolutely scrumptious), Cajun fries (crispy and delicious, just yummy) and chips and salsa (chips were warm, fresh with a hint of salt and nice crunch). The only thing we did not like was the salsa. They should rename it to paste instead of salsa. It's a very thick blend of tomatoes but we couldn't taste flavor. Other than that we enjoyed our lunch.

My new favorite restaurant in Jacksonville! You order your food and drinks at the front counter, and as soon as we were seated we had bartenders checking in on us to make sure we were being taken care of. I ordered the chicken panini and also took a bite off of the hot chicken sliders, both absolutely amazing. The margaritas were yummy as well, and we got them within 5 minutes of us sitting down! Particularly very impressed with our bartender Gisselly, who gave amazing recommendations and fantastic service. The manager, Jean, was also a delight and sealed the deal as the new restaurant I need to bring all my friends to. Thank you for an awesome lunch!

I cannot say more AMAZING things about the Marlin bar! As soon as you walk in the vibe, the service, the food, the drinks, everything is top notch. They are so sweet, friendly, and so accommodating that you cannot even express how happy you are eating here. My servers, Jean and Antonio were absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!!!!! We had conversations like we were life long friends. Made my experience 1000000x better. The Marlin Bar is a smaller version of Tommy Bahamas' restaurant. There is a walk-up ordering site and the food it brought to your table in an outdoor seating area. h The menu is limited but food is very good. Several of us split a coconut shrimp appetizer with six shrimp. It was delicious (about $18). We also had a glass of wine There is a small list of wines available during happy hour at a reduced price. The better wines are also available for the regular price on the longer menu that is applicable with the entrees available. The seating was comfortable; the ambiance was very pleasant and the service was good. Worth stopping in when at the shopping center for a snack and glass of wine.

Stopped for a quick lunch at the Marlin Bar…Yvonne and Jenna @ the bar were amazing and super friendly, we enjoyed our interaction. The lunch suggestions of the ahi tacos with crunchy delicious wonton shells, and filet tacos with handmade corn tortillas was spot on! Not exaggerating when I say it was fresh, layers of complex flavors and perfectly prepared. Kudos to the kitchen! The traditional Cuban mojitos prepared by Yvonne were excellent as well - nice, refreshing, large glass (NOT watered down, NOT a mix, good amount of alcohol)=Perfect Mojito! And that’s a huge compliment because my husband makes great mojitos at home! If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop by!

I ordered the fish tacos and the fish was chewy, overcooked and overpriced for the quality. Hurricane tot’s were very good. My friend ordered a panini which was over cooked as well and had a hair cooked into the bread. We received a free appetizer card for our experience but I won’t be back. Seriously overpriced for the quality and inconvenient parking. Just my opinion but I am super picky.

Food was fine the staff was friendly, drinks where also ok but the bar manager Claudya was just the worst customer service experience i ever had, she “helped” me as if it was annoying to her, I had a simple question about my order (they added the wrong cheese and chicken was undercooked) and she was straight up rude. i asked to talk to a different manager and she said she is the only one, i dont usually write reviews but is just ridiculous to go somewhere that’s famous for their customer service just to be treated like this. Considering how most things are overpriced here i would expect to at least be treated better specially by a manager.

I normally do not like to leave a review! This will make my third order of pick-up. Each time I called in to place my order, the staff members were great, giving customers service over the phone and in person. The food was "AWESOME" each time. Very tasty of good quality and reasonable prices! I don't normally give all five stars, but this restaurant deserves every bit of the ALL FIVE STARS!

Came here today 12/11/22 for lunch. It was our first time here and the lady at the counter explained to us the process of ordering and having open tabs. My husband tried to clarify some things but the lady was snooty and rudely ignored my husband and looked at me, as if I should explain it to my husband. She was not very nice. Anyway, other than that incident with the cashier, we enjoyed all that we ordered. Jerk Chicken Wings, Roasted Vegetables with Grilled Chicken and Cuban Sandwich we’re all delicious! The servers are all so nice and friendly too. We would still be back despite our bad encounter.

Exceeded my best expectations. Wonderful friendly service from the start. Lovely outdoor seating options to watch the shopping world go by. Ordered the blackened mahi tacos and the blackened shrimp tacos. Both were fantastic, I highly recommend the mahi! Those were my favorite. Full of flavor and packed with fresh fish, and all the fixings. For dessert we ordered the piña colada cake. WOW! Toasted coconut, crushed pineapple, and a delicious whipped cream. Amazing. Manager came around and spent quality time with each table, ensuring a wonderful experience. We will 100% be back!

The location is 5 (located in the heart of Town Center right across from the Louis Vuitton store). The food is 5 because it was delicious and the drinks are a 5 because they are strong, like my coffee. The service was a 2 because they have this weird thing where you pay for something, get a number, get a seat, then try to stop a server to place an order...then that's where you lose me because the server has to walk around aimlessly looking for your number which could be a long wait while your food could get cold. They really need to work on a new system of ordering.

Oooook. I'm certain the management are wonderful people and I don't like bad reviews but my son and I stood in line for 10 minutes only to find out, 'if you want food", the wait was very, very long. (Note: you order your food from their counter and it was a reduced "minimal" menu... yikes.) Kindly consider sharing that before the 10 minute line wait, it would have helped. I'm not trying to be mean, just disappointed. I'm sure it's a great place at other times, just not that day. Sorry guys but it's not cheap to eat there either, what are you paying for?

This was my first visit to Marlin Bar and I have to say I was surprised. Sabrina was our server and was very nice, responsive, and treated us well. My cocktail was good as was the veggie bowl. Only downside was it was cold on the patio even with heaters on, but that’s not rheir fault. I’d go back for sure.

My husband, baby & I stop in for lunch while shopping. The menu is limited but very good food never the less. It's great if you love warm winter and good drinks. I also tried to look at the menu on my food via the app on the table after telling the waitress what I wanted she said that wasn't their menu so I showed her exactly how I got there & its wrong so we have to get a paper menu. Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar. Would probably stay away for a while until they work out all the kinks. Service was absolutely terrible. They literally told us to get up and go to the bar to grab water when we asked for some. Unless you are going to go have a drink or 2 and sit at the bar, I would not recommend. Food was actually pretty good but nothing to brag about. It did come out fast once we placed the order but it was a challenge getting there. Place is nice however and I hope it gets better soon.

I had the coconut shrimp and they were excellent. I was there for an office Christmas lunch and there were 12 in our group. Our waiter Alec took great care of us.

It’s not that easy to park near the restaurant. I parked near Restoration Hardware and walked a couple of blocks.

The food, atmosphere, and service are always great here. I tried the bowl with greens, sweet potato, caramelized cauliflower and added filet mignon on top — first off, the chef cooked my steak to perfection (and I’m picky)… but that bowl was EVERYTHING. Flavor explosion, delish!! Cierra W. Scott was my server and she was attentive, friendly, and fun! If you find yourself at St. Johns Town Center and are hungry, this place is a must! I’ve had lunch here 4-5 times and it’s always great!

Had to edit my review from a 5-star to a 2-star. This used to be one of my favorite places but I feel my past few experiences weren’t the best. I give everyone chances and don’t complain much but I truly feel a lot of the staff aren’t as attentive. Last time I came here; I waited over an hour for a drink and wasn’t offered an alternative. Fun outdoor patio with misters to keep you cool. You place your 1st order at the counter & then get table service by any of the waitstaff. Service staff was quick, friendly & knowledgeable. Lots of fun cocktails...my favorite is the Cucumber smash. The coconut shrimp & Cuban sandwich were delicious. Remember to join their diner club for $20 off right away!

Never have eaten here before and never will again. We ordered 2 of the Coconut Shrimp and 2 Diet soda snd the bill was 35.48. Even though the food was good the portion was very poor. You only got 4 medium size Shrimp and a scoop of slaw. Server never came back to see if everything was OK or check drink status. Not with the price in my opinion

Jason has been an amazing server! He remembers are name, greets us with a smile, anticipates our needs & goes above and beyond the call of duty!! He deserves a raise & is the epitome of “the Mister Rogers Effect”! We will be back just to see him!! He even brought us a to go Diet Coke without us asking! Excellent service with a smile ! :))

Cute little bar in the middle of the town center. You order at the bar, find a table, and they bring the food out. The servers were very nice and friendly. If you want a nice place to relax after a day of shopping this is a nice quick place to visit. The only thing is it was a little expensive for what you get.

Had a really good sales lady today at Tommy Bahamas in St. John’s town center.. Nichole was awesome. Always nice to have someone who knows the store and willing to get another size in a second. Then she insists you have a snack and drink at the restaurant and Brandon was equally as nice.. will for sure go back.

Brooke and joshy were amazing in helping me find form fitting swim attire. Out of all the times I’ve been here these are the most helpful and friendly people I’ve ever met in my life. I will solely be returning for them only. You either need to promote them or get kore people like them to be honest.

Antonio is one of a kind!! When you speak about bartenders, his name should be in the rafters. 10/10 service. Will trust my kids with him. I personally call him padrino antonio ( that means god father in spanish). Sincerely , ALL US PERSONNEL

Great place to grab a bite & beverages after shopping! Food was excellent, drinks were great too! Make sure to check the happy hour menu before ordering though. They also have a rewards app, that you can get $10 off your bill, so make sure to scan the barcode at your table!

Jason at Tommy Bahamas was the absolute best!! We came for happy hour and had the best drinks, apps and entrees. He was extremely attentive and made our experience that much better!! Will definitely be back!!

Great experience at the Marlin Bar! The food and drinks were very good, and the casual atmosphere is perfect for the shopping center. Even though servers share tables, all of them were friendly and attentive. The outdoor fans and misters are a big plus!

Ate lunch with my friends and the food is so good! I can’t remember exactly what I ordered but it was a veggie bowl. The outdoor seating is nice even when it’s super hot out. There are misting fans which help cool you off too. Definitely would be back!

Antonio absolutely made the experience! They are so lucky to have a hard worker like him. He was the most attentive and personal server I have had in a longgg time.

Every time I come here the food is prepared absolutely perfect with a professional atmosphere. Get treated like royalty here. Ask for Jason for he is on point. Love it here, Jacksonville must come spot, no question.

Wasn’t expecting much from a restaurant in a Tommy Bahama… but was so surprised. My coconut martini was amazing, and my poke bowl may have been one of the better ones ive had. Love all the outdoor space!
