I'm giving P.F. Chang's 5 stars...but not because of my most recent experience, unfortunately. I've been at least 3 times before since they opened in Winnipeg and it's been very nice...my latest experience was different. Location: conveniently located near Polo Park. Parking: ample, free! Restaurant: big, nice looking and family friendly This Restaurant has taken a beating over the past couple years, it seems and unfortunately it shows. Service, cleanliness, it is all very sub-par. I'm not sure if it is due to employees being drained due to the pandemic or what, but the Winnipeg Location needs to be more like how they were when they first opened their doors in our city. We were greeted at the front door by a hostess who came by. First impressions.. the Restaurant smelled very strong of bleach. Okay it's a good sign that they are trying to keep clean (mopping floors) however the strong smell was very off putting and if we had other options, we would have left. We were seated right near the door, at a table and given menus that were unfortunately very tattered and gross (they were very dirty). For a Restaurant like this, I'd expect better. Maybe QR codes are the way to go and then for folks who want a physical menu, invest in some new ones that will hold up to the wear and tear of use. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helped us navigate the menu to help find things to meet some dietary restrictions. Very impressed. He also suggested some options for dishes...so really happy about that. Unfortunately he didn't come back to check on us or ask if we wanted anything else (such as dessert), nor did he tell us when it was last call. He came back around when we were finished eating and admitted he should have asked what brought us in (in our case we were celebrating a birthday and wanted to enjoy some dessert). Food: depending on what meal you get, it varies from very tasty, I'd get it again to bland. Unfortunately this won't be my go-to again unless I'm going with a mix of folks who want to try out a one of a kind in our city. I sincerely hope my feedback is considered to improve the experience in the restaurant. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Entrance to the restaurant was a hazard with a large snow drift blocking most of the walk way. Can’t quite figure out why everything else was cleared off but that particular area. Almost everything we ordered was spicy despite the menu not mentioning this in its descriptions. Can’t say I’m a fan of that and for that reason alone I am not in a rush to come back. We were extremely disappointed that the Rangoons were sold out (Rangoons were actually part of the reason I chose this restaurant). Our second choice was the Handmade Dumplings with the shrimp option. The dumplings were good but the sauce that came with them was not “light” like the menu says it was over the top spicy and was quickly discarded. The Wonton Soup cup was delicious but really tiny and very expensive for such a small portion. The Crispy Honey Chicken was spicy! I kind of assumed that honey would be sweet not spicy. It was good but why so spicy? I wouldn’t order again because of the deceiving menu description. We also ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and again this was spicy. No mention from the waitress or menu description that it was going to be this spicy! Not everyone loves spicy food. Most people also appreciate the heads up if a dish is spicy. Most Thai restaurants will ask for a spice level your comfortable with but we didn’t get this option here. Riesling wine was not good. I actually choked on it a couple times because it was so harsh. Not at all what I’m use to in a Riesling. The table we were seated at wasn’t really wiped down from the last guests and was sticky with food that was visible. There were splotches of food on the walls as well. Also of note you probably shouldn’t use chipped water glasses. They shouldn’t make it out if the kitchen that way. That’s just asking for trouble. Fortunately a member of our party pointed it out so no one was hurt. All in all the portions were small for the price, the menu descriptions are deceiving and we aren’t in a rush to come back. The best thing about the whole night was the company we were with.

Day 13th of the 2-week pre birthday celebrations for me and a celebration for the brother-from-another-mother’s post as the new president of a local company. Tonight’s venue was P.F Chang’s. 10/10 for service 9/10 for mood and ambiance 5/10 for food We ordered the following: *a bottle of Trentham Estate River Retreat Moscato. $36. This Aussie sparking wine went really well with the spicy and salty and savoury dishes we’ve ordered. * Chiang’s Chicken Lettuce Wrap. $19.75. Flavour was good but disappointed with the texture. The crunchy element came from the lettuce and the noodles. *Pepper Steak. $24.75. We upgraded to Fried Rice for an additional $6. This was the only dish that came close to resembling an authentic Chinese dish. Beef was cooked perfectly and the pepper-garlic sauce was amazing. *Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. $21.25. Upgraded to Fried Rice for an additional $6. The sauce was great. The shrimps were cooked right and the addition of water chestnuts gave it that much needed crunchy texture. *Singapore Street Noodles. $23. Ummmm… the only element that I recognized compared with a traditional Singapore Noodles was the curry scent. Other than that, it was ok. It has been over a decade since I’ve tasted their food and it was the same dining experience then and now. I’ll probably go back to hang out with friends that are curious about their food and purely for the amazing service.

Tasty but expensive, small portion sizes. For 2 lunch entrees our bill was over 60$! I'd recommend skipping this and finding a smaller local restaurant, as you'll get same quality food with bigger portions for half the price. Our lunch order was one order of Beef and Broccoli (lunch) and one of Kung Pao chicken. My Kung Pao chicken was tasty but oddly had luke warm veggies and slightly hotter chicken, but the side of rice was the only thing actually hot (temperature wise). The size was quite small especially considering I paid for the full (not lunch) size. There was no size difference in comparison to my partner's lunch sized meal. You can see the size of my plate in relation to the tiny green tea cups. Overall I was quite underwhelmed by my meal and put off by how expensive it was. Especially in comparison with other smaller restaurants, I don't understand the pricing. I wouldn't come back and instead would get a giant delicious bowl of pho nearby for 12$. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

Had a great experience celebrating an occasion with about 10 family members and an infant. The staff were very accommodating specially our server who I’m sorry but forgot her name. The atmosphere here is wonderful, the food is good, each item is like an asian fusion. Overall the taste is good, just wished the Duck meat were sliced thinner in the Peking duck, the thick chunky cuts felt gummy specially as it started to cool. And the only other issue for me was the Pad Thai, which I think lacked flavour it was more on the sour side. forgot to take pictures of other orders but the egg drop soup was good.As well as the beef Lo mein.

Once we told her we had someone with a food allergy she gave us a separate menu and assured us that they are going to ensure there is no cross contaminations on the food preparation.
Kid-friendliness
this is a place that feels fancy but also family friendly.
The restaurant itself is clean and the staff is decent, I’ve seen worse alot of other places. I did find the service was somewhat slow considering there was only 3 other tables in the lounge. Food overall is alright quality as they do make everything inside the restaurant (sauces ETC.) which I appreciate but the flavour wasn’t amazing. Around 23$ Before tax with no drink per meal, lunch is usually 18$ before tax per meal. Would return possibly but not a first choice.

I was quite impressed with P.F Changs, from the decor to the food, to the service. It's nice and spacious inside with big windows that let a lot of light in. The food was pretty good too, and while the menu was somewhat elaborate (it's more of a book than a menu), the photos did a great job of inducing me to order more food than I usually would. The fried rice was the only bit that wasn't so great, but it wasn't bad or anything. It just wasn't as great as I've had elsewhere. The Kung Pao chicken was also supposed to be spicy, but was... not. Not even a hint. The portions of everything were quite generous though and it's not a bad place if you like sharing plates. They did drop the ball a bit with our order, the dumplings we ordered never came and after asking about them, they were made wrong. We ended up up haven them taken off the bill. Aside from the issue with the order, it was a pretty decent experience. It can get pretty pricey though, so don't get carried away with trying everything, it adds up quickly.
We had an excellent experience at PF Chang's in Winnipeg. The food was delicious. Fresh, perfect amount of spices, we really enjoyed everything from the delicious lettuce wraps.to the spicy chicken and the great Wall of chocolate! But the service is actually what made the evening so enjoyable. Everyone was smiling, friendly and polite. Something that seems hard to find these days. The hostess went out of her way to find a comfortable seat for my son (on crutches) and our server Roo was simply great. He offered relatable advice on menu options, made sure our food was prepared safely due to an allergy and checked on us regularly, brining fresh drinks, and making sure everything was as we wanted. All around a nice evening. We will be sure to dine in again soon!

Was hella busy (cos of the Jets game) when we went here to celebrate for 2 birthday celebrants, so every server was occupied and working hard to accommodate everyone but the food was super yummy!! Especially their chicken lettuce wrap and the sesame chicken! The miso glazed salmon was amazing too and the stir-fried eggplant was initially spicy but gradually goes away which was interesting in a good way. They gave us 2 free deserts (banana spring rolls) which was much appreciated and we ordered the cheesecake which was just okay, not the best. Would go here again when it’s less busy for sure!

Great overall atmosphere and vibe. The music wasn’t to loud, the lighting was great. It was very clean and organized when we were there. Our waiter was extremely friendly and was accommodating for people in our group with allergies and gave alternative options they provide. Our food and drinks were delicious. Everything came out of the kitchen in a timely manner even while they were busy. Great place to go with friends and family to enjoy a night of good times.

The atmosphere was great, I found the food salty, But outside of that, it was good, just not worth 25 or 27 dollars. I also felt that they didn't put enough meat in the dish, so you are left wondering why you would need to pay that much for your noodles. My friend couldn't finish her dish off due to the salt content. You will need lots of water and yet you feel like you have salt in your mouth. We were offered a free dessert but due to my friend being full we kindly declined.

Kudos to the chef. Our server, who is radiantly pregnant, without a bat, cleared our table with one tray. Big applause to hard working moms

I would like to start with the service was okay abd my server was really nice, but when it came to the food it was the most bland food I have ever had at a restaurant in my life smh. I love eating out and giving nice reviews but everyone in my family (family reunion) hated their meal and took it too go for good gestures. Am sorry I have to say this but you can definitely do better or change the entire dinner menu.

We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation and they accommodated us immediately. Our server was excellent. She was pleasant and made sure we were aware that the service might be a bit slower due to how busy it was. We appreciated her mentioning this, but it turned out it was not an issue. Food was served quickly and it was hot. This was our first visit and we will return. All the food we ordered was delicious.

Chicken Lettuce Wraps
PF Changs is among our favorite restaurants when we were in the middle east so we are happy to know that it is also here in Winnipeg. The quality of their cuisine is maintained and we highly recommend trying everything on their menu. Chicken Lettuce Wrap and Dynamite Shrimp are all-time favorites. They serve in a generous portion that can be shared by two. I'm not sure if they serve unlimited rice like it was in the middle east, but since portions are big, we were not able to ask. They do serve refillable drinks. The place is clean and Instagram-worthy. Waiters are kind and accommodating.
Restaurant was excellent, not crowded, clean. The service was spot on, we were seated as soon as we arrived. Our server approached us promptly, and brought us our beverages. Very attentive, exceptional service. Food was spot on, we had the calamari to start, crispy honey chicken & beef & broccoli. Excellent flavour. Definitely will go back.

Maybe people like this but not for me. We went there and ordered what we could understand. I got chicken lettuce wrap, and my friend got bean Edamame My dish was around 17$, and my friends were around 12$, which is just boiled beans. Thought wrap means it will be wrapped, but it was not.

Would recommend this restaurant to anyone! If you are expecting a traditional Chinese menu it will disappoint, because it would be better described as Asian fusion. Mongolian beef very good but with tax $29.95 small portions not a good value for hungry patrons. Fork and plate were dirty food stuck to both. Not a great first impression! Service was ok for a non busy restaurant. Price/ how empty restaurant was I don’t see it lasting long. More
The food was good, but overall impression wasn't the best. First, a homeless person with a huge bag walked by our table to use washrooms. Then, their debit machine didn't work, so my partner needed to leave and get cash to pay. I wouldn't pick this place for a fancy dinner. More
The restaurant was busy when we arrived for our 7:30pm reservation. The wait was a bit long for appetizers and dinner but the service was fairly good. The food was of a good quality, and okay portions size. I would return.

Really nice atmosphere. Got seated right away. Ordered a long island iced tea, it was delicious. Sometimes it took a little long for our server to come around. Ordered the lunch sized portion of Beef and Broccoli and it was fresh, tasty and
food was very delicious, server had very good customer service, our food came out super quick, food was very filling. the desserts were so good as well.. all i can say about this place is 5 stars for sure so worth the penny.. they also gave
Good location. Dedicated parking available for pickups etc. Othet then that lot of parking available in the mall. I have 5 star for the time and money they put in for the looks. Very impressive. Lot of space options to dine inside or patio
Great location with ample parking. The place is constructed really well. The food is amazing. Every dish we ordered, came out better than expected. The preparation time was very fast. We could barely keep up with finishing the appetizers
I’m so disappointed with this restaurant. We had never been there but had heard great reviews. We made a reservation over a week ahead for 2. Received a call 2 days before reservation to inform us that in order to accommodate a group of
I got Chang's chicken with brown rice and it was great! Portion sizes are a little smaller than comparable restaurants, but it was enough for me. But if you're looking for authentic Chinese food, I would recommend going elsewhere. More

Love the lunch stop on thursday. And my server Chino Is going places in the hospitality field. Pleasant, knows the menu and excellent people person skill. Returned for dinner today and excellent service . More
Great atmosphere but food was not good at all. The vegetables were only half cooked, the rice had zero seasoning and the bulgogi beef was so chewy. It was a pretty tasteless meal.
Food and service was great and only thing is that servings are a bit less per bowl . Overall good experience.
