You know why you're getting two stars. You know exactly why. It's not the stores you've courted and that provide you with a lush base from which to shear the Carmel Valley Market. No. You've done well there, Plaza Carmel. It's not the entrances and exits. No. They're well situated and, amazingly, make it easy to both enter and leave the Plaza. Quite a feat. It's not the Art or the Christmas tree or any of that. It's the god-forasken parking situation, you've created. That's why you get two stars. I'm being generous with those as well. I'm a patient man, Plaza Carmel. I can wait it out. But the clientele you court... they can't. They're used to having they're way, and being given first choice. Look at what you've given them. Nothing but misery. I admit there is some humor in watching young women in fifty-thousand dollar cars scream in agony as they roll around your lot for umpteenth time, beaten out again and again by opportunistic parking hawks that cruised on in only moments before. It mildly appeals to my peasant-nature. But you've gone too far, Plaza Carmel. I know the difference between anger and madness, and believe me, you're creating true insanity here. These people can't take much more and, for the safety of all involved I implore you to fix your ways and find more effective methods to ease the congestion. After all, how much will people really want to shop in your little development after one of these little girls truly snap? Two stars.... and you knew why before you even read this. Happy profiteering! -Justin
Five stars! Vons has a great selection of food! There is a little area of discounted breads that I enjoy frequenting. Vons aisles are clean, organized, and items are easy to find. Checkers are friendly and helpful! Very outstanding neat service! VONS! Our Lady of the Holy Eucharist, triumph and reign! Our Lady of Good Success, help of Christians, pray for us to do your Only Begotten Son's Holy Will! Eject the evil, dear Mother, Mary, from the Amazonian Synod! Help me to increase Rosary from one to four! Gather your children to defend with love Holy Mother Church! We are at tipping point to embrace heretical ideas and without intervention leaders lead with apostasy working in Church!
Not all shopping centers are created the same - this place is AMAZING! The stores all tend to offer very good customer service. Of the selection of stores/places to eat - we are SO thankful. And then all the monthly AND Summer Family Friendly Events - just put it over the top!! I never thought I'd base where I live on the local shopping center. We're thankful to live so close to this one!
They have one of those really high-end movie theaters, with good food and comfie seats. They have a Ralphs. They have a book store. What more do you want? Do you want a La Salsa? They don't have that. They used to, but not anymore. What's going on with La Salsa? There used to be like 6 in the greater San Diego area; now there's only the one in Coronado. They do have a Rubio's.
Conveniently located right off the 56 freeway at Carmel Creek Road, this retail centre offers a main grocery, as well as banking, dry cleaning, chiropractic, pet supplies, and many others. The center also offers a variety of restaurants running from fast food, to more finer dining. Parking can be a challenge at peak times, but convenience is a premium.
Whomever designed this center's parking lot should be doomed to drive around it for eternity in a large pickup truck. It's miserably bad and so are many of the drivers who shop here. Stores-wise, there isn't much here for those of us with testosterone. Pro tip: Park in back behind the hardware store and cut through near the world's ugliest fountain.
My mall. All my needs. Groceries (Vons), hardware shop (Ace) Bank (Wells Fargo) Hair dresser (California cut) Fast food (Subway) and a very nice choice of world restoration Italian (Via Caprie) excellent food. Indian (Royal India) amazing food. Japanese, Persian, Mexican and Thai restaurant as well. Pet shop, Post office, Dry clean etc. etc. etc
I love Piazza Carmel that is where my hair salon is located, pavilions is an excellent grocery store They have the best Ace hardware in the city located there and that's an incredible hallmark store with a post office in the back a full-fledged United States postal Service closed on weekends and after 5:00. Charming little place
Wide variety of stores, the only thing they are missing is a solid clothing store. Otherwise, they got everything you need from groceries to restaurants to hardware. Some notable stores/restaurants you might want to visit are Pavilions(remodeled in 2018), Ace Hardware, Souplantation, and Baskin Robbins
It's a Del Mar shopping center so it's going to beat some of the other shopping centers. However it is still just a shopping center with stores and little places to eat at. This one is a little more Grand than others but if you live in the area if he comes your normal typical Shopping Center
This place is always busy. There's a lot of good little restaraunts. And a wide variety of stores ranging from a dog groomer to martial arts. The people driving through the parking lot can be a little rude a lot of the time, but other than that, its a very diverse shopping center.
My favorite local shopping center. It is great but it gets pretty crowded during week day lunch hour 12-1:30pm and early evening 5-6pm. I frequent Nicos Taco the most followed by Villa Capri (Italian), Souplantation, Thai, and then Subway. Sushi and Indian are ok but expensive.
I got Pretty Womaned here. You know, no one would help me because I looked too poor. Well having 3 children is a disadvantage that cause many mothers to impulsively buy pricey tank tops for a pick me up. Those shop owners won't be getting my repeat business.
Typical strip/ mixed use outdoor mall with an updated look that draws in a higher clientele. I mean it is what it is, can’t say it’s not just a place to get coffee and groceries. Well ok they have other stuff like Soup-plantation, but I didn’t go there.
Ate at the Sushi place next to the grille and Indian cuisine restaurant. Ordered the Salmon Fried Roll, Edamame and Tempura. I was hungry, so although I enjoyed the roll---my adult daughter did not. The tempura and Edamame was just ok.
This shopping center has my favorite sushi place in San Diego. Gami sushi for life!!! Also the ace hardware is pretty awesome. I wonder, who actually reads reviews for a shopping center? Anyways, I hope you have a good day friend.
Not a fan of the parking layout here. Lots of eating places so I tough it out. Went to try the Market Grille recently and there were some good lunch specials. I had the gyro bowl but can also get plates and wraps.
Several good eateries (especially Spices Thai Cafe), a nice Vons and even a post office in the Hallmark store. Parking can be a real bear during peak hours - before lunch and mid afternoon are better options.
This place is hidden from the main streets, so I was surprised to have found it. They have different ethnic restaurants and a grocery store and many unexpected stores in such a little mall like setting.
Our local shopping center. Food, groceries, dry cleaners, fountain, hardware store, hallmark, urgent care. Parking can get a little hectic, overflow spots in the back. Occasional events for kids.
Dr. McClellan is compassionate with my anxious shepherd. He treats the issues at hand without trying to run any unnecessary tests.. I highly recommend him . His staff is also very professional.
First note, this is not Caramel Pizza. After I got past that, I thoroughly enjoyed the selection of shops, and the well-designed layout of the parking lot, and where the stores were located.
Went to Hallmark card store ... Best selection of many cards for just as many occasions... The staff are more than happy to help and there's a post office on site! Honest one stop shop!!!
There's a Basken Robbins and terrific indian resteraunt with a wonderful lunch buffett. Those are the only two places that I visited and must give five stars. Parking was a breeze, too!
The parking is just stupid. I have nebmver seen such small parking. You can't even get out of your car if there is one next to you. Who ever designed it needs to get a new carreer
which Pavilions they have lovely stuff you got great steaks there people there always friendly that will wipe bar Bakery is outstanding if you haven't been there you need to go
Good shopping mall with restaurants, ice cream, post office, and a nice Vons. Parking lot is laid out a little weird on the Scripps building side, but not a big deal.
Neighborhood shopping center with Vons grocery, ACE hardware, hallmark cards (usps post office inside) and many stores, including dry cleaners and postal store
It is very close to my house and it has many retail and service stores. There hair salon, Vons, UPS, clinic, ballet academy, animal hospital, hallmark and Ace.
Pavilions is great. Picture for the center said vons so it needs to be updated. Glad it was a pavalions though because they have more choices tgen a vons.
Great shopping mall with a nice lot of places to get supplies, groceries, and eats; suplantation being one of the biggest there is mostly always good
The pizza was so good I highly recommend you go in there and Oreo cookie cheesecake was delicious. The silver Brian was so sweet and kind …
There is major construction going on in the parking lot and rear shops area. Once it's complete, the traffic in the parking lot will be better.
It's not vons anymore, Google is too stupid to change the pic. Its pavilions now. The inside is kinda ok. But the floors need to be remodeled.
Great outside eating ... lots of umbrellas and social distancing. Good mix of stores means I can kill a lot of birds with one stine.
I was looking for a cooler which they didnt have but the energy the workers had to help was amazing. Excellent customer service.
You can walk around, talk, steal wifi, you can park your car and people watch. Clean and breezy. Nice seating and fun play area
Nice medium-sized shopping center. It's got a little bit of everything. Traffic can be a bit of a mess in the afternoon
Convenient and upscale which fits the area. Multiple choices for lunches... Otherwise, just another pocket/strip mall.
We love living so close to this shopping center. We can walk to Vons and one of favorite spots Gami Sushi is awesome!
Good variety of places to shop and eat (even exercise). Parking lot can be a pain and very crowded during lunch time.
This is truly a convenient shopping center. Food options are great, especially Villa Capri and Spices Thai Cafe.
Mix of retail spaces. great Indian food restaurant & a locally owned hardware store (Ace) close to the freeway.
We love the Souplantation and Nico's. Nico's tortillas are amazing! Implantation is a great place for families.
Useful for great variety of necessary things--groceries, hardware, P.O. easy access from Hwy or back roads.
Great shopping center with a nice variety of restaurants, a Vons, nail salon, and more. Good parking also.
Customer traffic is relatively light compared to other VONS locations. Makes shopping less of a hassle.
Neighborhood mall to have everything: pavilion grocery store, good restaurants dancing club and more
Okay-okay place. Not that great shopping options here. Few restaurants are there, which are useful
This Shopping center is pleasing Business center. Shiraz Persian Restaurant is located here.
Nice Plaza with a good mix of shops including places to eat with lots of outdoor seating.
Great Vons store, lots of places to eat, nice modern center. Sometimes parking is tight.
Nice strip mall with big grocery. hardware and a few banks. Clean with ok parking.
Great shopping center with so many stores for foods, pavilion, urgent care.
Just something to do, really wish the fasc painting and games were there.
There is plenty of parking, not too busy compared to other plazas nearby.
Stopped in for some chips and a gallon of water great customer service
Nice shopping center, lots of great stores. Clean, and safe.
Nice center... I like the chocolate place...
Lots of good places to eat here.
