Started a membership so this is a first impression rating. It could change and it might not. So far I'm pretty impressed. The guy at the front desk seemed very knowledgeable in getting me started on the membership. I'm checking out the equipment it seemed like it was in great shape (no pun intended). The hook ups for the machines by the mirrors were a little unorganized but that's to be expected at a gym especially when there's a bunch to work with. And then I found out for the first time in my life what a hydromassage need was. I spent ten minutes on one and it was absolutely incredible. Probably the best massage I'd ever had. Started out a little intense but once you get used to it just relax every muscle in your body and let that bed work. It's really a great work of machinery. I'll be trying the massage chairs next when I go back. I also like the "no judgement" atmosphere. No matter what stage of your life you're in or how big or small you are nobody seemed to look at you funny or make you feel bad about how you look. You stick to yourself and your partner if you have one and get those gains in. I will say they are looking for a trainer. I know there are people who just start out and need direction. So if you're looking for a trainer or want to be, apply there.

I love coming to this location. It is super clean, the equipments are nice. The staff is attentive and super nice. I regret not visiting this location prior and making it my primary location. I have been going consistently and love the vibe there. I guess my constructive feedback would to have the smith machines more aligned to the mirrors, it would be really helpful to check for form while doing my workout. Also the women locker could use a full length mirror, the mirrors there don’t give the full picture and it’s only one main one outside the toilets. A lot of the girlies get ready there for work and everyone has to use that one small mirror. Lastly, it would be nice if we had a stock of toilet seat covers as we seem to always be out.

Talk to the manager? I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for almost a year now. Since covid started. No luck with that. Then I never receive an email of when the gym will be closed then reopen but I sure was charged for it. I’ve been calling and calling and no luck- the guy I spoke with last told me there’s so many of us and couldn’t send emails to all with updates. What?!?!!! But sure the bank accounts are charged!!! every single one of them- no problem there!!! Can’t even remember the last time I was at the gym must be over a year and half ago but I’m paying for it. At this point I don’t know what to do but maybe find a lawyer because I feel like they’re stealing my money.

I'm a member, have been a member of PF for years. I use the clubs all over the country and have always been more than happy to pay the $5 fee for a day pass. Not at this location. These crooks wanted $20. I explained I was a member and $5 was what I always paid. Not here the guy at the desked said, your not in our franchise. I looked at the Planet Fitness logo on his shirt and the room painted purple and yellow and thought, he's just not worth my time. You should upgrade to a Black membership, the simpleton said as I left. I thought, No I should upgrade to a better franchise. LA Fitness here I come

It's planet fitness, we all by now know what they are about. Gym memberships at a reasonable rate. What sets this one apart? First off the management here is amazing Steven and Donald are always there to help. With what's going on in the world right now they even have extra staff for sanitizing equipment. Speaking of equipment they have the newest equipment I've seen in a PF. If you're looking for a gym or already a member and in the area highly recommended. Also conviently located near the airport for out of state visitors looking for a close option.

Had surgery on my knee. Wanted to just suspend my membership, until I felt my knee was strong enough from PT to return. Was told by the two young kids working the desk that it took a doctor's letter to suspend. Doctor told me I know my body, and could return to the gym when I felt it was strong enough from PT. So, I canceled my Black membership, and will go to a gym that truly doesn't judge. To top it off the electronic paperwork I was emailed after canceling noted my reason to cancel was due to not using my membership enough. No judgement Zone?

This was my first time at the PF on Kentucky Ave. Donald (assistant manager) was so kind and helpful upon my arrival. He informed me of the app and showed me the precautions this location is taking regarding Covid. The whole facility was very clean and I really liked the open layout. I went tanning and the bulbs were really nice too. I could visually see a difference in my tan, something i was not experiencing at the other PF I was going to. I even made this location MY new gym. Thanks Donald, and PF for your professionalism.

This was one of my favorite Planet Fitness locations (and I have been to many). The equipment was well spaced out, locker rooms were clean, and staff was helpful. I wish all Planet Fitness locations were like this one. My home location gym is well designed and spaced out, but the locker rooms are dated, not in good shape, and never very clean so the one thing I hope most is that other Planet Fitness locations will take note of this location and make the necessary adjustments to bring all of the locations to this level.

This place is always clean and tidy, and I love that there aren't many people here crowding around and waiting on equipment like other gyms (that could be because I workout at 5 am). But overall it's a nice gym and it helps me keep my routine. My only complaint would be the workers. Sometimes in the mornings the workers are rude and they act as if they don't want to be there. Okay it's early and you may be tired, I get it.. but don't let that effect your job and how you treat people.

I just love this Planet Fitness. The Staff Are Always So Incredibly Nice & Sooo Helpful. Today I couldn't get my lock off & they jumped right in to help & were so very nice about it. They are so nice each time I go to workout & I love the no judgement. At age 56 & trying to lose weight & get back in shape it's a god send. The equipment is awesome & if you're into free weights they have that too. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. A BIG THANK YOU to all your incredible staff

To the management of PF You deserve employees that have good customer relationship, not a guy like the manager. He is so rude. Business triumph on excellent customer service. I think this guy is set to send so many customers away from this location. Watch it. There are particular 2 ladies that denied me using the chair massage for 10mins and rude on different occasions, the service I enjoyed when other staff members are on duty. Please I need this to be addressed.

Used to be the best planet fitness in Indiana, and I've been to a lot of them around the country (travel for work) and then last month they updated everything, which is way worse, the old machines were ten times better. But that's not the biggest problem, they moved the cable machines and smith machines over a few inches, AWAY FROM THE MIRRORS. can't do cable flys and watch form anymore, same with squats. Also the Smith machines are out of square

Very rude staff, if I could of gave a zero I would have. District manager never contacted me back after I lefted several messages. Plus my membership was canceled after the manager came out of the facility in the parking lot to challenge me he didn't like what I said so he abused his power. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I had a membership at this location for 6 years along with two other family members.

It's alright I go cause it's close by. The staff is pretty cool, obviously the machines aren't the greatest etc. Biggest beef with these types of gyms is people don't know how to have proper etiquette.....it's always the ones barely working out that wanna take up limited equipment for long periods of time etc. Not even strength training and they wanna take 5 minutes between sets lol

Planet Fitness on Kentucky Ave is awesome! The employees are great! Helpful, courteous and genuine. Eli is a fantastic personal trainer! The gym is exceptionally well ran! Clean, organized and efficient...I can't believe I waited so long to join this gym! I recommend this gym to anyone looking for a lifetime fitness location!

!st day working out at this location. The gentleman there (didn't get his name) was great! I have issues with my knee and he was so helpful and showing me different machines to use and answered all my questions. I told me about the new massage chairs and how everything worked. I will be coming back for certain!! Thank you!!

Biggest PF I've been to. Absolutely huge. Can always find something to use. Clean. This place has my favorite kind of pullup bar x2. My only qualm with this gym is that they lack a certain machine with which to work side delts. But none of the PF I have been to have that machine. Overall very good gym.

Very helpful staff. The guy working the front desk this morning (5am) knows his company and has given me very help information that I’ve yet to receive from any other staff member working for the corporation. A much needed praise, promotion and increase in pay is very much needed

The place is nice and clean and very well cared for. If you can get past the attitude of some of the employees like Trevor had when I went in then you should be quite happy there. After all you only have to deal with the unfriendliness for a short time.

Everytime I take a late shower the water is ice cold men's side has hot shower woman's is cold please do something to fix this there not supposed to shut off till 11pm but off by 10:30pm I pay please fix and then I will put five stars till then 3

Trying to shed some weight that I've gained over the past few years. This place is clean, the staff is not pushy. Not typically overly busy, I've seen people of all shapes and sizes. Seems like a good place for me to start this journey

It was all ways fresh food and was served in a timely manner the only complaint was the French fries all ways to much salt the only item on the menu that you can only taste the salt cant even taste the fri. But that's all mc donalds.

I have been so leery joining a gym because I have a long way to go to achieve my goals. I feel like I have truly found a home at Planet Fitness! Employees are so nice and helpful and the customer service is top-notch. Keep it up!

Such a great clean place it is a safe place to work out suntan relax in hydro massage beds and massage chairs showers and restroom smell and look clean I was Always told if it smells clean it's clean soo yeah good equipment

Decent sized location with a good variety of equipment. Usually clean and organized. They have problems with finding morning staff that can consistently open on time. Beware of you’re an early bird gym goer.

Clean,building in good shape,machines and equipment in great shape,most modern and spacious PF I've been to in Indy! You can't necessarily tell from the outside, but when you walk in you'll be impressed!

My experience is terrible but I believe it is a none intentional inconvenience.. But no urgency in solving problem Still the atmosphere is great for trying to get healthy without judgements or pressure

Used to to to PF on Madison Ave since it was closer than this one. I am impressed. Locker room is huge clean and maintained. The gym is huge and has so many machines. Most even have digital counters

I can't be inside with a one year old sitting down waiting on my wife to tan!! I'd like to Kno the rule on that one... They made me and a ONE YEAR OLD go outside and wait! Unnecessary if u ask me!

Clean gym, equipment is in good condition, most staff are friendly, other patrons don’t bother you or even make eye contact. Everyone is lost doing their own thing. Perfect. Love the hydrabed.

My favorite planet fitness around. The employees really work to keep it clean. The equipment is still like brand new. There’s quite a bit of space in between so it doesn’t ever feel crowded.

I love planet fitness. Such a convenience in how they operate. They are always cleaning and maintaining the equipment. The one I visit on Kentucky Avenue has a pleasant staff.

I really like this gym and really enjoy working out here. Cory is the greatest and definitely was the best thing about the gym. He's just so super sweet

I like to go early in the morning because in the afternoon there are a lot of people and you have to wait for the machine to be free to do the exercise

The Kentucky Avenue Planet Fitness is so nice! It's spacious, clean and the staff is so friendly! Best central Indiana location!

Love how I can tan and workout.. I’ve never had to wait on a machine or bed. I also love the option for the massage bed/chair!

Very clean, high quality equipment, not loud and over crowded. Needs more mirrors in front of free weights and cable machines.

They cut the shower curtains so people wouldn’t take showers there. I took a video and pictures. I’m calling corporate.

The equipment is all rusty, the girl at the front try’s to keep the place clean put the equipment is old and broken.

This is a good location. Friendly staff. Never busy at the times I go. Finally getting back to normal hours.

Customer service is not a priority in so many place today but Planet Fitness makes every guest a priority
