I alternate between this gym and the OP location nearer to my house which isn't open late on weekends. This one is nice and everything, never had a problem with staff or equipment however there is absolutely no cold water at this place. I've been here a few times over the last 3 weeks and tried to fiddle with the temperature settings and after about 3 minutes of running normal room temp water, from the lowest position of the shower knob to the highest position the temperature does not change from "spits out steam like dragonfire" level. Maybe have the local team look into their plumbing? Maybe the cold line is blocked or something? Either way would be nice to have a temperate shower for once. I always come out of the shower looking as red as a lobster but you do what you gotta do cause I ain't leaving this place smelling smelly. Other than that, a great gym. I will be back, if only for the convenience of being on my commute home.

First it was I asked them about the veteran waiver for the annual fee and they all gave me the runaround saying they didn’t know anything. So I went to another one and they said something different as well. At the end of it all, they only ended up making it 10.00 instead of waiving it completely. So I’ve been going here since I’ve moved from GA and today I’m on the phone and a trainer by the name of Tiffany that works there comes up to me and tells me to take my call to the lobby. I’m pissed because other times I’ve came on the phone, no one said anything to me. On my way out she’s sitting there not in the lobby on her computer so what’s the difference. The place has too many rules, it’s not a real gym if you have to refrain from grunting and being loud. No way I’m paying my money to workout here and it’s a wall full of rules including the staff with their own. Definitely will be switching to somewhere else.

Update: I emailed the below address and from what I gathered is that other planet fitness can accept prepayment, to include cash. This specific planet fitness choses not to offer those options for w.e. reason. ----------------------------------- The only form of membership payment they accept is from a checking account. After trying to negotiate other forms of payment, even offering to pay up to year in advance, they refused. They do not do daily rates, just 3 free entries every 90 days. Although you can use credit cards when buying food and drinks. Racks are smith machines (no free weights) . The only form of free weights observed were the dumbbells. I found the other machine weights helpful; they count your reps and rest periods. Lots of cardio options.

It's always going to be about the staff, for me. I'm a relationships person. So, when I'm greeted by name as I walk in the door, it has a big impact on how I perceive the environment or state of affairs /working conditions in the club. That, in turn, has an impact on the quality of my workouts. Happy staff, means happy working environment, means members are treated well! You all do a great job at this location. It's clean, the equipment is in good working order (except for that weird drip on one of the leg extensions, but that seems like an HVAC issue), I prefer the amenities here to any of the other locations on this side of town.

Everything! From the moment I walk in the door to the smiling helpful faces of the staff. The staff positively impacts everyone's comfortably. The machines are always working and there are so many things to do. I am still finding new things after 3 months of not missing a day. The spa facilities are always clean and working. I utilize the tanning and the hydro massage bed (undesirabley good). The restrooms are always clean, maintained and the locker area is plentiful. I even got my husband to start going occasionally over the last few weeks. I would recommend planet fitness to EVERYONE!

I have a black card, I attend the Cedar Hills location.. I love that it is small and not as crowded when i go, however, I do alternate between the gym and walking.. today was a gym day due to heat..the base/bottom of machines really need to be cleaned... they look awful, today I just kept looking at how dusty and dirty the bottom /base of that bicycle was..like when was the last time they were actually wiped down by employees.

The gym, black card spa, and bathrooms are always very clean. Staff is always friendly and greets you when you enter and leave. I have a neck/ shoulder injury, so I'm more limited on the ways I'm able to safely exercise. I stick to the bicycle because it doesn't trigger any pain in my back. When I have muscle spasms or stiffness in my neck or shoulder, the hydrotherapy bed and massage chair always alleviate my discomfort.

Very unprofessional GM and reps. It's worth the extra 5 minutes going to the Normandy or 103rd locations. Not people friendly and no knowledge of equipment or policies. GM is a meathead and I actually thought he wanted to fight me after he followed me to my car. I've been at several gyms but never felt intimidated like I do there. It's a good gym but it's safe to say I'm done there and am going back to Bailey's.

Equipment is great, the layout is wonderful, it’s never really too crowded, the music is at the right volume, and the people there are generally very friendly. The management of solid, and the workers accessible and very friendly as well. It’s in a great location and easy to access 24 hours a day. I like having a gym open 24 hours a day. Grant is an awesome manager.

Never too busy. Staff are really nice and helpful. The only issue is that there is a smell to it. As if it was bought after water damage and remodeled after. It has a consistent "paint/mold" smell. Wife gets me in with guest pass. Parking lot has plenty of spaces and located in relative privacy.

Kind of want to leave a terrible review just to keep people away so it doesn't get packed in here, but that would be selfish. This place is very clean, staff is friendly, equipment is all brand new and are the latest models. It's a really nice gym.

I had to check out this new Planet Fitness on Blanding Boulevard. It's a typical Planet Fitness layout, and everything is new. The staff was accommodating in showing me around the new design. I will be using this club in the future and,

Every single treadmill needs to be realigned. Not sure how they got as bad as they are in only three months of the gym opening . They all shake like those old time machines that have a band to shake your stomach fat. It’s bad.

I have a relaxing time while working out. No pressure placed on me about using equipment due to other people being impatient. Lots of equipment to choose from. Just wish they had a few free weights and bigger dumbbells

Terrible service came at 10pm and could bring my guest in or even get to make them an account due to how badly I was treated as a customer won’t be coming again.

I've been going here since not long after they opened. The facility is well-taken care of, the staff is friendly and it's never overly crowded.

Unfortunately, a large portion of customers at this gym consist of younger kids who congregate and take out 1/4 at the gym at any given time.

Very clean brand new gym. All equipment was most newest models and in a nice set up. Staff was very nice. May make this not new home gym

This place is under construction the equipments are removed from the building for remodeling purposes I think. Update from 10/19/23

Great facility, new equipment, including the hybrid tanning beds. The staff on Sunday morning were phenomenal! (4/23/23)

The staff is super friendly and everything is always really clean! By far my favorite planet fitness I have been to!
