2 of us went on an early Saturday aft for my mom's bday dinner. We both decided on the full rack Greek ribs meal for 38$ and an unknown up charge of 4$ for a ceaser salad total $42. Unfortunately it was probably one of the worst rib meals we ever had. The "rack" of ribs came precut which I am not a fan of to begin and was surprised. The lemon potatoes were not dry and were the best things on the plate. The veg was under cooked and cold and the ribs were terrible. Once some food was moved around you could tell that the plate was placed under a salamander to heat up as the ribs were charred and tasted burnt, as well there were 2 potatoes that were black on top due to the intense heat from the top. You can see some char in the picture but there are a few pieces that are more charred under the ribs and there is a second potato in the back that is fully black but unable to see in the photo. The ribs were dry, chewy and basically had to knaw off the bone. The flavors of the char is that acidic burnt lemon flavor that you get when you burn lemon...it was very unpleasant. I am never one to leave food on my plate but neither of us ate 1/2 of what was there. We were asked a few bites in if things were OK and at that time we basically ate the potatoes and seemed fine. The plates were cleared hardly eaten, and had mentioned that the ribs were burnt and an apology was given and that was the end of that. This review is mostly for management to take a look at what is being put out . Clearly these ribs were old, dried out and reheated until burnt in a manner that you could clearly tell was inappropriate just by looking at the plate and smelling it. These were definitely not fresh ribs! When you pay 100$ for 2 dinners you would expect some decent quality.

We eat here about once a month and keep coming back because it's good food in a warm comfortable place with great staff. There is a lounge area that's great for game nights but that serves the full menu as well. There is even a small area (up 2 small steps) off the dining area that is excellent for bigger groups who want a little privacy. The main dining area is clean and has a lovely warm fireplace in one corner. The patio is open in the summer but I've never sat there so I can't speak to what it's like. The food is Greek influenced but they serve standard fare like burgers, sandwiches, steaks, etc. Their soups are especially yummy but they can be quite filling. They have a huge Greek salad and make a great burger. Their Greek ribs are a highlight, as is the chicken souvlaki. They know how to cook veal well, which is harder to find that you'd think, and offer a variety of specials each week. A guilty pleasure of mine is the grilled cheese & bacon sandwich. Two kinds of cheese, just the right amount of goo and yummy for when you need comfort food. If you still have room (the portions are quite large) they offer a rotating selection of drool-inducing desserts. This is the best of the Pony Corral group in my opinion, and feels like the kind of place that every neighborhood should have. Now if they just offered sweet potato fries.....
We were disappointed in our dining experience at the Pony Coral on Nairn. The atmosphere was great Rich furniture dark and solid. We arrived at 7:00 on a Wednesday night and they were clearly open. We ordered from the mains menu 2 Chicken Breasts , fries vegetables and rice. The place had only 8 patrons. We ordered coffee to start and when it came it was not hot. When Our server came back we asked for a fresh cup and mentioned it was warm. A apology came but when the 2nd cup came it was the same. Note to self if the coffee does not cut it. Pay the bill , tip the server and go home. The meal came and The chicken was warm the vegetables were soggy the fries were old and cold. The soup was good. My partner left over 50% of the food and I touched only 1 French fry. The garlic toast was the only taste left in my mouth at the end of the meal. We voiced our disappointment about the food. The server went back to talk to the manager. The Manager must have been really busy because our server came back with a $5.00 reduction in cost but no manager. We did not feel valued as a customer and will not recommend visiting this establishment again.

I enjoyed my meal. Even if it wasn't what I asked for? The server was ok? She didn't seem to listen. I had asked for the new year's eve dinner special (which I pointed out to her on the menu) instead I was given a 7oz steak with mushroom sauce? I was hoping for the seafood on top with asparagus? I believe it was steak Oscar. I was overly thrilled with the President's Choice tonic water in my gin and tonic. But I settled for it because they didn't have any mint to make a Mojito. They grow their own mint so it's only a seasonal drink. Um, ok? When my husband asked for a Spanish coffee she without hesitation said, we don't have that! It was clearly on the menu. When we pointed it out she said, oh, I can make that. ??? She seemed combative. When I said I didn't really like my drink she wasn't much help. No problem ma'am I make you something else? No, she didn't even give me the option. Basically said it must be the brand of tonic water. Then proceeded to bring us the can. For $7 a drink it looked cheap. A few other things to mention but I think I've said enough. Overall, good meal. Satisfactory service.
Went to this location a few months back. The waitress was high as a kite, and couldn’t even function on planet earth, she tried to double charge us because she was too high to remember what we ordered. Even though she had wrote it down. All our food was cold. The seafood melt I ordered was like someone took a hair dryer to the cheese then put it back in a fridge for an hour. Went back today to give them the benefit of the doubt. When we entered the door we waited 10 minutes to be seated, then when we requested a booth, the hostess rolled her eyes and acted very rudely. We waited 15 minutes and no waitress came to our table to ask us if we wanted anything to drink, not even water. Even though they had sat other customers down in our section and they were helped immediately. Needles to say we left. We decided to go to toukies located in club regent. The service there is way better and not much out of the way from pony corral. And lastly, needless to say, I won’t be returning to pony corral.
I had dinner here with my spouse, and we were seated very quickly. The waitress was not the fastest for any portion of our stay. My spouse got a water cup with lipstick all over it. The waitress had to be asked for drink refills as she was very rarely around. The food ordered was warm, not hot. The salad I ordered had steak with seasoning dumped on top to the point I was eating clumps of powder seasoning. It was sad. The salad would have been passable. Otherwise, it had little too much dressing, but it was still edible. His burger/poutine was swimming in gravy that was so salty that it was almost inedible. The cheese was almost nonexistent, and the bacon was burned to the point of no flavor left. We spent over $75. We are not fussy, but we expect to get decent food for that price point.

Went there for dinner and had a good meal, our waitress was friendly and professional. However, the other waitress, a young brunette working patio tonight around 8:30 was absolutely unprofessional and made our experience terrible and could not wait to get out. She was talking to a person at the bar very loudly about how people do not tip her enough and made a comment about a customer not tipping her enough because he was in a wheelchair and they did not have a way around so he would have to walk up the stairs. She said that the reason he didn’t tip her is because he “actually had to walk” up the stairs in a very demeaning tone. This continued on all night talking bad about customers and how they do not tip her enough. I honestly and very disappointed in the staff at this location and will not be returning. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have never ever delt with such a horrible experience with such atrocious service. We went in as a four top meeting our other party of two seated in the lounge on a quiet night. I ordered the blackened sirloin and asked if I could have it with the Greek salad instead of ceaser salad as I have a MAJOR fish and seafood allergy. The server than went on to argue with me that ceaser had no ingredient that could affect me .... there is anchovies I told her and was answered with an eye roll. Our overall experience just went down hill from there between cold food and never being asked if we wanted more beverages our server when she would finally come around stopping one to two people in and than just turning around to answer the phone. I would not recommend or go back to this place ever!!! If I could give this a 0 I would!!!

Went there for my Dads 75 bday party on Saturday. The worst service I’ve ever had in my life!!! We had pitchers of water on our tables but had to ask for glasses when we got our drinks. We had to ask for menus and had to ask what the specials were. We had to ask another waitress if our waitress was coming back because we were waiting to order and she had disappeared. So it took 1 1/2 hours just to place our orders. When the food came half of us got our food and were almost done when the other half got theirs. The kids had ordered chicken fingers but didn’t get any dip and it wasn’t even offered to them. We were never checked on or asked anything at any point of our experience. I would never recommend going for any type of special function. And even after our terrible experience we all still had to pay the 18% gratuity. It was definitely not worth ANY gratuity!!!! One positive note...the food was good.
Went there yesterday night with a couple of friends to celebrate. For starters, for how dead it was at the time we were there (around 9-10 PM), It somehow still took over 40 minutes to get our food. That, coupled with the fact that there was no napkins or forks for almost anyone at the table and we had a group of 5 so it was seemingly unorganized. I definitely believe the long wait time was due to our waitress being distracted talking to her co-workers because after waiting 40 minutes, I asked on the wait time of the food, she mentioned she was gonna go and check and it was suddenly ready. The food itself is good enough not to complain about but it's honestly nothing special. However, the drinks are pretty good so I'll give them that but it's not enough to make up for the terrible service that we got yesterday.

We arrived on our 1-hour lunch right at 12. We let the server know that we were on lunch. Our drinks came right away. 12$ for an Apple Cider! Seemed pretty steep. Anyway, We asked the server multiple times when our meals were coming. It was 12:50 and we asked if we could pay before getting our food to save some time since it hasn't arrived yet (that was a mistake). We ended up leaving our table and asking for our food at the bar counter. Once we went back to our workplace at 1:20, I found out they didn't even get my order right. My coworkers' food was not great either, soggy gyros, mediocre chicken sandwiches and a dry corned beef sandwich. We all ordered salads instead of fries with the 3$ upcharge. There seems to be a lack of communication between the kitchen and the front counter. The restaurant didn't even look busy. Terrible lunch service, wouldn't recommend.
Worst experience ever, ordered Greek style ribs, it says it comes with a salad, but they charge you for a salad, a salad which they didn't send with my other. Steamed veggies that were not properly steamed the rice portion was small but tasted good, the best part of the meal. As for the lemon potatoes well you got four wedges that would make up the smallest potato. The ribs were just ok! As for the second meal a dish of spaghetti it was incredibly dry no sauce at al,l tasted as if it had sat under a heat lamp for a while. And last but not least the complete rip off of a French onion soup, a portion that wouldn't even equal two cups of broth, for $8 yes $8! It's flavoured water I mean come on. I will never visit any of their locations or order from skip the dishes from this establishment and I would sincerely advise anyone else from ordering from here as well.
All you can eat ribs are served on a plate covered with fries. On top of the fries are 3 pieces of delicious BBQd ribs. Coleslaw is also included. Initial serving was too much for me to finish it all. There was so much on the plate, I was able to finish 2 ribs only. No need to go for more. Price was right, atmosphere was pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable. Serving staff was very polite, friendly and attentive. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. I will definitely go back again, soon.

I would not recommend this location to anyone. Absolutely awful service and bad customer service on top of that. It took them 1hour to make chicken tenders and wings. That should only take 15-25 mins. Waitress payed no attention to us. It’s like we were invisible, but she and the other waitresses paid attention to other tables. We got tried of waiting and went to just pay for our drinks. And they had the nerve to ask if we wanted to take the food to go. Like F*** off pony corral on Nairn. What I didn’t understand is if you know as a waitress that you have a lot on your plate. See if you can get another waitress to cover your table. So at least they’re receiving good customer service too. And it was my first and last time going to any pony corral.
Stopped by as we were in the neighbourhood. I have eaten here before & enjoyed it, but this time it wasn't as good. The food was alright, but they nickel & dime you for every little thing here‼ Want more salad dressing? That's an extra dollar!! Want a refill on your ice tea? That is extra! Want a refill on your coffee? That is extra!! I was scared to go to the bathroom, I expected to find that on my bill as well!! The part that annoyed me the most was that the waitress didn't warn me about this, I mean this is the only place i have been to where i have been charged extra for these things!! It wasnt listed anywhere in the menu that you would pay for these extras. I wonder if that is even legal!! I won't be returning here anytime soon!!
Went for our anniversary yesterday. We have been in the past. Disappointed. Service was not good ...there were 3 waitresses and 3 people in the lounge, a few on the patio. We were seated and waited for friends. But we were not offered any beverage etc. The three waitresses were engaged in talking to the patron at the bar. Once we got drinks...and order taken... things did not take long to come out. Unfortunately the appetizers arrived WITH the salad and soups. And we were not even finished those and meals arrived. The appetizers were still being eaten. Food was not hot...and quality seems to have slipped from previous visits.

Not impressed. Soft drinks $3.50 with NO REFILLS. What restaurant does this?? Chicken was RAW. I mean half pink raw. The waitress admitted it. BUT, she didn't even take it off our bill (4 some, $140 total) until we suggested it! The Pony on Pembina has always been a good experience for me in the past, but my first time to this location was terrible, and I do not recommend it. The smoke breaks the waitresses took together right outside the front window from where we were (trying) to eat was also a nice added bonus. Friday night dinner at around 7pm, and the place was less than half full. Gee, wonder why... And those food prices. Jeez you guys, you aren't the Keg...not in SO many, many ways.
i order from skip, and usually get the Nachos El Grande, its quite good and for ~$20 you get a massive portion that usually lasts me ~3 days (and im a pretty "big" person), its definitely the best nachos I've had(that i didn't make myself) although they could give a few more containers of salsa and sour cream(you only get 1 of each) as they are quite small given the size of the nachos themselves. overall its the only place i trust to get good and sizable nachos for that price. oh and they are super tasty too, lots of cheese and i think its chili running through the center, though the additional "hamburger" for $4 is not really worth it, the nachos themselves are great though.
DONT GO HERE FOR WINGS!!! We usually go here for wings every couple of months, but tonight will be the last time. The wings were so salty, they never used to be like this. So salty that they aren’t edible. We left more than half our wings on the table. Our tongues were numb for hours after. We tried 3 flavours and they were all the same. I would have said something but they originally brought the wrong flavour of wings and I didn’t want to complain a second time. I don’t understand how other people haven’t complained. They were so terrible. Service wasn’t very good. We were so thirsty and it took a while for our server to come back so we could order another drink.
I had the all you can ear ribs - actually riblets. They were terrible - very tough, barely edible, so all you can eat??? Who'd want to eat that. Server never came back until she was ready to prepare the bill - so had you wanted more of the ribs, there was no way to order them. I complained about the ribs to her - she offered to bring out more, but by that time, everyone else in the group was done and waiting for the bill. Two of us in the group had ribs, both of us thought they were terrible.

I went for nachos and wings with a couple of friends. The first thing that went wrong was my friend's ice tea was like watered down sugar water with a slice of lemon. When we asked to have it replaced with another the waitress came back and told us they were out of ice tea and gave my friend a sprite. The nachos were horrible. Large chunks of ground beef with cheese, tomato chunks and chopped onions, along with some unappetizing chili. I thought for $25 it would have jalapeños, green and red peppers and green onions. The nachos were also overcooked, almost burned. The wings were ok.I had coffee which was also not the best. We won't be going back.
We come in and order our drinks. We order calamari. She forgets the calamari . We ordered two drinks and calamari how can you screw that up. Then we order a diet coke . She brings over a tiny glass bottle for $3.50 are you serious. What is this place a canteen. My wife asks for more lemon potatoes no rice they put the rice on the plate then take it off and give no extra potatoes. Then my meal comes with vegetables and they're raw. It might not be the end of the world but spending 70 plus dollars and you can't get the order right, under cooked vegetables and no refills on diet coke what a joke. Avoid this place and go to Applebees!
The staff and waitress was amazing put the chicken corden Bleu was just a grilled chicken best with a slice of Ham and cheese slapped on top they should of sliced the chicken in half and put in center. And no handicap wash room as I wear a knee and have trouble bending knee so need extra room and also bathroom door were not handicap assiable as door nit wide enough fir stroller as had baby with Me .My fiance order chicken parmesan and was dry ,lemon potatoes were good, but vegetables cut too big like tomatoes chunk's in salad

I convinced someone to come with me there. They said the food was not good. I had the all you can eat ribs and they were the worst ribs ever. They were fatty and hard to eat because they were not cooked long at all. I wanted mashed instead of fries and the waitress said they don't have any and all i could get was fries with my meal. Well the fries were not even cooked. And the waitress said oh sorry we are busy thats why they didnt cook the fries long enough. And never offered anything for the crapy meal i had. I will never go back. Oh and the restaurant was not even busy at all maybe half full.
I cannot believe how many times skip the dishes orders are WRONG!! You guys can't even put the right cakes in an order when you only have 4 types to choose from. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to order cake and I either don't receive it at all or I get the wrong kind. You seriously need to teach your staff the difference because they don't know what they are serving! If I order food with cake, guaranteed I won't get the cake. Tonight I ordered 2 Ferrero rocher cakes with an Oreo cheesecake...yet again I recieved a chocolate cake. Always always wrong. I'm done ordering from here.
I went on Sunday around 22:30 pm , place was quite . Food was very salty, soup was mushy and not hot ask attend to change soup , she wasn’t pleased and said this is how we make it . We asked for replacing it to salad she gave a rude reply ‘ok’ and came back with salad and just left it on the table without saying anything . After that she didn’t even ask us about anything else .. After that she just came for taking dishes . Overall that was the worst customer service we have ever experienced!!!! Not coming back here for sure !!!! Owner needs to hire some pleasant staff there
Staff took great care of our team! We had our holiday lunch here for our work team. We made reservations and ordered ahead. There were about 15 of us. When most of our party arrived, they the food was ready to be served. Staff kept the food warm for my teammates who were running a bit late. We all got the food we wanted. Staff was very attentive to our requests, kept checking on us regularly but not too intrusive. I had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich + fries which I enjoyed. I actually finished my plate of fries and which I usually don’t.
The only reason I gave this place a second chance is because it is close to my house. The service was terrible, the food was disgusting. Three people from my group sent their meal back. The food it was replaced with was not any better. We went to watch a Pay-Per-View fight and the waitress kept interrupting us, asking us if we could "square up" now because it was going to be very busy soon when the fight was over. Paid with cash and was not even offered my change, when requested my change waitress asked how much do you want.
We were one of four tables in the restaurant, got served cold food. Gravy had a skin on it, cheese no longer melted and the fries cold. It must have been sitting there 10 minutes. Very disappointing. Waitress offered to reheat. We declined as I didn’t want recooked fries or microwaved chicken. No offer to waive some of our meal. As someone who used to work in the hospitality I was very offended. Will not be back, and not recommend. The food has potential and would have been good if it was not the same temperature as outside.
It was one of the worse experiences for my family and I. The food was disgusting and they never come and asked if we'd like more coffee. The staff and waitresses DID NOT WEAR MASKS. We found it overcrowded in the restaurant. The waitresses dress in the shortest skirts which is not appropriate. If they want to dress like this go work at Hooters or local bar. We will never be going back there. We will be calling in regards to them not wearing mask and also the dress code for the waitresses. Very disappointed customers
Ok so haven't been to this location in a few years... unfortunately I probably won't come for a few more again. Menu wasn't anything special & nothing really stood out as a need to have/try. Food portions were a good size tho. I will say I'll give 5 stars to the chefs for their soup of the day - pickle chicken soup. I was skeptical but holy $#!t was it sooo good. Who knew pickles & chicken made such a perfect combo!

Should have gone to McDonald’s instead. French onion soup: onions still crunchy and wasn’t even really hot. Pepper steak: should have cued on “I’ll see if we have any sauce”. Whole peppercorns? Lemon potatoes were too tangy to even eat, lemon juice poured on potatoes? Veggies were still semi raw and definitely not el dente. Took the Caesar salad home. Not what I expected for a $100 meal. Never going back.

I went here with a friend for endless riblets for $15.99 the first ones that came out were amazing. Fall off the bone with great flavor from the sauce. After that the rest tasted almost like they were made quite some time before and were reheated or under a heat lamp. They were still fall off the bone. But the flavour was lacking and they had a strange chewy like fat texture once off the bone. So your better off just getting a single order and enjoy the first good round of riblets.
Salmon salad was good. The steak sandwich was terrible. While it was a large piece of angus sirloin, I think, it was surprisingly tough, to the point that I almost choked on a piece. I would suggest using a smaller, more tender piece of angus. Less would be more with the steak sandwich. Drinks were a bit pricey, lower at BP. Should consider having a happy hour on drinks and appetizers. Service was good. Will not return as prices were high compared to restaurants of the same type.
We came to try their poutine week special, the Golden Boy Poutine. It had a full sized cheeseburger inside and onion rings on top and was really good and filling. Unfortunately, it was the only good dish in our order. The French Onion soup, chicken cordon bleu, and Greek-style ribs were all too salty, I can even feel the salt crumbling in my mouth as I was eating my soup. Will not be going back to eat in the foreseeable future =(

Was expecting to have a great meal. Unfortunately the supposed steak with Madagascar peppercorn sauce was missing the sauce. Must have had a whole bottle of peppercorn poured on to steak though. Took one bite and damn near choked to death. Someone should teach the chef to actually make the sauce. Would have tamed the flavour down a bit Otherwise service was wonderful and the Calamari was delicious.

Well i would like to say that me and my partner and our friend came in for super on February, 25,2022 .we all order the rib Special. And what i can say is never again. The food was cold and even hot .there add said the ribs where fall off the bone .that was not the case at all.and it cam with fries the fries where cold and tasted old .and the was slow and not that friendly . I will keep on going to Montana's for all you can eat ribsThat's they know how to cook ribs
Server was attentive, food was brought hot and promptly. Vinegar was watered down and tasteless. $3.50 for a 355ml bottle of Coke. $18 for a burger plate, poor tasting processed cheese and soggy onion rings on top. We come every few years to see if things have changed but it seems to be in a steady decline as a light meal is getting more expensive and the quality is not what it was a decade or more ago. Sad to see a Winnipeg institution a shell of its former self.
This place has much to be desired. We decided to order an app (1/2 price.. $6) ribbees..took 20 mins to come out and were dry, salty and overcooked. Then the meal came out...the burger I ordered ($16), had processed cheese on it!!! The burger itself was ok, but lacked a lot for that price. My bf ordered spaghetti was also ok (but lacked) and the garlic toast was rock hard!! Save your money and eat somewhere else. Not worth the prices they charge!!!
I have never had such bad service or such a horrible meal. The waitress we saw 2x the manager brought our drinks another waitress brought our mains and had to request the salad that was supposed to come in the meal. We were never even asked how anything was. There 5 tables of customers counting us. Never ever would consider paying $138 for this dining experience or meal.

My daughter and I went for a late lunch. While we enjoyed our meal, we were disappointed in the price for value. $44 + $3 tip for a $14 appetizer (barely enough for two), 1 small bowl soup for $8, 2 tea for $7.50 , and a $10 thinly sliced piece of cheesecake. For that price we could have purchased a whole cake. This is the main reason we "rarely" dine here, and probably won't be again. The restaurant and lounge were empty. I wonder why?
Portions have shrunk. Prices are out of control. Farrero roche cake was dry. No free refills on fountain drinks. They all cost $4. Very high prices for subpar quality. Most expensive menu meal is the $86 to $89. Insane. We got an appetizer to share. Service is iffy. Felt rushed to order but they took their sweet time after we ate. Even the mints are stale.

Service was awesome, everyone who came to the table was pleasant and super nice. My only issue with the whole meal was the simulated bacon bits in the caesar salad. I packed it up and gave it to another family member when we got home. I personally love bacon, moreso than some family members lol, the simulated bits threw me off, but otherwise great job guys. Will def come back and try those desserts out. The cakes looked deadly.
Went for a late lunch on Sunday with my partner & his son & daughter in law. The waitress was prompt & very friendly. Each of us ordered a different entree and all came out hot & delicious. Portions are large so you don’t mind paying the price. Next time the kids are back in Winnipeg they definitely want to go back. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

You can feel this restaurant slipping slowly downward. Peter, start taking care of business. The food is becoming 'hit and miss', I want a copy of the work schedule do I can only come when the good cook is working. The seats and decor neefs an overhaul. I'm getting tired of apologising for my guests sinking down in your seats so that only their noses are at table height. Put some spring in the seats.
Food was great. But for some reason they forgot to make my burger. Ordered 4 items for my family. When we got there they did not make it. So we had to wait. They made the order and than when we got home. They forgot to put it in with the rest of the bags. So not only did we have to wait twice. We had to go back and pick it up a second time. Food was wonderful but the experience was a horrible one
I love this restaurant normally, however, I've never ordered from this location and will probably never order here again. I decided to get skip the dishes and stay in tonight but when I got my order the portions were super small and cold, the fries were really stale and menu items were missing from my order. Definitely NOT worth the 50 bucks I spent on that meal. Super disappointing.
We ordered through Doordash. The description of our sandwiches said coleslaw was included, but no coleslaw came with the order. Description says "hand cut fries" but the fries were clearly not hand cut. The French Onion soup was ice cold (the cheese on top wasn't even melted). I have always enjoyed the Reuben sandwich here, but literally everything we ordered was disappointing and soggy.
The service was great and the food was even better. Highly recommend the chicken cordon bleu. The lemon potatoes are amazing. By far best I've ever had. Drinks are very inexpensive. Really good portion sizes. I was surprised when the bill came, I thought it would cost more for everything. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall a really good experience!
We hadn’t been here for several years. Shared the chicken souvlaki pita and we had about one bite of chicken per half shared. Very disappointed. Also soft drinks are still over priced and refills are extra. Fries were good

Do not eat here. Food is the worst I've had in a long time. French fries are mcain frozen fries. Coleslaw is mushy trash. Calamari was undercooked and disgusting. Service was terrible. I wouldn't feed this to my dog. Wasted 110 dollars for dumpster food.

First time coming to this place and definitely the last. Ordered a sandwich and got a piece of chicken?? Also, took 40+ minutes with minimal people in the restaurant. Not to mention they forgot to give my table cutlery and when asked, only grabbed for one person. Not impressed with this place.

Been here twice in a few weeks. Never been to a Pony Corral before. Cane with my son for an afternoon bit of (secret men’s business) & a bit of a feed on the patio with some ice cold barley sammiches for me & a lemonade for the lad. Great, friendly staff. The food was great & the patio was a treat. Thanks you lot. Had a great experience!
Other than the iced tea being like water the food was pretty good.Very generous portions.

great service great drinks and food. 18 percent is only added to the bill on large parties of 10 or more. 18 percent tip is not much when server has to tip out to kitchen and management and resturant needs to call in more employees for large parties. 18 percent of a 30 dollar bill is only 5.40 cents!! great family homey atmosphere !!!
Service is okay, only had drinks here and came for karaoke night. Love that they offer the karaoke and everyone seems to enjoy it. Also visited for a jets game, definitely enjoy the volume. If you’re looking for a quiet place to eat a meal alone, maybe go somewhere else. But if you’re feeling lively and social, check out pony!
Waitress was not friendly. Appetizer wasn’t any good.. our meals took a while to come out, bland & warm. Weren’t asked if we want desert…only 5 tables including us. Will not be back for $130.

A long wait for your food to come to the table but that seems to be the case these days due to staff shortages. Ordered a rueban and onion rings, it was ok but not spectacular and I found the prices a bit on the high side. Servers were friendly but will try some other establishments to compare food quality and pricing.
Waitress(?) was very rude...approached our table after we had been seated unattended for about 10 mins and sneered, " Did you seat yourselves!?" She appeared to be a Hostess/Bartender, kept walking past our table over the course of another 15 mins without giving basics like Menus! I won't be going back anytime soon!
Had breakfast and was great. Large portions and well prepared. Too bad they don't open until 11.

Food wasn't the worst but a great atmosphere. We sat in the lounge for my dad's birthday the other day, wasn't busy at all, unfortunately we had to keep asking for beers, and the only problem was the vegetables weren't cooked through and everything was a tad cold, other than that it was alright
The waitress was fast , friendly and food was hot and fast as well. Very pleased. Music was also bumping.

The food here is never a disappointment. The ladies that handle the order phone in orders and payments are always so pleasant and patient. They're consummate professionals regardless of the fact that the restaurant is empty, and deserve the recognition for maintaining standards throughout.
We went here when we were visiting my company's Winnipeg office. My wife had the fish and it was the worst fish she has ever had. It made her sick. My daughter had spaghetti and it was so shiny and rubbery she couldn't even eat it. One of our worst eating experiences in a long time.
One of my favourite lunch spots. I usually get the steak sandwich & fries with a beer. The food is tasty and the meal is filling. The service is usually quick and always friendly. It can be busy around the noon hour and into the evenings which is why I try to go in the afternoon.
If you want to go somewhere with good service and the staff members are cool people you can talk to, hit up Pony. Go often enough it'll probably feel like you're on Cheers lol jk but it's honestly one of the few places that feel like a neighborhood bar, they're cool people.
Excellent, haven't been there in years, but its still one of the best in town. If you have decided to spend 50 on a meal for two, and a day out. You might as well get your money worth. Excellent portions for the cost.

Had a super uncomfy experience. The chef came and interrogated my friend when she sent her food back. Very unprofessional and made everyone at the table feel awkward. Our server was super sweet and tried really hard to remedy the situation so nothing against her at all.
Waitress in available and i guess the shooters were more important then customers as far as im concerned dont sit in lounge steak over cooked cold slaw runny service sucks the blond worried about her hair and the guy at the corner of the bar more then anyone else

Got a great deal for all you can eat ribs. the ribs only we're unlimited, the fries and coleslaw were single serving, although I received plenty of both. The ribs were good, although the BBQ sauce drowned them. Friendly staff. Overall good experience
Ordered food at 12:04 and mentioned we were on lunch and need to move quickly. Food came out at 1:15. The beef gyro was soggy and clearly had been sitting for a while. Tops 25 people in the restaurant and plenty enough staff. Would not recommend
Decor nice and good parking..portions well sized. However the cream on cake was souring, a bit off, and could not eat the rest...we mentioned it to server as a courtesy for next person... thought they may adjust our bill somewhat but did not...
Good food, great service - a couple of slow orders ( we did have a large group) but overall a good evening.

We were seated and served quickly. The drinks and food were both good and were brought out in a timely fashion, we did not wait long at all. Our server was very polite and attentive to all our needs. Overall.... a great experience.
Met some friends for lunch and had great service. Our waitress was very patient with all of us. The food came quickly & there was a lot of it. Maybe too much for some. The waitress also kept our beverages topped up without delay.
Place was clean and nice. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. Food was backed up, so we ended up cancelling, it was not very busy for Saturday night. I would go back and hopefully can catch a live band show next time.
Great for groups with advance notice to allow time to get enough staff. Food was good. Sam knocked it out of the park in her service to us, which made the experience great.

Went for a class wind up. The food was good and the service was excellent for a large group. Tables were set up for us in a separate area when we arrived and the waiting staff could not have been friendlier or more efficient.
Not bad , it's been years since I've been there , I had a chicken ceasar salad , kind of chintzy on the chicken and bacon .

Update 2017. Had a chicken dinner here. It was cooked well but the steamed vegetables were raw. Good food. My wife enjoyed that it was a Pokestop so kept getting those powerballs every 5 minutes while we enjoyed the patio.
Food took long and wasn't cooked. Felt like a 3 star restaurant nothing close to the Keg.

Nachos are identical to 7 eleven quality... Especially the beef chili topping them which I didn't order but was charged for. Wings were okay, but the suicide hot ones were not much hotter than a typical Frank's sauce.
Manager nearly yelled at us that we could take a seat but there wouldn't be a server able to help is for a while. We sat in the lounge. Food tasted like it had been on a freezer for a while and was quickly heated up.
Excellent food very friendly staff and the waitress was very helpful with menu all around great experience, covid ID was first and foremost before dining ,nice to see there on top of that as well, Grat job on this
We had our company holiday dinner at the Pony Corral. Everyone really enjoyed their meal, service was great, and Liberty the General Manager made it very easy to organize it all. Thank you Pony Corral !
Waitress said that the outside Sade's table we couldn't be at cause of distancing which is fine.but then puts us at a table closer then the shaded one.kind of annoying.food was good.staff wasn't great.
I. D. checked and info given as we walked in. Was seated at a table and it's almost like I forgot how good food tastes when you go out since I was savoring every flavor in the food. Excellent meal.
Big servings. Friendly service. And a nice patio area to boot. I cam think of any downsides but it wasn't exceptional enough to get a 5 from me but I'm just picky. It's a very fine establishment.
The service was nice, the girls were efficient and the food was ok. The bathrooms need a good cleaning, and I had to send a couple of pieces of utensils back because they had food stuck to them.
Had a great time. Went for a birthday supper for the son in-law & grandson. The food was delicious and the service was first rate! Watched the jets game as well. Awsome well done Pony Corral!!
Great quality food, nice size portions at a reasonable price....been dining there for years and if you haven't give it a go! Family friendly too.
