I would think very, very carefully before engaging Tatnell painters. We recently purchased a property in Hobart which had been 'freshened up' by Tatnell before sale. I have since learned that this is code for unprofessional conduct, namely slapping paint over gloss enamel without any preparation. Even I know that this is a disaster waiting to happen. And yes, it's already starting to flake off! To make matters worse, on request, one of the owners came to look at his shoddy workmanship and was rude and abusive to my wife agressively stating that they 'just did what they were asked.' No responsibility taken. It appears they pick and choose when their 5 year warranty applies and when it doesn't so don't let it sway your decision. I've since had several 'professional' painters come and look at Tatnell's dodgy work and shake their heads. Without being prompted they both said, 'an honest, professional will decline 'freshen up work' as it comes straight back to bite them. I gave Tatnell every opportunity to rectify the issue but they chose to remain unprofessional.

26th of May 2022, 29 Regent Street, I walked past a multi-unit being painted by Tatnell. 2 short bearded 20 something year olds scraping old paint off on a cherry-picker. One speaking Foul language and the other laughing. Right out the front of tenants' windows and audible to all walkers by. That's unprofessional. No respect for children in the units. I'd sack them on the spot for that kind of language.

Great job, lovely group of blokes too. We felt we got to know them a bit over the weeks they were here. They even helped us move furniture and assisted with colour choices for outdoor render and were patient with me and my many changes! Highly recommended.
