The ROSECRANS PLAZA consists of a number of different stores and is located off of both Rosecrans Dr. and Sports Arena Drive on the northwest side of the street ( Use In n' Out Burger as your land mark; it's the first right turn driveway off of Sports Arena Drive ). The stores include Staples - a large popular office supply store that sell myriad types of simple to complex office supplies; Subway - a well known chain store that has locations all over San Diego County. They specialize in a mixed variety of delicious low cost subs and they always have monthly deals for certain types of their subs; usually about '3.50 for certain 'foot long sub' subs. My favorites are their Italian BMT and their meatball subs. The also have a 7-Eleven, a very popular store for quick stop goods; a Del Taco, Chuck E.Cheese's Pizza Store, which is a favorite for families and their kids ( This store offers a 'party like atmosphere' for kids, lots of games that they can enjoy, as well a super large pizzas made just for kids. The have a Mattress Firm company, ULTRAZEN Lazer Tag - a fun game using harmless lazer weapons to 'tag' another person out of the game, as well as 'pop up figures' that you shoot at... that may be the good guys of bad guys and you accumulate + or - points. The Panda Express is a well known restaurant that servers Asian foods to eat there or take out. EoS Fitness is an exclusive fitness center is a fitness club for members... They have plenty of parking and used to have a theater complex in the back however, I'm not sure if it's still there, as well as a few other stores within the whole complex including In n' Out Burgers, which is quite a popular fast food place that specializes in hamburgers, fries, onion rings, three flavours of shakes ( chocolate,vanilla, strawberry), plus sodas and tea.

This review is of the In-N-Out burger joint located in the plaza. Always wanted to try this place if I was ever on the west coast. Trust me, like my daughter told me when we first got there, whatever your expectations are, just lower them before you go. Don't get me wrong, the place was nice and clean, staff was friendly and efficient (although our order was missing a burger which we had to wait forever for), and the food was ok. It just wasn't all that great. Would I go here for a burger before I went to McDonald's? Yes, they are decent. That said, the fries pale in comparison - especially the ones done "Animal style", which is just their "secret" sauce (Thousand Island dressing) and a piece of American cheese they melt overtop of the fries that gets stiff and gross the minute it starts to cool off. I just wasn't impressed. Maybe it's because we live in Akron, Ohio - home of Swenson's - and are just that spoiled. At any rate, if you're hungry for this kind of food, walk, don't run to In-N-Out.

Well I don't know where to begin. First off I go to EOS Fitness. Then I can always run into 7-Eleven and get me my favorite energy drink that won't raise my blood pressure that is, if I get hungry I can go from In-N-Out Burgers all the way to Olive Garden and everywhere in between. If I need to go shopping well Ralph is here for food Ross is there everything else. Unless I want to go to Sears and I want to Thrift Shop Salvation Army is right next door. And our weekends I can always hit the flea market by Pechanga Casino. And I want to shop and get a good price on things, if it's a sports I can go to Big 5 or as for everything else I can go to Big Lots. Everything is within walking distance so I can park and just walk to wherever I need to go. All in all, a beautiful experience every time I'm there!

This place is busy be on lunch and dinner time always packed the good thing about is consistently smooth out the flow of traffic when ordering. Order is right IN RECEIVED in a prompt manner, when done order is out, End of discussion customers are happy, keep in mind if you see a long line don’t be discouraged to make your order will be handled professionally. At first I was discouraged when I saw a long line I found out it was smooth, the staff who represent IN and OUT company is a very well prestige manner

This In-N-Out Buger tends to always be busy, with a long drive-thru line. However, on this particular night, they had an order taker posted up at the start of the line. So, he took your order as soon as you pulled up to the line, which made things flow very smoothly. I ordered a 3x3 with raw onions, a XL Neopolitan shake, plus french fries with light salt (the first two technically "secret menu" items). As always, both the food & the service were excellent!

I do enjoy going to In-N-Out Burger every so often. I love their shakes and the quality of their burgers is pretty good. And their prices are more reasonable than many of their competitors which do so much advertising that jacks up the prices so I feel I'm getting a little bit more for my money because the price is seem to be more reasonable. With what they charge for french fries today many of the big chains you can go buy a 5 lb bag of potatoes for less!

Went to in n out...this place is located within Rosecrans plaza and they have a couple other fast food or what I call "sit down fast food"; places within the plaza.....like subway, panda express, del taco, and even chucky cheese. In n out is by far the busiest and mist lively place there. Plus the dinning area is open till 2am I believe...so people from all around are attracted....and keep this place popping no matter what day of the week it is.

What's the meeting of friend after spending the week in Los Angeles and was it accosted by the security guard in front of the business understandably I looked transient with my backpack and guitar however I was there meeting a dear friend not trying to Panhandle or play for my supper... not everyone in Old Town California wearing a backpack is Transit without home ruthless without roof

I heard a lot about this place on the East Coast. The food was not spectacular to me reminded me of McDonald's burger, the fries seemed fresher as in not frozen. I liked the fact that they learned from Chick fil-A and have workers outside to take care of the line, and like that they repeated our orders again at the window. But to me it was over hyped. The 3 stars is for service.

In -in-out burgers were delicious! OMG, THEY WERE SO GOOD! The line in the drive thru was double lined back to the road so we decided to go in and order. There was no line to order but ppl were waiting all over for their to go orders. While we were waiting for our order, tables emptied to accommodate all 7 of us, together. The staff here are so friendly, polite and pleasant.

Wonderful In N Out, up to par with their normal service and food quality. However, this location was really not planned out. In N Out should really be better equipped to design for better parking lot and drive thru flow. This location constantly flows out into the busy street and you often can't see if there are one or two lines open from the back.

This place is insanely busy, I avoid it like the plage. Lotta sketchy people around and in the 711. Watch out in the lot, or you or your car will get hit due to mass activity... Especially during lunch. In-N-Out Burger probably brings half the car traffic. The busy surrounding streets also make it hard to get in and out of the place peak hours.

I like the animal burger. I wasn't really happy about the service this time. It took 40 minutes after I ordered to get the food. They fries were cold, and the burger was very warm either. The people next to me had cold fries as well. It seems to me ifnyou are so busy the food takes 40 minutes to get that at least you'd get fresh fries.

Had a terrible customer service experience. The kids were too busy talking and playing around with eachother to notice I called her name 3 times to let her know I had two separate orders I needed to pay for. Also found a hair in our food, my mother has long hair so I am not ruling her out, but it also could of been an associates.

This is a bit of strip-mall Americana, located at the very busy intersection of Rosecrans and Sports Arena Blvd. People arrive early to work out at EOS Fitness, and then lunch time is crazy busy with In-and-Out Burgers next to Del Taco. I live in this neighborhood and these businesses are convenient and well maintained.

Its a great location, easy access, wheel chair accessible. Many different stores to choose from. In-n-out usually gets a huge line, mostly cars in the drive thru but they've got a system down that helps that line move rather quickly so it's not too much of an inconvenience, especially during lunch hour.

Honestly every time I go to Rosecrans plaza is always one of the best experiences it's always lit up it's always full of people full of life and full of energy I can truly say that's one of the places I love about San Diego because it always makes us looks like where ok as a people meaning sandieagins

Lots of homeless hang out here. Security is pretty solid though with patrols visible every time I’ve been there and a security camera system set up. 7/11 seems to have the most homeless hanging out so I try to avoid there. In & Out is always busy, but they don’t impede traffic/ parking.

I got the number 7 and the burger was delicious. I don't really care for the fries, I guess they were okay. The employees here are fast, friendly, and have high energy. The place does get pretty loud as the night progresses, there are a lot of teenagers that come here. …

Good stores and location. Avoid the north entrance from Kurtz street. Bad design, slow, lame, even dangerous. I avoid the whole place entirely except maybe twice a year. And the usual presence of homeless people. Also kinda dirty and grungie. Landlord needs to give some back.

This was a good place to eat it was kind of packed though and it took a while for us to get our food even though there were a lot of people working the bathrooms were disgusting though there was stuff over flowing out of the trash cans and the toilets were both dirty

This is a very busy strip mall! I like the Staples and T-mobile unfortunately the parking lot is very busy because In and Out and 7-11and other merchants are all cramped in a small space its the location on 2 very busy streets so be careful when visiting this place.

This is a wonderful fast food restaurant. They have great fresh food at very affordable prices. With the ingredients that they have they will make any combination that a customer requests. Yes there are times when the line is long but it is well worth the wait?

I love Staples, but the property grounds and buildings need maintenance. Pan handlers are around as well, so it is straight in and out to get your errand and lunch. Don't leave items visible in cars. In N Out Burger, Panda Express and 7-11 also in the Plaza.

Homeless here are so nice n friendly... Minding there own while we allow them to suffer police unjustice and posting up infront of businesses, how nice. Humanity is just so UNbalanced. How people r treated in this area is disgusting.

This was a smaller plaza.. not a lot of parking for where it’s located and what stores there was there. It is in a “corner” of a very busy street. But we were able to get in and get out of it quickly with no issues.

I was at tmobile store in Rosecrans plaza, thae parking lot is so busy. At tmobile store the consumer service, she was very nice and helpful I buy the double charger for my Note 9 and the galaxy watch I'm happy.

You're better off eating inside because the drive thru is constantly packed to the point where it blocks the entrance to the shopping center but I can't deny the four by four Burger is totally worth it …

Nice and decent meal offerings at this area. Parking it's an issue, not only because parking is not big enough, but arriving vehicles, often are blocking open/ occupied parking spots. No control at all.

The line is long, but what can you expect. They move move fast and efficient. My order had always been right even when I make some odd request. They employees are always super sweet and very friendly.

Super busy but the food came pretty fast. Pretty simple burger. The fries are made fresh but make sure you get them animal style, they are much better that way. Employees were nice and considerate.

Love this place. It's always crowder. Which means the food and service is great. Slow time are the afternoons, even then it gets plenty of customers. But go there often. Try it. You be the judge.

I don't know why but there is a constant line all the way through the parking lot people in point Loma act like in and outs the only burger joint in the world. Foods always consistent and hot

Not quite what I expected for in-n-out quality. The burgers tasted of soy and seemed the order of french fries shrunk... Could be me but then again there prices haven't gone up much...

This is not my favorite In N Out. My fries are never cooked right. They are always under cooked. They are not crunchy and sometimes not even hot. Luckily the burgers are always great.

A little crowded but service was good. The order was put together properly and came relatively quickly. Didn't provide boxes for us to eat in the car, otherwise a perfect experience.

The parking is always packed. Be careful driving thru it. People back up too fast and don't watch out for other cars. A lady smashed into my door a few years ago.

I drove a bird scooter a few miles to cruise back with with 3 cheese burgers and 3 fries. I'm surprised I made it with traffic. But it was well worth the risk.

Great and affordable fast food. Keep in mind that this In-n-Out gets crowdy around 8:00 pm. I recommend ordering to go or eating in your car if you have to.
