We made an appointment with Dr.S.H at Tokai Melomed last week, and I mentioned clearly when making the appointment that my child needs two teeth fillings. After scanning and some explanation of each tooth status, I was told that she will not do any treatment but consultation only...We have to book another time for treatment. The earliest slot however is next month only, we cannot wait that long, so they helped booked Dr. C from Gatesville Melomed on the following week. Dr.S.H advised to extract tooth 64 and fill tooth 84 first, then we can come back for the rest of the treatment with sedation/gas at later stage. We made sure the poor boy is mentally prepared for his very first operation, until today, in Gatesville, we were told tooth 65 also needs to be extracted (never mentioned before)... kids will still feel the pain with gas... separate treatment into two and makes kid suffer twice is not necessary... I had to digest all these new information, make a quick decision while my son is already lying on the chair with gas flowing through him. Regardless of different medical opinions here, I don't understand why there's no basic communication at all on referred patients within one practice system. My son is only 6 years old. I felt furious and helpless for what he had to experience, we will not come back again.

My son is 8 years old,autistic& non verbal. Traumatic for us as parents and scary for a child who cannot communicate and explain where it hurts. Imagine tooth ache for adults so imagine the pain for a child. Dr Hurribunce is amazing. Their anesthetist amazing. Their receptionist Fatima very efficient and kind. Really we had so much anxiety when we went the first time, but from the very 1st day they were amazing. THIS is our 3rd visit and really may God bless them. They care, they are patient and kind. Any child, but a child with special needs really there are few dentists who can actually assist and be compassionate. Dr Hurribance - Thank you our child is happy and healed. Dr Hurribunce was absolutely amazing with my very anxious 8 year old, and his nervous mom. She didn't hurry us, carefully explained options and managed to extract his tooth with very little pain. He even told me afterwards that he would go back to her again and that's a huge compliment for him. We highly recommend seeing her for kids! I won't go anywhere else again.

Called to make an appointment after seeing ratings however was not impressed by the individual who answered the phone. Not very pleasant/friendly/welcoming felt as though she was doing me a favour. As a result I cancelled everything and made an appointment elsewhere and was met with much friendlier service.

I can't express my joy at the welcoming and care that I experienced at this dental practice. Dr Bhorat is an absolute superstar, kind, gentle and super efficient with awesome results. Thank you!!!

Very compassionate, gentle and kind yet totally professional. No visit to the dentist is "pleasant" but this is as close as it gets.
