Very poor experience! The moving truck I hired did have the controller for the rear lift with it and so was inoperable. I called contact centre (the only number available) as soon as I realised it wasn’t there. The lady on the phone had to me on hold while she got “approval” the be able to call the Hobart branch, once she gained approval she tried a number of times to call them with NO ANSWER! I was then told she would sent them an email and get them to call me straight back as there was three hours before they closed, the call never came! When you hire a moving truck to move house you don’t have time to be running all over town fixing other peoples mistakes nor the extra energy and strain to load such heavy house hold items without such a vital part of a moving truck. On returning the truck, clean and a full tank required. They didn’t seem to care that the controller wasn’t there and that nobody bothered to call me back just said “oh well” FUMING!!!

Pretty disappointed today to pick up my car in-city at Hobart SIXT. Booked the Compact Car model a long while ago, and when I arrived, they said “we’re sorry, we only have a Small Car for you”. I mean, WHY? SIXT is known for service (for the premium price), and this’s a rather avoidable mistake (especially Airport SIXT is only 20mins away, and they could have mobilised the right model over for me). 100% disappointed ☹️

We asked for a Yaris Cross the gentleman said we dont hire those vehicles out ? When we dropped the car of today a much smaller car than the Yaris Cross we noticed one in the yard. Which was disappointing. The gentleman said because we were getting a smaller car we would get discount wow $5 . When dropping the car of a different gentleman was much nicer. Im not sure we would use sixt again.

Thanks for asking me to review a service we cancelled due to poor service. Months ago we booked a carola type car to drive around Tasmania. When I rang to adjust the rental by 1 day due to health issues. I was informed that the only car available was a full electric car which did not meet our needs so I cancelled and saved hundreds of $ using a competitor.

David was extremely helpful and friendly when we returned our car at Hobart city. We decided to reserve another ride for our next trip after being served by him! Such pleasant customer service- he took time to show us Tesla electric car and other available models. He put in a note on our concerns, and pickup was fuss free! 5 star service!! Thanks David

These guys were fantastic, I was nervous about hiring a Tesla and then nervous about installing a baby seat but they took my fears away by having the two kids seats for when we arrived first flight into hobart. David was brilliant, and the management and team at hobart airport were soo helpful. Can not recommend them enough!

A huge fan of this place, using their services over half a decade now and never get disappointed. Clean, reliable and inexpensive cars, wide range of EVs too. Although the cars are cheap in price compared to the market but the customer service is top of the range, visit once and you’ll come back again for sure. Thanks.

Website was super easy to use to book. Good reminders before booking date to let you know all things needed, staff at site were super nice and very easy to deal with and explained any questions and all things needed, plus drop off was super quick and easy also.. Definitely use again and recommend the hobart team.

Not happy with the service. I was sent an invoice to pay after 9 months now insurance says they can’t cover because I can’t claim after 28 days ! I called soo many times dint get any reply from the manager. It is really unfair for me to pay the amount they charged when I took the full insurance cover.

We hired a car from SIXT in Hobart. After one day we had to call RACV to get the car towed as it wasn’t drive-able. We made several phone calls and an email requesting a replacement vehicle, with absolutely no response. We wouldn’t recommend this agency if you want reliable/professional service.
