Grabbed a large latte this morning as I was on the way out of the hospital. Drove out of the parking lot and as I took the first sip, I immediately noticed the taste was off. I took a couple of more sips to confirm my suspicion. This latte was garbage! Way under extracted and the milk was not silky smooth. Really the person who made this clearly did not know how to make latte. Wasted $6 and more importantly, I cannot trust this second cups business anymore. Disappointed big time at this location. I couldn't go back to address this garbage of a latte they served as it meant paying parking to do so. Whoever you are, you ruined my coffee enjoyment for the day.

I hope the manager can see this, I am working at sunnybrook. I could say this is the worst second cup branch I ever seen in Toronto, very poor coffee quality. The same coffee has different taste every day. The orders always not completed, you ask for certain amount of sugar or dairy, they won’t follow what you want. I always use fixed amount of sugar, interestingly, every cup is different, either too sweet or no sugar at all. Being to busy should encourage the branch to offer good quality and not the opposite.
The coffee and pastries at this location are always fully stocked and fresh. It's a busy coffee shop, since it's located on the main floor of Sunnybrook Hospital (M Wing), and close to the front entrance. Their wild blueberry crumble muffins are my favorite, very moist, soft, and fluffy. The choclate chip cookies are ginormous, but I found them overly crunchy and bland. The decaf coffee is always hot and freshly brewed. Service is efficient, but I highly suggest "wrapped" cutlery for sanitary reasons.
This Second Cup is inside Sunnybrook Hospital so the environment is not the best. However, the coffee and carrot cake that I had were both very tasty. The service was quick and considerate. If you ever have to be at Sunnybrook, I'd recommend this food court café.

It’s reassuring to have good coffee and some passable food anytime of night or morning. They also sell the food from the Aramark servery next door (soups, salads, sandwiches, etc) after hours. This listing says 24 hours, but not that they do close from 3am to 4am each day.
Quick service. Almond croissant was a bit harder than butter croissant, nevertheless it was tasty. Pumpkin spice latte was okay.
