"Nice and peaceful place when there isn't baseball going on"
I play Disc Golf on a regular basis and have traveled all over the state... Of all the courses that i have played this is the best if there were a scale of 1-10 I would rate this course an 11. Most people don't know that this course is maintained by the golfers. It is a metro park but average joes take care of everything if you get a chance you should go visit this course. They have a hole for everyone. Sidearm or Backhand there is a hole for you... thank you for reading my review and thanks to everyone who helps maintain this park
The disc golf course was mostly wooded with trees and obstacles everywhere but this just made for really fun shots. Easy to lose a disc in all the brambles If you're not accurate. The few open shots are a breath of fresh air when they finally pop up and someone even planted flowers next to a basket that just added to the courses beauty. Only one star was taken off due to the confusing course layout and tee baskets. Some holes had up to 5 baskets and it was a little offputting not knowing which one to initially throw to.
I enjoyed the walk but, it's not where you can go and panic in my opinion. Needs a little more tlc for me.
Playground
I can't tell you if the play area is sanitized I would allow my niece to play on it.
Restrooms
They have restrooms but are kept locked so you have to use a porta potty which is nasty. Germs can I say.
Dog-friendliness
If you have a pet definitely a great place but, there is no fenced in dog area so they can free roam. It wasn't what I expected but then again it's a public park.
Great Course. ( Update 2 years later.) I didn't appreciate this course as much as I should have. I now live in Florida and have played 4 courses here and they are no comparison to Seven Oaks. I gave this course a 4 star before but I now upgrade it to a 5 star because I miss it so bad. People here in Florida do not understand how great a course can be. Much love to Seven Oaks. A course with a little bit for everyone.
Nice and peaceful place when there isn't baseball going on. Not a lot of people traffic during the weekdays. People do tend to park in the shade of the loop by the ball fields and just sit in their cars. I've been there many times and there is always at least on person just sitting in their car doing nothing. Haven't been able to figure out why but I've never had a problem, just something to look out for
This is a review of the disc golf course at the park. Very good course, challenging but not insanely difficult. Lots of vertical wooden obstacles distributed about the course in a seemingly complex, almost organic pattern. A friend of mine told me these obstacles are called "trees" and can be found growing right out of the ground at many disc golf courses, as well as in other locations. Hmm.
Well I played there today and the course was nice. My only complaint is that due to the tournament this past weekend some of the holes have been moved around and this made it difficult to navigate. Also there were several gentlemen kinda just hanging around the 12th hole. Not sure if they are squatters or what. Other than that good difficulty with some tight fairways with a lot of trees.
Ohkay so this park has 1 of the best disc golf courses in the area by that I mean all the locals hang here and it's an amazingly fun time on top of that a few baseball/ softball fields and tennis with a water fountain the park may not look big but it's really awesome atmosphere full of life and kids laughter I go here 3 days a week for disc golf and never have a bad time
The park has a really nice frisbee golf course, which is what my rating is intended for. The course is challenging and well thought out. It's also 18 holes, which makes it worth travelling across town. There were some sketchy folks around, so I would be careful bringing children. Also seen was a curtained van in one of the parking lots. Go during the daytime only.
I took a light walking tour of the park, and I have to say that the disc golf course is very nice and the grounds are well-kept. I'm not a fan of the elevated holes though. Not only do I think they are uninspired, but they are practically impossible for kids to grab their discs after making a basket. Who's bright idea was that?
I've only spent time at the disc golf course which is a fantastic mid-difficulty level course. I only give it the 5 stars based on that. I know there are tennis courts and other amenities but have not checked them out. It's a nice big park located right off a residential neighborhood near the airport but quiet and secluded.
Had to stop in and sleep the night away on the local bench it was perfect and the great thing I was alone. I did almost forgot the cold oh well it was great I'll never forget the peaceful feelings I had on my way through that snowy freezing night just a great experience overall I wouldn't have missed it for the world …
Great course to learn disc golf - nice blend of woods and open space, varied terrain, and some challenges to improve your game! (I'm a beginner, so that's the only angle I can give an opinion from. It very well might suitable for all levels, but I have been told it's a shorter, somewhat easier course overall.)
This course is awesome and has so many different options for plays. I love the layout and the way that it smells because of all the trees. The course is well maintained and the course is easy to navigate. It’s close to the airport too so was very easy to kill time while waiting for our flight.
Nice disc golf course. One of the better courses to play. Variety of different holes. Can be a bit crowded at times and especially if there is a tournament going on. People seem to "hang out" around a couple of the holes. The regular golfers really take care of the course. Thanks!
Very fun course. Starts off in open terrain but moves into harder forested holes that are not beginner friendly. Woods aren't very dense and finding a lost disc isn't hard. Forrested holes are great to get out of the sun. Nice benches and tables at many of the holes.
Fine I guess? Not a lot to do or see unless you like ultimate frisbee. Decent place fo walk my dog tho. Just watch out cause there's no sidewalks and a lot of litter. Sometimes broken bottles. Would rate 4 stars if it wasnt for fear of my dog cutting her paws.
Small but very friendly park. The heartbeat of the Music City Disc Golf Scene. Disc golf course is wonderful and always full of fun, warm, and inviting people. On Wednesdays you can even catch Music City Disc Golf out at the course for all your disc golf needs.
One of the oldest and best discgolf courses in Nashville. Not much else needs to be said. Take your valuables with you though as occasionally cars are broken into. Doesn't seem to be a chronic issue but seems to happen in spurts.....hate theives!!
One of the best disc golf courses I've played. Good mix of wide open rolling hill shots and tight woods shots. Great use of elevation. Definitely will be playing here every time I fly into Nashville. Locals were really nice and helpful.
Love this park! It is relatively small, but it's a wonderful green space near the airport. They have a full 18 hole disc golf course that is perfect for pretty days. The landscaping is always clean and well kept. Everyone I ever bump
Disc golf course was clean, the brush was easy to go through if needed, challenging as in there are different baskets you can tee-off for. All around, it's a good course for beginners to advanced players. Shaded and sunny areas.
Great disc golf park! Bring extra discs if your not an expert! Beautiful grounds and a respectful community! Bring bug spray! Please please be respectful and use the trash cans! This place is beautiful, Let's keep it that way!
One of the best courses in middle Tennessee. Fair amount of wooded holes with some open at the start and end. Multiple layouts, friendly people and drains well when wet. Definitely a must play when in town!
Great disc golf course. Good mix of open and woods holes. Make sure to have a map of the course to get around, I suggest the UDisc app. They even have brooms at each hole to clean debris off the tee pads.
Played the disc golf course and really enjoyed it! I'm a beginner and I was able to play most of the holes pretty well. I would imagine a skilled player would find this course pretty easy. I'll be back!
Love the disc golf course here. It's a nice walk in and out of the woods that is easy to navigate for the most part and always fun to play since they change the position of the baskets occasionally.
Very nice course layout for tourney style play, both open/narrow fairways, always busy with players, not much privacy here. Parking can also be a challenge, especially if weather is fair.
The discgolf course is awesome. You take an easy hike and view cool scenery. Tables and benches at pretty much every hole. Interesting basket positions provide tons of variety.
I went to park for a work outing. It was a very nice and clean. Places to have outings, play basketball, softball, picnics, etc. It even has shade trees and covered area.
Awesome course close to the airport and close to the disc golf shop. Flew in from Houston in had to check it out. 10/10 would recommend. Nice mix of open and wooded.
Great course!! Really well kept. Had a lot of fun playing. Can't wait to play again when I'm back in Nashville. Shout out to the local golfers keeping it clean!!!!
Disc golf course was well laid out and had some great technical holes. As first time play through it was easy to navigate.
Restrooms
No restroom. Portapotty
One of the best frisbee golf courses in middle TN and beyond. I grew up on this course and rarely find one I like as much!! Dont miss the three hole innercourse ;)
Played disc golf. Course is long and good for immediate players. Par 3 on some holes is very difficult. Nice walk and area. Course needs to be labeled better.
If you're looking for a technical course, this is a good one. It has lefty holes and some long narrow straightaways, plenty of trees to weave and good people
It's a very popular disk golf course when on any day the parking lot can be filled and the course scattered with players making their way from hole to hole.
I play disc golf at this park and it's beautiful. The other facilities look great as well but I can't tell you first-hand since I only go to play disc golf.
Fun disc golf course with a technical woods section. Most holes are relatively short, mostly par 3s. Playground on site as well. Grounds are well kept.
Great disc golf course! Can become crowded during an event but never had a problem with parking. Regularly Maintained Course by Disc Golf volunteers!
Review for frisbee golfers. Best of both worlds for wooded areas and open areas for long drives. Convenient location close to major roadways.
A great park, this was the second time playing here from out of state and everyone loved the course. Nice mix of open and technical holes.
Great course, well maintained, nicely shaded, glad I chose this course to visit. I would definitely go back. Thanks to the local dg club!
Great course with a mixture of wide open and wooded holes as well as long and short holes. Park is in a good part of town and feels safe.
The disc golf course here is top notch. Average difficulty, wooded holes, and nice terrain changes throughout make for a great 18 holes.
The best disc golf course in Nashville! Pads are concrete and holes are well marked. Mostly tree covered... A perfect mix of terrain.
Lots of entertaining things to do at this park. Frisbee Golf, Softball fields and concessions, a bathrooms or a port-a-potty. Lol.
Beautiful Park, but needs better Disc Golf Signage at each hole. Was very confusing for a first timer. But can't wait to return.
Maybe the best disc golf course I've been to, mainly because of the community support. The players take a lot of pride in it.
This place is absolutely beautiful! So hard to believe it's so close to the airport. Restrooms were clean...plenty of space!
Disc golf! A must play if your near Nashville. Great course, great variety of shot shapes, multiple pins and pin locations.
This course is beautiful. Also, it's got soul. Go there to find out. It has secrets to explore. It is extremely well kept.
This disc golf course is pretty well kept up. Lots of trees make it a little more difficult, but it's a really nice course
We went there to play disc golf and there are absolutely no water fountains in the entire Park. And I slipped in the mud.
No so good. The Disc Golf was great! But the park and park p9lice leave something to be desired. My car was broken into.
The best course in Nashville at least on the east side. Good mix of woods and open fields with some hidden expert holes
It's usually moist and buggy here, but among all the other accommodations, they have a great 18 hole disc golf course!
Awesome park for disc golf. No accessible bathroom port a pot available. Hilly park with ballpark and small play area.
Disc golf. Course maps could use an update. "Golfing is a good walk spoiled" or something of the hat sort. Fun park.
It was very fun I got to hoop and had a lot of competitive matches but there was a double rim and I didn’t like it.
Baskets are in short so play is tight. Awesome course if players that bring their dogs would keep them on a leash
It's very small. Not the best for kids. We got to see a bunch of planes fly right over our heads. That was cool.
Awesome Disc Golf course. Well kept and maintained. Love being able to see the jets fly overhead while playing.
The community of discgolfers is unrivalled! The course is nice. Relaxed feel relaxed environment.. try it out
Very clean. Nice elevation changes. Some challenging holes with a good mix of shots. Would highly recommend.
Always have a good time walking the disc golf trails and my noys can play on the playground if they want.
Great disc golf course. Can be kind of difficult with the trees, but it's beautiful and well maintained.
great course, use the UDisc app to figure out what basket to throw to though. Signs very confusing
Nice park, has a disk course but never used it. Might have to bring some friends and try it out.
Course was great. Extra 3 holes are tough but fun. Really cool community feel with the memorial.
Disc Golf course is great! Well maintained, technical course. A must play when in Nashville!
Nashville's best disc golf coarse. 21 holes many have two basket locations. Friendly people
Nice park. Frisbee golf Basketball court sucks. Plywood backboards rotten. Uneven concrete.
Nice! The disc golf course is well maintained and reasonable to play for all skill levels.
Fun park/courses for disc golf. Might want to read the tees carefully so you dont get lost
Hands down my favorite disc golf course in the area. Good course to get u real dialed in.
beautiful park to play frisbee tennis courts, baseball field, basketball. calm and safe
Very nice large park. Park is well taken care of. Has an excellent disc golf course.
Great disc golf course and I didn't really notice any traffic or airport noise.
One of my all time favorite disc golf courses. Incredibly clean course
Really nice disc golf course, played well even in the cold and snow!
Grew up here, love this park and this disc golf course is superb
Well taken care of and laid out disc golf course.
Amazing course, live coming here when I visit
The disc golf course is very nice!
