Where to start... My movers were late and didn't bother to call me to inform me, I had to call to find out. I get a call 1 hour after they were to arrive, and they said they'd be here by 10:30. Time rolls around, I get a call at 10:30 saying they were finally on their way. They were to be packing and moving my mother from one assisted living to another. I'm on a time schedule and only have a sitter for a certain time to be able to do this move. So basically I've had to do all the packing myself to not totally derail the timeline for today. It's more than an hour and a half past when they were to begin the job of packing and moving, but still not here. This has thrown off the day and created more work for me. I'm certainly not pleased with this experience thus far. We'll see how the move unfolds. I'm willing to amend my review once job is done, but being that I did all the packing entirely by myself, due to their tardiness, the cost needs to come down. So far, they're doing great and we've brainstormed ways to make up the messed up timeline and stay on schedule. I'll come back for a final review when done. They did great, and I appreciated their help. I totally get the person before me was at fault for not showing up on time for their own move, but that person should've been bumped to later. Nobody else should be made late because that person couldn't stick to their own scheduled appointment time. Regardless, I'd still recommend and probably use them again if needed. Some better communication on the tardiness would have been nice , and something to work on moving forward.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were all friendly when I called to get a quote. He told me to make sure to pay the deposit several times. I went online to request the quote as told, then had email to pay the $50 deposit. Never received a confirmation email indicating that the Deposit was paid or confirmation of the delivery date, time, etc. But I took that as it was late Friday and let it go. My move was to be Wednesday October 4. I called and had to cancel it because my son was going to be able to do it for me so I wouldn't have to pay this and I called the number back and he was rude and stated it was non refundable. At no point in any of the paperwork or even verbally was I told that the deposit was non refundable. I have had to cancel with other movers before and had received the money back no problem. He said he saved this time for me, Uhhhh yeah I see that but today is Monday. Move was Wednesday. That is 48 hours in advance which should be plenty of time to reschedule. If I had been told prior or it had been written anywhere that all refunds are non refundable then I would have understood. But he was trying to be argumentative at the beginning of conversation. This is a quick side hustle to just take $50 a person without doing anything. Karma people. Karma

These guys were awesome. This review is regarding our move in October. We moved from Ft. Worth to Frisco and the week of the move I got sick. Not only did Small Move make an availability which fit our schedule immediately, but they sent Steve and John. This is the reason for 5 stars. Those two not only packed our apartment with speed but moved everything down our one elevator from the fifth floor, through the apartment parking lot basement, into the truck up the ramp then drove the cube truck through rush hour traffic, moved us in with nothing dented/chipped/banged/broken - all while having a smile and a fantastic attitude. I’ve never seen anything like it. I am a veteran and I moved a lot. I’ve used a lot of companies and movers. Steve and John are the best. They are worth it and it won’t break the bank. I did the math, and if you factor in the cost of renting and time you’ll spend, this is a straight up value proposition in your favor. Also, you’re spending your money to ensure all you home goods are moved in without a scratch. If you can’t tell, I’m beyond impressed with this company. You should use them for your move, and if you’re lucky (or you can request them) you’ll get Steve and John. Wish I could give 19 stars. Thanks guys, for moving us in like we were your family.

This move was a nightmare!!! Make sure you ALWAYS list exactly the items to move. They came in a U-Haul truck.? It could hold the smaller storage unit, apparently what I listed was not checked for size of truck needed for the other. Very disappointed with the attitude of the "in charge" person,who showed up 15 minutes( in the john) after the truck driver had arrived. His attitude was very confrontational with issues he had to check with His boss!! They were very slow unloading to get that extra hour (180.00 more) even with a elevator to make it easy up stairs. Not happy with the attitude or performance. Had to pay before delivery, then after delivery was completed. This should have been one amount at the END OF THE JOB!!!. F-

I needed some help unloading a trailer to a 2nd floor apartment, and I chose these guys based off of other stellar reviews. Best money I have ever spent! I’ve never used professional movers before, but I now have very high expectations. They were very communicative throughout the whole process, and very quick to respond. I was even 30 minutes late getting the keys to my apartment, so they couldn’t get started on time, but they stayed and waited until I got them. Once we finally got in, they had my stuff up the stairs so fast. Very professional and very kind people, and they handled my things with great care. I will absolutely be using them again for any and all moving needs.

Steve was prepared, on time, and respectful. My brother was concerned that only one gentleman showed up and that he'd be required to help him load a 250 lb chair up the ramp, but he said that Steve was "smart and came prepared" -- which has not been his previous experience as my brother tends to move a lot. The drop off to my home was equally quick and easy. I'd use them again as Small Move Same Day Fort Worth easily beat out ALL other quotes including College Hunks (sending 2 men), Two Men & a Truck, and Veteran Moving America. Ask for Steve! These guys are awesome! I had five large items left that I needed moved from my storage unit. After being quoted ridiculously high prices from many companies and having issues with scheduling I found Small Move Same Day online. They had a great rate and availability that fit with my schedule. I had to call movers last minute when my u-pack arrived sooner than expected. They were able to get me on the schedule with such little notice, and communicated with me effectively and efficiently during the booking/scheduling process. Barry and Steve were super helpful and very friendly. One of my boxes busted on the drive, but they even went around the bottom of the truck picking up my rings that had fallen out. Great movers! We purchased used, large furniture and our movers Steve and John were awesome! They were careful with the items (covering them with blankets and heavy duty saran wrap) and expertly moved the items from the house into their van and vice versa to the destination. Richard is also very friendly and clearly communicates your quote and date on the phone. The company was able to do the job next day! Will be hiring them again for our next move!

I had only 1 days notice to have a piece of furniture, a sofa. They picked it up and had it delivered in less than an hour. I was quoted flat fees of about $300 and higher to move 1 piece, within the same city ! These guys are personable and professional, get the job done quickly and handle each piece with care. This outfit was easy to find, communicative, priced well, and professional. I’d never hired movers before, and didn’t need more than a few big pieces of furniture and some boxes. The reviews were great and decided to use this company. They were able to accommodate on short notice, although the guys were moving slow in my case. I think they could’ve easily saved an hour or so. I was surprised they used hand tools to disassemble beds and not power tools, fast and efficient is what a customer needs. No one wants to spends $$$$ for a small move.
