This is a relatively clean subway station. The one thing that is annoying about this subway station is that the subway booth clerks are not well informed about how the trains are running. Often, the electronic signs within the subway system will tell you the train is minutes away and then it will switch to showing a delay. When you questioned the subway booth clerk about that they tell you that there is no delay. Yet the platform has hundreds of people on it waiting for a train that doesn't come. I think it's also important to note that several of the subway Booth clerks need to retake the MTA course titled customer service. Clearly some of them have no clue.

A small very nice little station very, very downtown. Spring Street is a local station on the IND Eighth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at Spring Street and Sixth Avenue in the Hudson Square and SoHo neighborhoods of lower Manhattan, it is served by the C and E trains, the former of which is replaced by the A train during late nights.

Be Careful A Low-form sub animal hanging around in the station. It targets certain racial group. If you are going uptown, do not enter from the downtown side even though there's a underpath. You will be attacked by the animal the moment you enter the station.

Google took me to 2 blocks north of where actual stop of E train uptown should begin. They really need to fix their gps coordinates. Currently, it is an unreliable source to use for transportation by the E train so please be aware. Hopefully they fix this soon.

Worst station to wait for a train between 7 and 8pm took 35min and still waiting on a train and all the E trains which should stop here go express for some dumb reason. And they empty with not even much people in it.!!!

Please please will someone do something about the smell of rotten walls in this station? I am not even talking about the rats. I accepted it, this is their home. But why the stations need to smell so bad?

I was attacked at this station by a homeless person for no reasons at all. Feeling extremely furious considering how my tax money is helping them. What a 4th world country the US has become?

The subway is a quick way to get around. We used this station to get to Macy's. We were on foot from Eileen Cheesecake, walked through SOHO on Spring Street to see all the shops.

I call this place the "fun station." There are nice places above ground such as Domanique Ansel, Torch & Crown Brewing Company, and Jerrell's BTER Burgers around the vicinity.

Screw fairly safe, it's a completely safe station. There's announcements when the next train is coming. The bright blue of the station tilework looks vibrant and stands out.

This is one of my favorite stations in the whole system. It’s a good way to get around and connect to the other stations!

Bit dirty, but what can you expect in New York? The neighborhood is nice and it provides pretty direct access.

This station always gets very croweded. But it gets you where you want to. …

Yeah, it's a nice stop. There's even an underpass to switch from uptown to downtown.

Just as most: Smell bad and can use service by the people who run the place.
