This is a transfer station between line 1 and 2. North bound goes to Vaughn and Southbound goes to Union station. It is connected underground to the OISE but to navigate that you need to know where you are going! it is less than 100 meters to Royal Ontario Museum and Avenue road. There is a Tim Hortons on the corner.
The easiest trasfer point between Green and Yellow lines. You don't need to walk too long to the connecton trains unlike Spadina and Bloor-Young stations. Though, most of the other downtown stations get super crowded during the rush hour just like St George.
This is one of the busiest stations on the subway network. It connects like 1 and line 2 and serves the north side of the University of Toronto St George campus as well as the Annex. The station is frequently at capacity as the connection
Not as busy as Bloor - Yonge but nevertheless awesome. This station surrounds the UOFT St George campus and interchanges the university and Bloor subway lines. Although people should only change here for the lines and not Spadina. It has
St. George station has a linear layout, with both tracks running parallel to Bloor and entrances on both ends. You can use it as a shortcut when it's raining and you want to get from Snowdon Pharmacy to Starbucks. The station has its own
I recently had the opportunity to visit the subway station where Line 1 and Line 2 intersect, and my experience was overall satisfactory. The station's location at the intersection of the two lines provided convenient access to various
I used to Take the Subway to & From St George Station with my Auntie Paula Before, when I was Younger, We used to Transfer Between the Eastbound/Westbound Bloor Subway & Southbound/Northbound Subway Lines on YoungeUniversitySpadina.
this is one of the only stations that you can get to intercharge with the bloor subway line and upstairs is the york university spadina line and downstairs is the bloor danforth line and outside is just downtown area
A nice clean station, St. George connects lines 1 and 2. It gets a bit crowded during morning and evening rush hours, but it is far less crowded than Yonge is at the same times. I'd easily pick this one over Yonge.
This is the quickest and easiest transfer point between line 1 and 2. Station itself is very old and gets extremely crowded during the rush hour. So try to avoid this station during that time.
St. George Stn allows to you make all your transfer needs & amenities. It gives you great access to midtown Toronto, Bloor St, the ROM, Yorkville and Varsity Centre and much much more!!!
Good, organized, and clearly marked station. No issues paying or anything. Also a convenient transfer station. I also like the smaller west exit because it goes right into the Annex.
This station is a bit more unique. Looks a little less basic then most others. It's always clean and I've never had a hard time finding staff which always scares me about subways.
Super crowded usually and not the cleanest station. But multiple exits can be nice or confusing if you don't know it well enough. Bus waiting area can be scary empty sometimes.
It is a centralized transfer subway stop connecting west east line to north south line. It has wifi and business billboards like the others.
The TTC had all the trains so packed that I had to let at least 10 trains to go by until I felt safe enough to get in. …
Good station, easy to connect to Lines 1 and 2, and as an UofT student, I like how it's directly accessible to the campus.
St George station is just a transfer stop for me to get on the bloor line etc. Nothing special at the station
Busy subway station that supports direct transfers from line 1 and 2 as well as bus service at street level
Just your typical underground subway station. Not very good but not very bad also standard station Lol.
Clean station with clearly posted signs. Convenient location. I felt safe waiting for the train here.
Dangerously crowded during rush hour. Painfully hot during summer. Overall a pretty bad station.
Still no Presto card usage on this entrance. And only a one page paper sign stating so.
It's an interchange station that is quicker to use than Spadina. Efficient, and fun!
Nice station. Good spot for UT students to use to get to St George campus.
Relatively clean station. However there are often issues with the line 1
Subway usually arrive on time , during peak times very buay
What kind of comments do you want? It's a subway station.
No complaints, other than the lack of restrooms.
