Used this new laundromat once, very new, clean & quiet but i feel their washing prices r very high considering th wash cycle is only 25 mins. I had quilts & bedding to wash n dry & it cost me $11 for th biggest washer & another $8 for the next size down so $19 freakin buks for 25 mins. I understand a business has to make profit but cmon now, im on a disability pension !! Wth th dryers, its 7 mins per $1 so i had 77 minutes of drying time for $10..... evrythin was extremely hot wen i took it all out but once i got home to make my bed there wer stil damp patches on evrythin bar pillow cases SO $30 & an hour n 41 mins later i thought i was finished. I wld use this laundromat again but def not th washers, th teeny tiny one is stil $5 so no, not happening but i wld use th dryers agen. I feel th owners shld decrease th wash prices & wth th dryers, $1 shld giv u TEN mins, not 7. A laundromat shld be affordable to th poverty stricken who cnt afford to buy or replace a broken washer......plz think about these ppl as theres many out there, thanks !

This laundromat is certainly cleaner than many older ones but its far from great. Here are some negatives: 1) It advertises itself as "cashless". This doesnt mean paywave on the machines, unfortunately. You need to sign up on their website, hand over all your details, agree to lots of terms and conditions and add credit to an account, 2) They charged me a 15% fee on paying with card!!! I thought it was now illegal to charge more than it cost in EFT fees. That's 10x more than they should be charging. 3) They dont sell detergent. Other laundromats sell you a paper cup of power from a dispenser for 20c. This place has nothing. 4) No bench space to pack and unpack/sort. Just 2 little tables that are too far from the machines.

Read other reviews. So I offer this. Reasonably clean given foot traffic. Some machines offer an coin or use an app. Same with dryers. Think dryers could be a bit hotter but compared to other laundries this is fine. People using machines all morning while I fought with the app which apparently isn't suitable for my phone with my card. Go figure. Fortunately a lady and her card swapped for cash on hand. A coin machine would be nice. Although may be fraught with its own problems given the area if open 24/7. Maybe soap dispenser or opportunity to purchase soap. I had mine so was fortunate there.

Good Laundromat, plently of machines and access to change. Has a couple 4 bench seats and two benches to fold washing. A few machines were a bit clogged with powder so pays to check detergent tray first otherwise detergent isn't added to wash cycle properly. Doing multiple loads of washing adds up as prices start at $5 for a 2 basket load washer up to $11 for a 4 basket load washer. Drying clothes are a breeze as usual with most laundromats and relatively decent priced at $1 for 7mins. In saying that I washed and dryed 8 basket loads of clothes, towels and bedding in about an hour! :)

It's normally clean, dryers tend to take a long time and don't get very warm so they take a lot longer to dry then what they should. Washing machines in my opinion are kinda small too. Their largest machine struggles to take my super king quilt. Since I have bought a 12kg front loader and it takes it no problems which makes me wonder what the compacity the larger washers are. As to the owners response. My super king size quilt fits easily in my new 12kg washer easier then your largest 19kg washing machine. Also, after 40 mins of drying it was still not dry

We visited the laundromat to wash a car cover that was too big for our home machine. It must be 30 years since I had been to one. The new machines were great and easy to understand. Also they were very quiet. My only concern that there was no signs to say how much detergent to use in washer. We brought our own along and ended up very soapy. The guy next to us had suds out the top of his washer so did worse than us. Being a substantially bigger machine than home I doubled the amount... Lol

I have been coming here to do my washing weekly and tonight I noticed the washing machines weren't clean properly and they smell. I seen the cleaner arrived ten minutes after I loaded my washing machine and watched her clean. She didn't wipe inside or over the machines or empty anything, only mopped the floor and empty the bins then she left. Hope it's okay when I visit next time.

Very clean and nice to use but is a bit pricey. To do my family of 4 wash and dry cost of almost $50 which is bit high for a week's washing especially with no bedding in that week. I like the idea of no coins but they should look at detergent and fabric soft dispensers. If they dropped their prices a bit and put in dispensers then would be a great laundromat.

The washing was good, quite expensive though. The dryer however wasn't good at all! You put $1 in and it flicks them around for about 10 minutes, it doesn't dry them at all. You can put in more money for it to spin longer but if you put a larger load in it literally does nothing. I put more money in and they were still mostly all wet. Not happy...

I use this place regularly to dry my clothes, can be hard at times to get a dryer but only seems to be on Sundays when everyones rushing to get work and school clothes dry (like I am). Has a coin dispenser and free WiFi for you to use while you wait for your clothes to wash/dry, The laundrymat on andresons walk doesn't have this.

Clean place. Big machines for your quilts Had wifi for those that need it. Notes change machine for coins to operate the washers and dryers or you can go to the web site register and load some money that way you do not have to worry about coins or notes. Clean , modern machines and venue, free washing powder altho Im not sure where as a customer let me use his liquid. Change machine or pay with your mobile and open 24hrs in case you need that option. Different size options for machines and very good dryers, my first visit and I was clearly impressed. Thumbs up

Plenty of different sized washers and loads of dryers to use. Very well kept, nice and clean. Awesome place to take your large quilts or items that you just can't fit in your machine at home. Also the price of the dryer makes a quick trip late at night to get clothes ready for the next day worth the drive.

Using Star Laundromat was a good experience. Improvements that need to be made include: more seating to sit on whist waiting for your laundry to wash/dry and pay pass/ paywave facilities when paying for your machine instead of paying on the website. I think that would work better.

first time at star laundromat. Cheaper then the one i useally go to, clean, heaps of washers and dryers, tidy and actually open 24 hours. comes so much in handy as i finished work late but had to do washing for my son at god forsaken times. Deffently recommend and will be back

Has phone chargers for accessibility convenience. Always clean and tidy and always open. Very welcoming environment and machines are all modern/up to date & easy to use. However, it 'could' do with a notes-coin change machine maybe for ultimate convenience (?)

I do not like that your nightly cleaners, sweep the stuff on the floor, out on to the footpath and just leave it there. It looks terrible. Surely you can afford to provide them with a dustpan, brush and rubbish bags?

The worst experience ever..paid $8 for 40mins when I checked it again the towels are still wet..so paid another $8 such a waste of my 40mins and another 40mins..and wait look at the steel bench..so freaking clean!!!

Rubbish ... followed the instructions carefully and when pressed start received "door lock error". Checked the door that seemed to be OK. Net result is that you have our $10 cash without service.
