Could use some cleaning. A water fountain wouldn't hurt. the lemon sanitizer was, runny now its viscosity is slower because the gel. the sanitizer has been out for two days. But the maintenance man seems to come near me to mop. the escalator doesn't work on both sides there's dirt on the outside if the glass window where you can see the trans department and potato chip bags but their empty. Now one of the glass I'd broken. Then some homeless man with sloppy garbage bags and doo doo brown shoes said I shouldn't be down there then he offered me s orange or banana the local gang is nicer. But he did have food from gracefully yours

Again, it's a subway station and unfortunately all are dirty except the most recent ones. Sutphin Boulevard provides a lot of people with access to the NYC Subway and the LIRR Jamaica Station can be reached by walking from Hillside Avenue to Archer Ave (10-15 min walk) Many buses are available here and is great at what it does best, provide Jamaica residents with the train

The homeless like this station, presently 2 people living on the supply boxes in the corner of the platform - on both NB and SB side. Not sure what attractions them here other than I rarely see police at this station.

Easy Transit towards JFK, even with bigger luggage. Nice to know: Do not trust the guys who want to have your metro card. You can use it with 5$ on it for the Airtrain as well

  • Alicia Parris

This station metro card machines never work or tampered with so you need to use your credit cards or debit.. the token booth ppl are useless I have no idea why they are there.

Need some major improvements overall, an out dated station.you can get the F train local up there, there is no Express train, there is no escalators or elevator.

  • Inga Hicks

The courts are there, lots of businesses, coffee shops, a supermarket, and easy access to public transportation

A very regular subway station. May find couple of homeless people. But the station mta people are good

  • Sebastian Sinisterra (CitySeby)

Smells horrible and the mezzanine is huge, but at least there's cell service and free Wi-Fi here.

This is the 4th station from 179th st. in Queens. And the 42nd stop from Coney Island.

  • Sarah Lederman

Typical subway station, not the cleanest place but the trains usually run on time

  • David Santos

I only pass by to look for an apartment. My job is close by around there.

  • Joy C

I love this place because I live near the station but the station skinks

  • Dallas Plummer

This is an ok station in Jamaica Queens. No elevators or escalators.
