I simply cannot go another day without reviewing this wonderful, small business. I have been purchasing cakes from Sydenham Sweet Bakery for a number of years now. This woman is a true cake artist! Her work is always spot on regardless of what I ask her to do. She takes such pride in producing the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen, not to mention, the most delicious ones too! Her prices are more than reasonable! She also sells a variety of baked goods that are well priced and very tasty! Selfishly, I’m sure my hesitation in reviewing her is for fear that she will get too busy to accommodate my requests. LOL! This hardworking husband and wife team deserve all the business they can handle though. Do not hesitate to try this place!

Sydenham Sweet Bakery is my 'go to' bakery for birthday cakes! The owner is lovely and does everything she can to accommodate requests and put her creative flair on cake designs. Not only do the cakes LOOK great, but they taste JUST LIKE A BIRTHDAY CAKE SHOULD!!! You can absolutely tell that they use quality ingredients. The prices are great and everyone raves about how delicious the cake tastes when they try it. I tell everyone who will listen that they should absolutely order their cakes from here! 10/10 recommend!

Sydenham Sweet Bakery was incredible! I visited with a Pinterest picture of what I wanted and she recreated it exactly! I loved her handwriting on the cake, it was beautiful! We ordered custom cupcakes for a baby shower this past weekend, and not only were they beautifully done, but also were delicious! Kim went above and beyond to accomodate our order. The cupcakes looked adorable, with little forest creatures on them, and everybody commented on how delicious they were! Will definitely order from there again! were

Kim is excellent. After a brief discussion on details she did the rest. The cake itself looked great tasted delicious, and helped us to make a very special occasion extra special. By far my favourite bakery in Kingston! Classic, simple and absolutely delicious! Great prices and super friendly owners that I love to chat with each time I go in. The custom made cakes are my favourite. She puts so much work into the decorating and really turns it into a cute creation! Recommend to everyone!

You cannot get better value for your money at any other bakery in Kingston. You might be able to argue that there are better baked goods in the city, but Syndenham Sweet is definitely at least almost as good for a much more reasonable price. Overall, definitely my favourite bakery in Kingston.

I just discovered this bakery! Wonderful friendly service and the sweets are delicious. The bakery is decorated for Halloween and my kids loved it when we went to pick up our cupcakes for a Halloween party we were having.

Went there for the first time yesterday and will definitely be back. The owner was the absolute sweetest and the treats were amazing. My boyfriend used to have their treats as a child and hadn't been back since, so we decided to go. It did not disappoint!

This bakery is just like stepping into Grandma's kitchen. Unpretentious, traditional, small town atmosphere and cookies that will transport you back to the delights of simpler times. The visit and picking out a treat is as delightful as enjoying them.

Have you ever seen a more beautiful cake in your life! My dad is a gardener and she could not have captured that more vividly on this cake. Looked and tasted amazing. You are really missing out if you don't support this local business!
