I wanted to come here to share my story about the terrible experience I had at Tavern Windows Park last night. When ordering I specifically told the waitress several times that I wanted Chicken Wings. After me and my wife placed orders for 3 baskets our waitress quietly started talking about veggies and cauliflower. We couldn't really understand her with her quiet voice and the noise. My wife wasn't sure what she meant, and I thought she was talking about veggies on the side, like carrot sticks, so I was like sure, veggies on the side would be great. After 20 minutes or so a different waitress came out with 3 plates of these little tiny deep fried balls of I guess cauliflower. We said that we ordered chicken wings, what are those. She said these are veggie wings, that's what we ordered. And we told her no, we wanted chicken wings, so please go back and order us chicken wings. After 15 more minutes of waiting the original waitress came back with the same plates of these veggie things and rudely said this is what we ordered. We explained we didn't order that, that I said chicken wings several times. She said we were acting very confusing, that we said we wanted veggies. After arguing for awhile she asked if we still wanted the chicken wings, and we were like don't bother, it's late and this is ridiculous. How can ordering chicken wings on wing night be confusing?? Pretty standard stuff. The manager did come out and apologize for what happened, she was very nice and understanding. She said it is confusing because they now call the veggie bites veggie wings. But how is it our fault that their menu is confusing to even them? I said chicken wings, how hard is that?? After all that we weren't even comped. I was very surprised by this. Overall the waitress was very rude and out of it the whole time. She also didn't know the kids menu at all when I asked questions about it, simple questions like what are the side dishes. I have no idea about the food quality since we didn't get our wings, but this is 0 stars for the service.

Decided to come into Tavern tonight after with some of our sports team after finishing a game. There started off as 10 of us. The server got our drinks but mixed a couple people's drink order. Then everyone put in their food order. Then the service steadily went downhill, which was strange because besides our group there was 3 other tables with 4 people or less. The food started to arrive but my poutine never came and my friend was missing a taco. One couple left our group and a few more friends joined our table - though everyone arrived at different times. My friend asked another server for his missing taco and my missing poutine. She said it would be 2 minutes. By this time, the people who arrived 1 hour after we originally arrived had received their food. Multiple people at our table had to get up and go to the bar to order a drink or get their bills since the server was not coming around to our table in a timely matter. I finally got up and asked for my poutine and the server went to the kitchen. When she returned she said they had run out or gravy or had to make some more. By the time I finally got my poutine, it had been over an hour. And it was so underwhelming, the gravy was so watery and thin. When it came time to settle the bill, I asked if something could be done since I had to wait over an hour for my poutine. The server stated she would speak to someone and returned with my bill which was %20 off the poutine, which took about $3.60 off the bill. Our group collectively agreed we won't be returning.

I called 1 week in advance to book a reservation for 20 people for a birthday party and was told that they need to make sure that’s it’s possible and that I would receive a call back within the next 2 days. Which is perfectly okay, after waiting till the night before, still not having received a call back I decided to reach out and make sure that the reservation was still on. Turns out that 1 person called in sick, happens not the end of the world, after that excuse was then told that they would be closing at 10 because it was a long weekend. Why nobody said that when I booked the reservation or even called to let me know makes 0 sense. having this lousy excuse as customer service is disgusting and I do hope that “the manger” can fix his push off attitude and just reach out so I’m not rushing to find another place last minute for a 20 person reservation. Such an utter disappointment.

The night time female manager was rude and disrespectful to us. We arrived and waited to be seated. The host greeted us “Hello” as we extended our ids to him, he turned his back on us and had a 5 minute conversation with his friend before finally letting us in. We ordered drinks and they came out incorrect TWICE! We then were accused of calling the staff stupid (which we didn’t do, we called the drunk she made [a tequila-cran instead of vodka-cran] stupid) and told us we were not going to be served anymore. Slow service and incorrect drinks received. Not even a busy night either there were only 3 other tables. The manager handled the situation terribly and left us feeling offended and angry. Would give 0 stars but the Mac n cheese bites are so damn good so I guess it deserves a star.

Been to a bunch of the taverns in the city and always enjoy wing nights with friend. Tonight was a much different experience. Our waitress was very unattentive to the point of where we close to going to the bar for service. And when we did get service, the waitress had nothing but attitude and made us want to take our business elsewhere. If we had the opportunity to have caught the waitresses name, it probably would have been helpful. The support staff was much more helpful and friendly than the serving staff. This review was originally 1 star and I have upgraded it to 4 stars because of the Manager Carly. She came over with our bill and asked how things went and was genuinely interested in our feedback and wanted to make things right to fix the lack of satisfaction we had.

We were there on a Saturday evening just now. The place wasn’t packed by any means. We had one server for a table of 20. One server is not enough for that. Our drinks were often empty for far too long. My spouse and me order a 2 appetizer deal for $25 before everybody else due to the slow service. He bit into a mini corn dog, it was ice cold. Our nachos were ok but skimped hard on the chips and the ones that were under the pile were completely soggy and limp. When we got the mini corn dogs, they were burnt. The birthday boy got his burger one hour after we were done eating. We waiting 30 minutes for one beer refill. Our server was kind but it was too much for him and his other tables, if he had any.

Went with some workmates after work on a Friday. Horrible service I was trying to order food for over 45 minutes but no one came to our table before being told happy hour was over. We were constantly lacking beverages as someone would come around every 20-30 minutes or so take orders from 4 or 5 people and leave again. I asked to speak to a manager and was told by the server that she was a manager. I informed her the service was very lacking and how disappointed I was with it. Constantly forgot soda for our DD and waters when asked. At some point we got a different server and the service got slightly better but I decided to leave and get food elsewhere.

Smash burgers are as good as five guys . Tap Beer is always cold!. Lots of tvs to watch ufc events here and they are free here. Excellent service.good food. Great for large groups. Reservations accepted. Friendly staff.

Amber is an absolute gem of a server! We’ve been coming here for years and we’re always so happy when we get her! My husband and I figured she deserved to be bragged about after our last visit to Tavern. Her friendly demeanor and attentive service always makes our dining experience truly exceptional. She always goes above and beyond to ensure we feel welcome and have everything we need. Amber's recommendations are spot-on, showcasing her in-depth knowledge of the menu so if you want a fantastic dining experience with a touch of personal charm, ask for Amber – she's the best!

The service was awful right from the get-go they messed up with the menus for our group of five then took quite a long time to just bring us water. After they finally came back and took our order, it took a very long time to get to our table. The server didn't really seem to care about much at all, including after the fact that we found a piece of plastic in our water they kind of laughed it off and that's all that came of that. The food was okay at best but for the price no where near worth it. Would not recommend to come here.

Just ordered food from here thru doordash yesterday. 1 to 2 hours later i got cold/flu like symptoms. The food was cold and burnt and just awful. Im literally 5 mins away! The next day i was worse and tested positive for covid! I've already notified doordash about this and ready to lawyer up next week. My moms 75 and has breathing and heart issues and cannot get sick! Avoid at all costs! And yes this is legit!

Decent food, decent service, too expensive for the type of food/portion sizes. Drinks are really pricey as well. Was fun to go and watch the game with friends but that can easily be done from home for much cheaper. Ordered the half rack of ribs and six wings, which came with a small amount of fries, garlic toast, and literally two bites of coleslaw. The food was pretty good but not worth the price.

Awful. Waited over an hour for a basket of wings and kettle chips when the place was dead. Maybe 5 tables more and enough servers and staff. Kettle chips were bad, I had to asked for vinegar twice to add some flavour. Never got the vinegar. Asked for a to go box to 2 different servers and waited 10 minutes until I had to go pay. On top of it they were charging 2 for extra sauce? What sauce?

Worst experience I've had in a while, shoved into a corner 40+ minutes for THE WRONG DRINKS, asked for a beer tower, never came. Food was incorrect, and the Bill's were all wrong. My server was a disgrace, and you should not eat here. Update: the manager is very rude and aggresatowarda patrons as well as staff members. Food was fine, but yet another 30+ minute wait for nachos

Unfortunately it was not the best experience. The food did come out in a timely manner but there were missing items and incorrect items served. The service was lacking in that we did not receive cutlery, again missing ordered items and poor attitude with some of the staff (ie. Rolling eyes, just walking away )

Went during the day and it was not busy at all which was nice. Our waitress was really friendly and the food and drinks arrived quickly. My meal was delicious, but I dropped a star rating because they didnt make the changes to my meal that I asked for. The waitress was good about fixing it though!

Had a good time here. Met at door and had our Vax cards and I'd checked which is a good thing. Had wings & sweet potatoe fries with a curry dipping sauce. Delish. Server was prompt, friendly without going over board. Had a decent amount of people. Set up somewhat like a sports bar.

We frequently go for Wings. Wish all the waiters and waitresses were trained to be as friendly and outgoing as one another as it’s hit and miss. Foods usually hot and pretty quick, except a couple of times lately.

This place has a great atmosphere! The menu is huge and reasonable. I never seen a sports bar with so many screens. They also have Dart leagues on Thursdays. There are four pool tables at $2 a game but they also offer $6 for an hour during happy hour

Great wings. Never been disappointed with their wings. Servers are nice. Love that they allow kids until 9 PM. Tons of TVs to watch whatever you want. Can feel a little dark in there if you don't like it that dark. Usually decent drink specials on.

Decent hotel bar, lots of room and lots of TVs for watching sports with friends. Lots of room for larger groups as well.

Poutine Week

The worst restaurant meal I have ever had! Ordered fish and chips. Fries were barely warm and were soft. Fish was soft on the outside and rubbery in the inside. Very obviously a microwaved dinner. It was disgusting. Very good service, though.

I really enjoy this place. Excellent foods and great service. Very well done at this place. I might add the servers are very attentive as well with amazing manners. Good job staff.

It took an hour and a half to get burgers and onion rings. I got 7 onion rings. Everything is overpriced and the food is low quality. Please find somewhere else to go. Supporting this awful location only keeps it open longer.

The food was excellent as I had a few friends with me and we all said it was good. The service on the other hand was terrible, it shouldn't take 15 minutes to get a beverage and we hardly seen our server.

Great local watering hole for anyone in the area. LOTS of TVs to catch a few sports and a good selection of appetizers. Generally showing its age in an older space but worth grabbing a beer and appetizer.

If you want a bar, this is a bar. Lots of room, good beers on tap, food tastes great and lots of entertainment. Can't go wrong with Tavern if you are looking for a cold beer and to watch the game.

The bar is pleasant but the price vs quality is just.... doesn't leave you feeling great. I paid almost 40 bucks for a super mediocre chicken Caesar wrap (scant chicken) and 2 beer (plus tip)

What a great place for drinks and food... absolutely gorgeous servers too. Theres always a few different sports games on the tvs to watch so you're never missing out on the great plays!

Great le burger week burger. Lots of screens…huge venue but felt a bit dated! Was a bit slow and so service reflected that. Everything was good but nothing stood out as spectacular.

Nowhere else has as many big screens for viewing from every angle. Definitely the best place for a big group to watch an event, or multiple events simultaneously.

Excellent service, delicious poutine! Loved how huge this place is, so it didn't feel like we were sitting on top of the people in the next booth over!

Went to watch my cousin play darts. Bar was quiet, had to wait a bit for service. Good food, nice atmosphere, but service was slow.
