My friend and I called in to make a reservation for one of two virtual golf stations they have in the bar. Upon arrival, our server Lyndsay asked to use my golf club to turn the projector screen on because it was too high for her to reach the ceiling and she did not have the remote. We ordered one of the drink specials which was a bucket of 4 beer for $20 and my friend ordered some food for himself. We got four MGD's. We tried to shoot around and practice before starting our game and realized the sensor was not registering us hitting the ball. We tried game mode as well and nothing worked. Virtual golf was ruined and there was a group using the other station and they had another hour left before they were done. Lyndsay was trying to be nice but we were upset enough that the station was not working for us. Life is life, what can you do. It takes time to bring golf clubs, drive, make arrangements, etc to golf. We reserved the spot, they could not accommodate what we reserved for. So, we asked for Lyndsay to speak to the manager to do something about our bill. We were expecting to stay 3 hours. After visiting the manager's office, she came back and told us my friend's food was taken off the bill. That was a nice gesture, but, I felt the two full beers we had on the table still that we were planning on drinking over the original time we had planned there should be taken off as well. I told her to talk to the manager about those and if need be have the manager come talk to me personally. After waiting another few minutes she came back with a negative attitude. In my opinion, being in the service industry for years, it should have been the manager coming to see us. Nevertheless, Lyndsay had a completely reversed attitude from her nice attitude she had with us the whole time. My bill came back with just two beers on it. The two beers one could argue should only have been $10 because 4 for $20 means 2 are $10. I did not argue - even though she charged me for 2 Corona's for $13 and we actually had two MGD's. As she was passing me the debit machine, my friend said something to her along the lines of "This kind of sucks, hey?" and in a super rude tone told us "You don't want to know what I think." I thought maybe she was agreeing with us but after a couple quick sentences between her and my friend, I realized she was being super rude to us. Bad timing on her part because I was still going to tip her despite our bad experience and how could I after her comments?! Boo Winn City Pub. Completely unacceptable attitude from your server Lyndsay and lack of management coming to Lyndsay's aid when she needed it. NEVER GOING BACK - LOST MY BUSINESS FOREVER - WILL NEVER REFER BUSINESS CLIENTS OR FRIENDS

This used to be one of my favourite pubs in the city where I would regularly go to hang out with my friends and grab a couple drinks. Had a horrible experience last night when I visited the pub with my boyfriend. One of their staff members was very rude and impolite with us during our visit. Working in a regulated sector for 2 years, I am aware of what type of Govt. issued Photo IDs are acceptable from customers when proving they are of legal age to consume alcohol and related items in pubs, bars etc. The girl refused us service solely because she thought the piece of photo ID (in my case my National Identification Document with my photo, birth date, issue and expiry date clearly mentioned on it) that was issued by the Govt of my home/originating country did not seem “legitimate” as it was not issued by the Govt. of Canada. The pub should hire people and educate them on the laws and regulations around selling regulated substances as well as teach them how to treat and behave with their paying customers. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in Winnipeg. I would have given 0 stars if it were possible at all. Will never visit the place again. If you are ever in the Osborne or Corydon area, there are many wonderful pubs and bars you could check out to relax, unwind, and have a quality time with you friends, my suggestion would be to avoid this place if you can as the Winncity experience is definitely not worth your time, effort, and money.

Update: You'd have to get past the crowd of smokers surrounding the door to get in - extra problematic during an respiratory pandemic. Not their fault - but it's getting a hard pass from me now. Original: Great service and strong drinks, but small. Nicer than the hotel it's attached to. Classic rock at actual pub volume so you could enjoy it but still talk without yelling. Food was disappointing, even for bar food but if you're looking to play pool or VLTs there's lots of opportunities for that. Would not recommend their menu for vegetarians or vegans, but the atmosphere is very pleasant.

A pretty ,tall, dirty blond/brown haired waitress , 40 ish served us , ...was charming and all smiles until we had to flag her down to get served, which she took as "inappropriate", and suddenly gave us a lot of attitude, and service even got worse. The bar was not very busy , and her charm quickly melted away, especially when we had to wave her down a second time,....we hated to interfere with her socializing at the bar, but.....This is apparently our "neighborhood" bar,.....was only our 3rd visit,.....doubt there will be a fourth for a long time. .

I've been frequently eating at the winn City Pub located just off Pembina Highway near Stafford and Grant this is a beautiful Lounge pool hall golf simulator shooting simulator VLT Lounge restaurant Hotel sports bar they have so many great amenities tons of parking in the back on the sides in the front my favorite Lounge / bar in Winnipeg / pool hall must check out they always have drink specials the waitresses and bartenders are out of this world Alice Ming Michelle and a few others Jaclyn make this place extremely warm and welcoming.

I came here with a friend in the early afternoon to play pool, and left with an $80 tab between us. We were shocked. Even though we were told by the waitress that we wouldn't be charged for going over an hour on the pool table ($10/hr) because the place was dead, we were. Maybe this opened my eyes to how expensive it is to do anything in today's economy, but I find a $7.25 pint of Coors especially hard to swallow. What happened to happy hour?

The staff are wonderful, and I'm so grateful to them. I was able to play pool with my dad whom I haven't seen smile so widely in years. He was happy with the food, happy playing together, and I loved to see him get a little competitive. We don't get to spend much time together and I miss him, so thank you Winn City for this great and memorable experience. I'll remember it forever. Our glasses were never empty, and we were well looked after!

As expected, it was amazing, service, and just stopped in. Sat at a table close to the bar, I had an amazing waitress dressed up for Halloween. Super friendly and made me feel like not just a customer. She went above beyond and was happy to chat and do an exceptional job. So koodos to you, Alice. They should be lucky to have ya! The pleasant atmosphere, ability to pick songs from the jukebox, and decent selection of VLT's and excellent condition pool tables make it a great little spot to spend a late night out. Despite our waitress being shorthanded on our arrival and a sizeable crowd amassing we had a very fun and friendly experience, and wait times were still little to nil. Will definitely return again

Never let down by the wonderful service and friendly staff. Lounge is always clean and welcoming. Also have never been disappointed with the delicious yam fries. We won jets tickets tonight! Thank you to our wonderful hostess Nik! We don’t like picking favourites but she definitely makes the atmosphere at Winn City something remarkable. Highly recommended!

Great food i tried a variety... and Great service, Justinn, [ the bartender with the dirty blondish hair.) seriously you could be a stand in for Jennifer Anniston., SMOKIN Hot Susie, great attitude, one of the nicest and “Real” people I talked with.during my stay at the hotel , The Owners/management/ staff very personable and friendly, even Even Kobe!!

Not a bad pub if looking for a quiet gathering. Beer on tap was a little sour thou and TV's showing their age. Staff was quite friendly and quick to take orders and chat. Has pool, darts and some other virtual games to play. Also has some VLTs and thai food from the restaurant next door. Nothing special, but for a hotel bar I have seen worse.

Had a work Christmas party there. They have a caterer for food, who was great. The Greek dinner came with lots of choices in the buffet. We also did the Olympics, so there's 4 teams and 4 stations and you all compete with each other. Got us up and moving around after eating. The server was attentive and was always around.

Had a great time; our server Justinn was really personable, friendly, and she has a shining personality. Prices are quite reasonable, food was impressively hot and tasty, pool tables were immaculately presented with arrow-straight cues - something most pubs never get right. Definitely 5-stars.

Service is absolutely amazing!! I didn't have their food, so I can't give a rating on that. However, if you go for a smoke when you play pool, have someone watch your table. It is a free for all, so anyone can come scoop up your table.

We came to the Winn City pub for our annual get together. Jayme and Nik were super on their game. Always a fun atmosphere with these two professionals. Great job ladies. We look forward to our next visit. Hope to see you on the west side of the province. Cheers Mark and the fellas.

Drinks were reasonably priced , service at the bar was very quick and efficient, good tv's to watch the game. Only criticism I have is the greek salad with chicken did not have olives or feta cheese. I would repeat but would just order something else next time.

Not what I expected AT ALL. Clean, and a fun atmosphere. I was expecting something way "lower class" and was more than a little pleasantly surprised. Well kept pool tables. Also had a pizza ordered through the pub from Papa Johns.

Great service. The place was busy with 2 your buses and a party showing up at the same time. The manager ended serving us to make sure we were taken care of properly. Outstanding. And great beer specials.

Location has some history for sure. Pretty much just your cookie cutter winnipeg pub/vlt lounge these days. Clean usually quiet with friendly staff. Has virtual golf/games. neat little gimmick.

we stopped here for a drink in between our night out and it was very relaxing and the service was great! the dry ribs were really good! lots of large spaces for big groups with couches.

A hidden gem that's a stone's throw away from Confusion Corner. Friendly staff, tons of TVs and plenty of billiards/darts/virtual golf to keep you and your crew entertained for hours.

Convenient, as it is in the Quality hotel. Usual pub fare. Pool tables, slot machines and pool tables with enough screen to watch the Raptors win their first final playoff match.

The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food and drinks are great. They have comfortable areas to sit and have conversation along .with tv, pool,darts,golf an D casino machines.

We go for the golf simulator( and Alice's charm and friendliness) . The sims are great. Way better and cheaper than the Golf Dome. Wincity even runs a winter golf league.

Bit of a sketchy spot. Our server "lost" a $250 vlt receipt while heading to cash it and then tried to charge me $3500 instead of $35 on my crcd for a few drinks.

The food is weak but the beer is beer. I enjoy this place when out for a few with friends. Pool. Video golf. Darts. Comfy seats. Friendly waitresses.

The chicken club house rap didn’t have any meat. It was a tortilla bread filled with lettuce! The quality of other food was not good as well!

Came here to play some pool. The waitress/hostess we had was simply amazing. Probably the best customer service I have ever experienced.
