I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my friend as a bereavement. I ordered them on Thursday July 20 which the site promised same day delivery (I order before 1pm). I received an email at 4pm that day notifying me they had been delivered. Today July 21 I receive a call from Gary at Floral Basket at 1:22pm asking me to call back about the delivery. I call back and there is confusion about the delivery (it hasn’t been delivered yet). Gary told me the driver needed a gate code to which I told him the neighborhood isn’t gated. At some point during this call I got disconnected on their end. I waited for them to call me back which they hadn’t. I called them back at 2pm and he was still checking with his driver. My friend let me know shortly after that since she wasn’t home they couldn’t deliver to her but said she could come to the shop or pay a “redelivery” fee. I paid $25 for delivery all ready. At no point did the shop reach out to me again letting me know they couldn’t deliver the arrangement or inform me about the options to have them redelivered. I called Gary back to confront him and all there was were excuses and multiple times I was told there were a lot of orders today (not my problem Gary). There is no accountability or professionalism. He refused to help because I booked through a “third party” company. I highly suggest you save your money and do not spend it at the Floral Basket because it is a trash establishment.

I ordered two arrangements on the same day and The Floral Basket delivered! My Grandma and Mom spent two weeks taking care of me after surgery and I wanted to surprise them with a small thank you. I ordered two of the Floral Specials where the florist picks what goes into each arrangement and they were both gorgeous and smelled wonderful. Also, I had one arrangement delivered to my Mom's school where she teaches and it was delivered after the school was closed. The driver called my mom and provided options for how she could get her flowers. She told him that she was tired and unwell and could he deliver them at her house and he did. It helped that it was 2 miles from the school and the same street that they had just delivered my grandmas but it made all the difference to her and me. She has Rheumatoid Arthritis and teaches 24 five year old's. At the end of the day she just wants to go home and crash. So this kind gesture made her week. I would order from this company again in a heartbeat. It will be my go-to florist in San Antonio.

The first time I try and have flowers sent to my wife I trusted them. I explained it was special and went days ahead of Valentines and they assured me the delivery would be done. So all day of Valentines I was eager to get the call from my wife about her surprise. NOPE. Wife gets home empty handed. No flowers no surprise I look like a schmuck. I call the florist and they tell me there was a mixup with the deliveries and by the time they made it back out, her work was not accepting deliveries. I received no call, my wife received no call and the only resolution was a delivery to my. home. I am VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THEM. Resolution will be a full refund. Thanks for nothing. UPDATE 2/16/2018 They made up by sending a rose arrangement to my wife at her work with an apology, a box of chocolates and a stuffed bear. My wife Loved the flowers a bit more because she was the only person with flowers that day so all focus was on her. thank you.

I saw this place on DoorDash for “last minute same day delivery” merchants. I first called the place and asked about one of their floral arrangements i wanted to order for a gift and then i told her i was going to order it on DoorDash as soon as we disconnected. She said no problem and that was that. I ordered the floral arrangement and then later they cancel the order. I call Doordash and they tell me it wasnt them it was the merchant. So i call The Floral Basket back and this rude lady i was transferred to tells me she doesn’t know why the app let me order or why her employee told her it was ok but they aren’t accepting orders. I ask her why and she said they just cant with an attitude. Horrible customer service. If you cant follow through with an order on the same day then why advertise yourself as such?!! I wouldn’t be so mad if this lady hadn’t been so rude like she didnt care about customers.

First and foremost I'm not a flower person. However I recently had a week"s stay in the hospital. My husband was frantically searching for a flower shop. He came across this one. Since he was stressed about me..he just went in this shop and told our life story. I don't know the man's name, but hes older and very patient. He listened and then arranged a beautiful bouquet for me. But wait...after my husband left, the staff huddled in prayer for us. I have not one but two arrangements from this shop. Each more beautiful than the last. My husband was determined to have me visit this shop when I was discharged from the hospital. The man was very excited to see me there after all I've been through. The Floral Basket and Helen were amazing during the hardest time in my family’s life. We lost a loved one and reached out to Helen for flower arrangements for the service. Helen was so caring and kind that she made it simple for us to find the arrangements we liked, make a few changes that made them special for my dad and delivered them to the funeral home even on a Sunday. When we walked in for the first time to set up for the wake, the peaceful smell of lilies was so comforting. It's difficult to put into words how impressed I am with the quality of work done by this shop but I'm going to try my best. I placed a last minute order for a dear friends birthday today. I wanted to surprise my fiance' for her 31st birthday and I was too busy to come by the store to place my order. I got a hold of the owner; I showed her an example of what I'd like but also provided my fiance's favorite flowers. She quickly made it her own by adding her some of her favorite flowers. I also ordered Rose Pedals and when I arrived to pick-up my order, I received more than I expected. The arrangement was very beautiful, full, and fresh. Never the timely person, Gina, proprietor and owner, answered the phone promptly on such a busy day and took my order for a bundle package she had on special. I was able to arrive shortly after and the staff was hustling along smoothly with the increased business from the Hallmark holiday. Gina greeted me and informed me the finishing touches were being done. She was nice enough to include a few perks and I was soon out the door. A great start up business with an owner who has a firm grasp on taking care of people. Definitely the go to person for all floral affairs. I wish her the best and will be back.

Though there were closer floral & known shops to choose from I went ahead & selected this one due to reviews, being family run & in the same strip center as Nadlers Bakery. Very clean & inviting shop. Greated warmly & waited on quickly. I'd seen an arrangement I liked online that I wantedfor my anniversary, asked if I could wait on it to be made and they gladly helped me right there on the spot. I went over to Nadlers to grab lunch while it was being made. Excellent customer service here and prices were fair. Thank God I found a new shop for my floral needs. Give them a try

I am honored to know the owner personally and her Staff, they are very professionally. I remember one day I happened to be at the shop, a lady came in to get some roses for daughter and granddaughter she had losted both of them. Gina arranged her Roses in a lovely bouquet and gave her a couple of extra ones. The lady was crying and Gina called me to come up front so we could both pray for her and bless her, we felt her pain. She left sad but uplifted & grateful for what Gina did for her. This is what the The Floral Shop is about every customer is special to them.

Update to my Review: 5/6/22: I contacted the owner & she made an adjustment to my credit card & was very kind with regards to what had happened. I appreciate when an owner gets involved. 4/28/22 :We ordered flowers for a cousin whose husband had passed away and we asked to have Lily's and was spending a $150 plus delivery. I was so disappointed in the size of the arrangement and there were no lilies we particularly wanted the Easter lily the owner promised we would get what we wanted. We live out of state & selected them based on location & ratings.

I ordered flowers for my nana for Mother’s Day weekend. My nana had no idea they were delivered, they found them at 12:30pm Texas time and I received and email they were delivered at 12:30pm EST. I also paid for a Deluxe Flower arrangement and I am not sure what I got. I sent flowers to multiple people and they either got something comparable to the picture on the website. What my grandma got was nothing like I paid for. I understand that maybe there is a flower shortage? But then please that should have been expressed to me.

I selected a local florist because I wanted that local touch and I definitely received that customer service from The Floral Basket. After placing my order online, I was able to call and speak with their staff and ask that the arrangement include sun flowers as shown in the arrangement. They took the time to do so. The person receiving the bouquet loves sunflowers and they sent me a photo of the bouquet indicating the sun flowers brought sunshine and joy to her hospital room. Thanks for the local touch!

Completely messed up a delivery for over a $100 in flowers. Ruined the occasion. I told them i would call back with the specific directions, and they asssured me they knew the place of delivery. So, they just googled it and picked the first address that popped up. I guess they felt lucky. They assured me the flowers would get delivered by 9:00 am, but received after 3:00 pm. When delivery is key to their business, they should get all the details and not try and make them up. Horrible.

The recipient absolutely loved her arrangement! The bouquet was gorgeous from every angle. The flowers are all healthy and in the best conditions with beautiful color. I had ordered online and called the shop shortly after to ask about a delivery time frame, customer service was amazing! So glad I was able to find this wonderful place. The service could be better. I ordered a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates for my mom. The box of chocolates never arrived -- and they were slow to correct the order. Maybe they shouldn't offer chocolates as an option. Thankfully, 1800flowers took care of me. The Floral Basket could take a lesson from 1-800flowers. As a small business, I would think customer service would matter to them. What a shame.

Today, We stopped by last minute to get some flowers for my daughters best friends graduation in Kerrville. The florist working in the back didn’t even hesitate. Immediately she thought of an idea and we were on the road with a beautiful bouquet. My son also had purchased some flowers for his girlfriend….the bouquet was beautiful!!!! Wow. I happened to be walking through the mall and these two nice ladies handed me flowers! I was having a bad day and they turned that around for me. I called the flower shop to speak to the manager and the owner answered the phone. I thanked her and she said "oh honey, we just wanted to brighten peoples day." That was so cool!! Horrible my fiancé ordered flowers for me and sent them to my job for vday and hey decide to have our security sign off and then they take them back. This whole thing went up to our HR because of their delivery ppl. This sucked my fiancé was assuming I didn't thank him lol when it was the florist deleivery who didn't know what they were doing and our security officer felt horrible.

The dozen mother's day yellow roses looked great when delivered, but the next day all but one were drooping... reached out to The Floral Basket but no response. $130 for the worst flower arrangement. It looked like someone just threw tulips from their backyard into a vase. The stems looked awful, the vase was dirty, water was dirty. Don’t waste your time or money with this place. I’m mortified my family received this. Save yourself $130 and just pick up flowers from HEB.

The Floral Basket is a nice flower shop. They took my order pretty quickly, and I mean, I placed the order overnight and it was ready the next morning. The shop is a bit cluttered inside, and I had to wait a minute before staff approached me for assistance. I would still be happy to work with them in the future.
