I had some doubts about The Keg, but turns out it was not so bad! The staff was excellent and we had no problem getting a table. The restaurant is in a historical building which made the eating experience quite enjoyable. My partner and I first shared the calamari. They were good but I wish the menu would say that there would be peppers and olives mixed in there. I had the teriyaki sirloin which was delicious and my partner had the blacked chicken with a side of mashed potato which was also amazing. Now for the less good: the fries were way too salty, I ended up leaving most of them untouched. The 2 pieces of zucchini and 2 pieces of pepper looked a bit pitiful and were rather bland. I'd also expect a bit more in terms of plating from a restaurant with such prices.

Great service by our server. Wait was just over 45 minutes for our entree which was a little longer than we had expected. Food was good but steak was ordered medium but arrived med rare (still ate as it was very good) but not as ordered. The half rack of baby back ribs was simply dry and very thin. I have had ribs many times at other Keg restaurants and this by far was the smallest rack I have been served. Wasnt a terrible meal, and we did enjoy it, but definately not worthy of the 5 star rating we have experienced at many different The Keg locations. It was our first time visiting the Kingston location and would certainly give it another try, but if it comes up short in the food category again we would be unlikely we would return to this location.

Wonderful waiter, excellent customer service throughout the whole evening. It goes without saying that the food was phenomenal and prepared exactly the way I wanted it to be. Got the shrimp skewers and holy mama! Those shrimp are big and juicy and you get 5 of them. The complementary sourdough bread with the creamed roasted butter spread was great too. Had the billy miners ice cream pie which seems to never disappoint. You get a massive piece but it's a light dessert that doesn't weigh you down. Thank Keg for a wonderful evening.

I absolutely love The Keg. And after tonight’s dinner and experience is exactly why I keep going back. My partner and I went there for date night, our server Zach was on point this evening! This man needs a raise. We had shrimp as our appetizer, and the bacon wrapped filet mignon with garlic mash for our main!! We will definitely be going back.

Thanks for a lovely night, we were gathered together as a family for our wedding anniversaries and birthday celebration. The server, Steward, was excellent and entertained our humour during the dinner. Unfortunately two of our steaks were over cooked but the server and manager were quick to overcome this by offering to redo them to eat now or package them to take out. We took the take out option and was expecting only steaks, to our surprise, we got two full meals! We are frequent customers of The Keg Kingston, we have always been satisfied with the service, and today was above our expectations. We will go again and we hope to get Steward again!

The food was good and what you would expect from a chain restaurant. Not much deviation with their flavouring. The calamari appetizer was very tasty. We had the chef come to our table to explain what would be the best meal for our allergies as they take allergies very seriously. The vegetarian in the family enjoyed the Mediterranean Cauliflower with shrimp. I had to deduct marks for the atmosphere. It was too dark even tho we sat near the window. The music was so loud I could barely hear what the waitress was saying.

Delicious food and we were surprised with some wonderful treats for our 10th anniversary. One of the best meals I've had in a long time from a restaurant. Harry was a wonderful server and made us feel very welcome
