I’ve been a client of Linda’s for over 20 years. It took me a long time to find her. I needed a vet for both of my “ high maintenance” westie’s who was an “open to suggestion, outside of the box” thinker, but also a vet who leaves no stone unturned. That’s Linda. In my experience, I have yet to experience a vet who shares these characteristics. I have never had an issue with the clinic until Covid dug it’s claws in her practice. This is my message to all of you who took the time to write your “ bad experience cos I had to wait” comments. It is impossible to offer the same pre-Covid service and availability when NOBODY wants to work. The clinic has been struggling to get consistent, reliable staff to no avail. As a result both Linda and Jen have been stuck most days until midnight trying to catch-up. The increase in Covid pets has only exasperated the problem, but Linda would be hard-pressed to turn anyone away. Yes, I’m waiting on something too, but I also respect the impossible predicament they are in. So, my suggestion to you is this. Focus on the good experiences you’ve had, and if you’re incapable of patience, empathy and understanding, please keep your frustration in check and go elsewhere.

Yes, wait times can be long sometimes, but I still give this clinic 5 stars. The quality of service, the time taken with your pet and the level of holistic understanding is by far worth the wait. I have been taking my 2 dogs and 2 cats to Dr. Kazienko for well over a decade and now, with both dogs being seniors (11 & 12 yrs old), they are still not on any prescription drugs and are fully active without any serious health issues. I can directly attribute this to the level of care they receive to this day from this vet. She doesn't push over-vaccination, surgeries, prescription drugs, highly-processed prescription kibble diets, or other things unless it is absolutely necessary. It's that kind of approach that has earned my trust over the years. All of my current (and future) pets will continue to benefit from her unique and holistic philosophy. If you understand that high-quality care for your furkids takes time and is worth the wait, this clinic is one of the best!

Here is absolute honest truth...although Dr. Linda may be an exceptional vet, her reception and business practice is questionable. We have struggled in trying to book an appt, which is near to impossible...never being able to secure an exact time for an appt. I overlooked these faults, and continued to book an appt. 4 months in advance, to have our young dog spade. We received a call 4 weeks prior to our scheduled spade surgery, as they explained that they have to cancel our appt due to an emergency surgery on that day. I ask them... if it is such an emergency, why are you waiting 4 more weeks. Obviously, challenging their decision and procedures methods, and ruffling their feathers. We then received a Registered Letter with our all our dog's medical files., obviously since we do not conform to their schedule... they discard you. Shame on you Dr. Linda. Obviously you are above us all.

When we get in to see Dr. Linda it's great, unfortunately there are never any appointments, when I call I'm told I haven't been to them in 2 - 3 years and that I should come in but I'm never given an appointment and whenever they take my number I end up waiting for weeks with no phone call. I found another veterinarian down the street, I called them and day of I had an appointment in addition to a free follow-up phone call and a free follow-up appointment. I wish I could say I was satisfied, and while Dr. Linda is good their appointments suck, they never have openings and they don't seem to care. The other issue I have is trying to get people off of revolution, asking them to sign a waiver if they want it ordered in order to administer it. It prevents many of the common issues that dogs experience.

Dr. Kazienko has been our family vet for approx. 20 years. I have recommended her many times as she and her staff are amazing. An example of this. When my previous dog was attacked, I called her in a panic over an ear bleed, she advised me how to take care of my dog with simple ingredients at home. Also advised that if these didn’t work to come see her. This was one of many times she showed how far above and beyond she would go for my dog. Not all matters were as simple, however she remains firm on not giving unnecessary vaccines and gives sage advice when asked. She also helps my current dog with chiropractic adjustments, as Keira is a klutz.

Linda and "the Jennifer's" are the best! - And can't forget Michael!! We have been with Dr. Linda for many years and with many pets. She is the best vet we have ever had. Once you meet Dr. Linda and Jennifer or Michael her vet technicians you realize you are in the best hands. I haven't seen any people that care about their patients more. They go above and beyond each and every time. I have recommended Maples and Dr. Linda to more people and will continue to do so. You are not just $ signs to them. You may have to wait longer then you wish, but the wait is worth it if you truly want your fur baby in the very best hands.

Wow. I didn’t even get a chance to become a client. I’ve been looking for a vet for our pup so I’d been calling around figuring out how each clinic works and trying to find a place that felt like a good fit (kind, shared values, etc) I called this clinic and the receptionist mocked me, cutting me off an asking me if I was going to base my puppy’s care on price of care. Needless to say, we didn’t share values or points of view, so we never made it to procedure, recommendations or a quote. If you’re searching for a rude and judgmental clinic, this is your place.

When 2 other vets diagnosed my dog with a deadly ailment and expensive lab tests, a neighbour told me to see Maples for a third opinion. They asked me to bring my dog in right away, then the Dr performed 60 seconds of chiropractor adjustment to my disbelief. My dog was fine after that, he had a pinched nerve only not deadly and paralyzing parvo virus as the two other vet clinics had said. From then on, my dog required 2-3 more chiro adjustments over the span of his life. Always had great care here. Moved away and cannot find another vet this good.

This is an excellent Animal Hospital. Linda is a great vet and listens well to what the problem is with your pet. She takes the time to know your pet and is very gentle and your pet becomes comfortable with her. I have been going to Linda for 14 years and she has done excellent work with all my dogs and I highly recommend her to anyone. She is very skilled and knows her business. I rarely write reviews on Google, but I would be remiss to not share my experiences with Maples for the last 20+ years with family pets and now my own cats. Dr. Linda and Jen are kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable about what our pets face, and were incredibly patient with me as my cat went through surgery, treatment, and end-of-life care for a sarcoma on his leg. I would always recommend Maples to anyone looking for a compassionate vet in Burlington!

No one would see my kitty when he heard his paw everyone was full up and too busy.. well this place was completely booked up too but they took time to take care of my little guy because they knew he was in pain so for that they get five stars in my book... as far as I'm concerned any animal in pain gets priority over an animal just getting a checkup or their nails clipped

Dr. Linda literally saved our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Ginger's life in 2005 with her treatments. We were advised by another vet Ginger needed at least $8000 in surgery and treatments. Dr. Linda treated her back ailment with chiropractic massages and Ginger lived to be a ripe old age without further back issues. Dr. Linda is the most caring veterinarian I have met

A friend referred me to The Maples and I have never been happier with my decision. Dr. Kazienko saved me from spending thousands of dollars on a surgery suggested at another clinic, and helped develop a good plan for my dog. He is happy to go in for his chiro adjustments and plops himself on the scale on his own. The sure sign of a comfortable experience! Thank you !!

Great vet doctor. Dr. Kazienko specializes in chiropractic care for animals and saved my dogs life when my dog had hindleg paralysis. I was told by my old vet that my dog needed a $5,000.00 operation to fuse her low back vertebrae or put her to sleep. But Dr. Kazienko cured her wiggle in her walk and now my dog runs and plays. What a miracle veterinarian doctor.

Outstanding vet. Thorough exams with full write up after every visit. Consistent care for over 12 years. Clear lay person explanations and options for care always provided. Busy and afternoon appointments run late but a full schedule is a good sign of demand. Dr. Linda and the techs are patient and give you all the time needed to understand your pet.

I will absolutely never go to another Vet. Dr. Linda is absolutely incredible! My dog Sheen had a fall off the bed last year and was paralyzed. Dr. Linda was able to get her walking again and we can't believe how far she's come. The staff is top notch here as well, always friendly and accommodating. Don't even think of going somewhere else!

We have been clients here for 15 years. Dr. Kazienko is fabulous, extremely competent, professional and shows genuine care for all her clients. Our q5 year old Vizsla has greatly benefited from her care and advice over the years. The wait to see the Dr. can be long but that because she doesn't compromise on the care for every patient.

Dr. Kazienko is amazing! I love that she does chiropractic adjustments for pets. Often surgery and medication can be avoided. Her bedside manner has always been 100%. She explains each finding or advice in a calm and understandable way. Her expertise is in high demand so you better be willing to wait.

We have been clients of this clinic for many years. Today we felt like we had an emergency with Dug and the earliest time to be seen was a week down the road. Not very happy with the person who answers the phone either. I have asked for the vet to call and I will see if this actually happens.

Dr Linda is fabulous and so is the entire team at Maples Animal Hospital. They have a holistic approach and provide a lot of information so you never leave with any unanswered questions. Because of the attentiveness the wait time for your appointment can be lengthy....but worth it.

This clinic is run by a group of good people who are great to interact with, very accommodating, and very patient - a quality that our boy Monty, with his somewhat (very) hysterical personality really requires! Very happy to have this group for his veterinary care.

This vet is absolutely top notch. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and a great sense of humour as well. She has a wonderful energy and my cat was extremely at ease with her (even so much as rolling into his back for tummy rubs while on the table).

The Maples Animal Hospital is a blessing for our beloved animals . Dr. Linda and Jenn are the most caring and professional people I have ever met . They work tirelessly to give exceptional care to their clients and they obviously love their work .

I changed veterinarians a couple of years ago, and so happy with my choice. Dr. K has been wonderful. She explains everything, respects our choices for our fur babies, and makes every visit a personal one.

Dr. KAZIENKO is fabulous. She is honest and caring. She will tell you as it is. She does chiro too which is great and extended the length of my dogs' lives. I love that it is still a privately run clinic.
