The shopping center is not so much a five-star center because of the center, rather because of the people who lease spaces for their businesses here. The jewel is Barron's market. If you haven't been there, it's an excellent small market with high quality products and all their departments including fresh salads, olives, bread, fruits and vegetables, as well as a robust selection of wines, beers and liquor. As well as all the other grocery items one might want. There's several other restaurants, a beauty salon, frozen yogurt store, and more. Easy in and out.

The mercado is an anchor in rancho Bernardo. Baron's market is the anchor along with Navy Federal credit Union and the FedEx store. You have plenty of smaller size restaurants Thai pizza and Indian along with a breakfast joint. Parking can kind of be crazy at times. AK this is rancho Bernardo. There's something for everyone here for lunch or dinner

They have a great selection but overall the atmosphere is lacking. A lot of the people in Rancho Bernardo are rude, nobody knows how to park, and good luck getting your lunch from any of the restaurants on time as there are nearby industrial parks that flood in between 11:00am and 1:00 p.m.

This shopping center is great, all the things you need for daily life and more. I live nearby and just walk over for groceries, quick lunch etc. All the shops are well rated and the owners are very friendly.

Lots of interesting shops. I was there to drop off a package at the FedEx Office. Very helpful people there. I was in and out in only a couple of minutes. I will go back to see what other shops are there.

Barons Market is the clear highlight of the shopping center, but there's also alot of really good places to eat- Korean BBQ, sushi, subs- it's pretty solid. Lots of available parking.

The driving in this parking lot is really pathetic. No one follows the basic CA driving laws. There are multiple places that I go there; I've almost been hit one too many times!
