I called Ryan for an electrical issue that was causing us to not have power in any of our outlets upstairs. He had a full schedule the next few days, but when I mentioned I worked from home and couldn't use my office due to the problem, he offered to come by between two of his bookings that same day, and he didn't add any extra fee for the short notice. It was the first time I had to hire an electrician, and I'm so glad I went with Ryan. Finding the source of the outage required a bit of detective work on his part, but he seemed to enjoy the challenge. He was able to find and fix the problem in under an hour and took the time to explain it to me and answer all of my questions. He was very professional and approachable, and was transparent about his fees ahead of the service. I would 100% recommend hiring Ryan! If I ever need any other electrical help, he'll be the first person I call.

Thormack Electric did exceptional work on my nearly 70-year old house this last Sunday and got much of it up to code very quickly. Ryan identified mistakes that were done by the previous owner, a self-taught handyman, and he fixed them all methodically, professionally and much more quickly and cheaper than I expected. I was so impressed with the caliber of his work and character, I asked him to fix twice the number of things, once I met him. He explains complex electrical problems and the corrections needed in easy terms. He is professional, punctual, honest to a fault, and was sensitive to my budget. I contacted Ryan from Thormack Electric on a recommendation through the Next Door app. I required the replacement of some outside wiring on my shop. Unfortunately for my wallet Ryan discovered many issues with some other wiring and a breaker panel that was not to code. Ryan was very thorough in explaining what all the issues were and making recommendations on how to proceed. He did excellent work, is reasonably priced and I would definitely hire him for any future jobs. I recently hired Ryan again for a basement renovation. Ryan rewired the basement and fixed alot of wiring that had been done against code. Very satisfied with his work and his professionalism. One of the builder's spec bathroom fans failed in our 10 year old home and needed full replacement, as the original fan was no longer available. We saw that Ryan at Thormack Electric does a lot of work installing lighting in ceilings so we knew that we could count on him to work in our attic space properly. He replied to our request very quickly, detailed what would be involved in installing the new fans, and provided a quote at a fair price. The work was done efficiently and cleanly, as not to track construction debris around our home. We are so happy with the upgraded bathroom fans (he installed new fans in two bathrooms) and feel good knowing the work was done properly.

I had asked on a Facebook group for a price on installing lights and plugs in my basement, we live in a newer area. Ryan reached out quickly and offered to come over and look at my basement and provide a quote. He listened to what I wanted and made some suggestions that made sense. He took care of the permit and made all the calls for the inspector. He was very fast and his pricing was very reasonable for what I was needing. Ryan was very methodical and thorough which I appreciated as it allowed him to present options to proceed. He was very honest about what needed to be corrected immediately for safety reasons and what may need to be addressed later down the road. Ryan was quick, courteous, and patient with all my ‘so what does that mean?’ questions. He repaired several electrical issues for me that were a big safety hazard. He even took the time to do a complimentary safety inspection to inform me of any other issues around our property. On top of that he even called Epcor for us to have them come fix a faulted neutral. The cost was very fair and I will 100% call Ryan if I have any further electrical issues.
