I've hired a car from here once and it was a trouble free experience that was cheaper than any of the other national chains present locally. The vehicle I hired was clean, fully fuelled, only had about 2,500 miles on the clock and worked without any issues over the course of the 2 days I had it. One thing that does merit comment is the thoroughness of the check of the vehicle for damage, both when picking up and dropping off. Two customers returning their cars before me appeared to be dissatisfied with the blemishes that were picked up in the check. One aspect I found particularly appealing whilst booking the car online is the ability to pay by PayPal, which saves a couple of minutes and the hassle of having to track down your wallet. Thrifty also offer a drop-off service for people returning their cars, who then need to get to London City Airport.

Ok. Let's see...... The courtesy car was from Beckton branch.....the worse experience, they stopped the petrol money even if I filled up the tank more than was.....also, tried to steal 251£ , luckily I saw the transaction and called my bank.....next day, when I called them, they tried a strange explanation - sorry , it's a mistake..... I don't like this kind of mistakes, and I will not use Thrifty NEVER, and this is because some smart people are doing dodgy things.

Absolutely horrible customer service. And the cars are terrible as well. When they have a problem the company doesn't want to know or hear about it. Just pone you off to someone else. Also the cars are very purely specked and not clean inside or out. I'm taking for a personal experience. Do NOT use. You are better of paying £10 more with another company and getting a better car and cervice

Hired from thrifty beckton for the first time had no problem the staff was really friendly, the person who served me was very helpful and very friendly his name was shomz he took me to the car showed me around, and then asked me if i was happy with the vehicle, was a fast process didnt have to wait long at all, Would definitely hire from them again. Thank you for all the help from thrifty.

I've been using the Beckton branch through work since 2019 and can't speak highly enough of the drivers/call handlers who've looked after me over the years. Really helpful and enthusiastic team who make sure the cars are in good condition (fluids filled up & cars are cleaned) and just a genuinely friendly, seamless, and well communicated service all round! POOR Customer Service. Brought the car to my location, which is not as per the booking specification. A fake commitment, to bring the replacement car as per the booking reservation but that didn't workout by them and no communication to customer in case of no delivery.

Went in to speak to a staff member about renting a car for 2 weeks to a month and found the staff member to arrogant unhelpful and very unhelpful sorry guys I won't be using this company

The location is very good accessible from A406, A12, A13 also Dartford Bridge and Blackwell tunnel. Staff are really friendly and help you out as much as possible.

Very good clean quality cars hard to pick but with the right people it's not too difficult to choose... Very good customer service from the team
