Received a gift from my partner. The piece itself is beautiful however the chain was too short to its liking. It was the return to tiffany double heart pendant. Haven't even had my gift for a week yet. Went in to ask for a different size, ridiculous that they charged an extra $80 just to add 2 inches of chain. The pendant is not removable from the chain forcing you to purchase an extra few inches just to fit into your liking. Being a multimillion dollar company, things like this should be part of your complimentary service. I was shocked to have been needing to pay for such minor services that are expected to be complimentary like other companies. What I REALLY dislike about this is, some people were not born with the skinniest and petite neck, the standard chain it comes in is 16inches, and to some people this size may not be comfortable or may be too small for them, like me. Felt like a choker. Horrible design choice to only make this piece fit petite woman and not be considerate of other sizes. My experience with the sales associate was horrible. Horrible sense of client experience. Never once made eye contact with me. Super rushed for no reason when the store wasn't busy. I can tell she did not want to deal with me as I was only considered an "after sales" client with a $80 transaction. She would ask me to sign paper work and before I even grabbed a pen she would walk away, grab and ipad and tell me to create an account. Asking ME to do 5 things at once without even giving me the time to even FINISH ONE THING. 1. told me to sign paper work agreement for chain extension 2. grabbed an ipad and told me to make an account 3. follow her to the other register 4. make payment 5. finishing up paperwork with receipts and handing off my product. All of these things she ASKED ME TO DO within 5 minutes. And I havent even signed any paperwork yet before she rushes me to do everything. HORRIBLE customer service. Extremely disorganized and unaware of how to properly service. Client experience is not transactional and a step-by-step procedure. Never coming back nor buying anything from Tiffany again. Tiffany is under LVMH yet every other LVMH company like LV and DIOR offer amazing and complimentary service.
I went with my daughter to exchange a Christmas gift on December 26, 2021, at about 12:30 pm at the Tiffany store inside Holt Renfrew. She was exchanging the ring for a smaller size with the gift receipt. The salesperson helping us didn't seem like she wanted to do the exchange. She kept cleaning the ring, suggesting it was scratched; she said she would need manager approval. She went to the back; when she came back, she told us that the manager would not exchange it because it was scratched (I didn't see any scratches), and we would need to go to the Burrard store where it was initially purchased. I didn't want to make a fuss, so we left and walked down to the Burrard store; it was a great inconvenience. I have mobility issues, and we had to leave the mall and go out in the slushy snow. We went to the Tiffany store on Burrard and had no issues whatsoever to exchange it, and they even told my daughter the ring was not scratched, not sure what the deal was, but I will never shop at that outlet (Tiffany at Holt Renfrew) again. Very disappointed in the customer service we received. Point here my daughter called in advance, and they told her she could exchange it there; I felt that they didn't want to help us and were quite rude in sending us to a different store. If you have to do an exchange at the store where it was bought, they could have communicated that over the phone instead of giving us the runaround and even postulating that the ring was scratched when in fact, it was not. Very disappointed in the customer service received at the Tiffany store located at Holt Renfrew. Don't waste your time there if you want to buy Tiffany; go to the Burrard store, where you will receive much better customer service!
Wish there was an option for negative stars as that is what this store deserves. The service is pathetic and the staff including the manager is extremely rude. I bought a ring for my wife 2 weeks ago but didn’t like the design afterwards so came back to return it, barely wore it, as we were explained when we bought it that if we do not like it we can return the ring, when we came back the staff started rubbing the ring and took it to the back and came back saying there is a scratch on the ring which apparently you couldn’t even see with a microscope but due to that it wasn’t saleable and they wouldn’t take it back. Reading through the reviews seems like a common theme for this store that they refuse to do any exchange and refunds for customers for made up reasons. The staff is extremely rude and will make any excuse to not take a return or exchange an item. Anyone looking to shop Tiffany in Vancouver, recommend them to go to the Burrard outlet and avoid this store.
I wish I could give them -10! I went there to buy a ring for my husband and there was me and a Asian couple. There were 4 sales people all Asian and not one of them offered to help me but all of them for all over the Asian couple. I even asked for someone to help me and they told me to wait . After 5 minutes finally another sales clerk came from the back and helped me. I’ve never felt such racism before! They literally kept giving me looks… There is only 2 stores in Vancouver otherwise I would have left. I use to go to the one at Oakridge mall but they closed that one. I bought the ring because I wanted a specific gift for my husband, otherwise I would have walked out. I will never go back! I can totally understand why this store has gotten such bad reviews!
Tiffany & Co, in their infinite business wisdom (I.e. greed) have decided to completely eliminate their jewelry cleaning services until further notice. Because somehow leaving jewelry at a store, having it cleaned, then picking it up a WEEK later is a COVID risk. Another name for it? Pandemic profiteering, using the pandemic as a way to save their money. I have several pieces but am shocked at this greedy move by Tiffany & Co! I hope this cheap move of yours is worth losing loyal customers, such as myself, all to save a few dollars. Bye bye.
I had a couple of bracelets that broke and I sent them to this location, I received a phone call from a lady named Monique, who was amazing with helping me get them fixed. These two bracelets have a very sentimental meaning to me and she was so kind to listen to my story and ensured that we can get this fixed for me ASAP. I love that she offered me a couple of options and it truly was something that I ended up being happy with. Her follow up is was great, Amazing Customer service Thank you again :)
In 20 years this location of Tiffany and co has never let me down. You can always find something classy and classic or just plain beautiful. They just don’t seem to sell any junk. I have always found the staff helpful and engaging . This latest experience buying a Christmas presents for my wife was exceptional. Summer was fun and full of great, thoughtful ideas... and let me tell you the gifts were a hit....when your partner sees that blue bag under the tree, the smiles start right away. Thank you!
Very bad experience! Bought a ring in store, out of stock that needs to ship to home. When I received the ring, it was too big compared to what I tried. Back to store, the director said the ring has been scratched out, and reinforced me I bought it with a employee price? It was too big I was not able to wear it, where the scratches came from? And why the employee price make it different for the quality I should receive? Went to the other store in Robson St, changed the size with no problem!
Too bad we can't give negative stars. This store deserves a -10. This is the worst store ever. For starters the attendant Rene Hong didn't even noticed we walking in the store. Then we had to walk to her because she couldn't bother to come to us. Then she refused to exchange an item that I got 3 days ago, but was bought in a different store, saying there were scratches on it. Stay away from this store if you want good service.
We bough not only one, but two necklaces from Tiffany and Co, and despite leaving multiple detailed messages, and calling multiple days/times never received a call back; even after a week!!! Extremely disappointed as I’ve always loved their jewelry, but will no longer shop here because of the absolutely horrible customer service. Very disappointed Tiffany and Co. I will not be recommending anyone shop here
It’s an absolutely horrible experience, the staff are rude, bot respect my time, not taking responsibility, no acting manager available. It’s sad as the initial interaction was great but as soon as you have a concern or need exchange or return the customer service flips. I wish I knew this before I made a purchase from here. Don’t want to associate any of these memories to a memorable jewelry I buy.
I went to a store at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver today, and I was really disappointed with their service. When I bought my goods online, I wanted to return or exchange them in the store, but they told me I needed to go to another store. They don't have a return service! I paid for parking at the mall, nothing was done, and I had to drive to another store, which made me waste my time!
I'm a college student in Vancouver and doing final project in customer service class. We visited here as customers. We were satisfied to get excellent and polite customer service, though this store has got many bad reviews. The only thing is, we sent an email to Tiffany & Co. to ask for an interview, but they didn't reply at all... That's why I gave this score.
I was helped by a gentleman named Ricki, who works at this location. HE HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! Usually the service at Tiffany is great, but this particular location has this employee...and it goes downhill from there. He definitely is rude, doesn't want to be there and has a terrible attitude when you ask him even one question. AVOID RICKI!
Excellent customer service! I called the store to place an order because there is no Tiffany location where I live. The employee was very helpful in helping me find what I wanted, and only took a couple minutes. The item was delivered in 3 days, and they provided free shipping to all provinces in Canada! Very happy with the product and packaging! :)
The Korean lady who interrupted her coworker to deal with us herself was one of the worst retail workers I’ve ever met. She was so stuck up and full of herself, not to mention how rude her tone was. I am satisfied with the product itself but the customer service ruined the whole experience. I should’ve gone to the other Tiffany’s location downtown.
Caution: these are not Tiffany you are dealing with. You are dealing with Holt Renfrew store. No other Tiffany store can help you with the return nor exchange. I asked Lilian specifically if I can exchange my item at Tiffany in Ontario and she said yes three times to reassure me. So don’t trust that store
Had great service with our sales associate Nancy. She was wonderful for the many trips we made… purchased a view items from her, and it was always an experience. Always generous and kind with her hospitality.. Will be going back to add pieces to my jewelry collection.
Went to get my ring size fit. I also wanted to try out the styles they had available. They have limited options and sizes for you to try. It'd be nice if more styles were available and if they could provide more suggestions or recommendations.
