Unfortunately, could not get a storage unit here due their discriminatory practices. I was told that I could not get a storage unit because a relative of mine with the same LASTNAME had an outstanding balance from many years ago. Not sure what that had to do with me? I couldn’t believe it, I was shocked and I reiterated the fact that this unit is for ME and only ME but they told me they will not do business with me. Was willing to prepay for three months in advanced, submit a credit check, put my credit card on file and all that but nope - I was prevented from doing so based on discriminatory practices. I recommend anyone to take their storage needs to Sentinel Storage North not far from here. The staff are much more pleasant and it was cheaper for the same size unit. Most importantly, your human rights won’t be violated.

Avoid this place at all cost! They have zero understanding of customer service! If we could give them a zero, we certainly would!! We were with them for two years and when we noticed that all our belongings were covered in dirt and damaged, we asked them if we could move to an indoor unit. We moved everything indoors and they would not let us off a $20 transition fee, even though we had paid approx. $360 each month for the last two years. The lady at the desk was not at all customer friendly (we think her name is Rachel). Our Advice is go to Sentinel. They, unlike U.STORE.IT, know how to treat their customers, plus their units are a lot cleaner. Our 10' x 15' indoor unit at Sentinel seems way bigger than the 'supposed' 10' x 15' equivalent unit at U.STORE.IT: How does that happen???

I've stored my personal belongings at this location for over 2 years. The main reason that I chose this location was because of how helpful the Manager & her husband are. Kathy went the extra mile to make sure that I had the best rates and made a couple changes to my contract when I needed to downsize my rental. Her Husband Ben even helped me in a last minute emergency when I inadvertently locked my unit incorrectly and he had to cut my lock off. I would highly recommend this location.. The rates are great and the staff are very helpful and always share a laugh or two!

So , Albert the nice manager has left . 3 managers changeover over the last 3 years or so. Basically , an empty storage site with a decoy Moving Truck that is never available . They begrudge you for even borrowing a ladder , as if Scrooge took reincarnation, with a modern day greedy attitude . The tills keep ringing and the people have gone ! Beware . Be very aware that having internet allows businesses to fabricate reviews and dress mutton up as lamb . Ouch ! No thanks . Extortion never pays . Remember that. What goes around comes around !

Albert (I hope I remembered the name correctly!) the manager, is very friendly, nice, caring, considerate, helpful and made me feel like I'd be safe going to my storage locker at any time. Bonus is he lives on site with his guard dog, which is reassuring. They sell great locks there at the office as well as reasonably priced packing supplies you may need such as mattress covers and good quality too, not the cheap thin ones. Prices were the best in the city. No hidden fees. Highly recommend this storage facility!

Had a 10x10 unit on the second floor of the building for four years which I had stored 20 years worth my life in, from clothing to fragile items and seasonal items. Very well maintained and cleaned. I finally bought a house and moved out of my storage unit. No bugs or mice damage, never put any traps inside my unit either. Staff who worked there were always friendly and helpful. Just wish prices could be adjusted to a lower amount, but than again it's the economy and other storages are charging the same.

Stay away! We had the lock sawed off and the storage space broken into, items stolen and the management tried brushing it off as no big deal. Mice droppings everywhere. Big security gate but I could hop the fence no problem as others have because the top wires on the fencing are already cut by others having done that. They are quick to charge late payment fees, and reminder fees even though they keep your credit card on file. There are MUCH better options in the market.

Claimed to be secure but my storage unit was broken into within 1 week of moving my stuff into unit. The staff impeded the investigation by touching evidence even after I said do not touch the cut off lock they picked it up. Go somewhere else, mine was not the only unit involved and they staff didn't seem to care about the other units (other locks cut off). I noticed the break in not the staff who are supposed to be monitoring the area.

My experience with U Store it North Edmonton location was great start to finish. Nathaniel & Kevin are so very accommodating and informative. It was a bonus I was able to catch them during their promotional offering which helped me financially during COVID, I was with them for about a year and never had any complaints. Thank y’all for communicating and helping me transition to my new home with ZERO strife.

Super friendly and accommodating. Easy access to units. Secure location. The staff here are amazing. I went to empty my unit and my key wouldn't work. Ron came and cut the lock for me and also lent me one of their locks so I didn't have to leave my unit open between trips. Will definitely use them again if ever needing storage. Really excellent service with this storage unit rental. Fair prices and easy accessibility. Great management as well. Nathaniel provides excellent customer service and was friendly and helpful. They offered lots of flexibility when I needed to extend my storage unit and prorated me the extra days. 100% would come back here again.

BEWARE! The "FREE MOVING TRUCK" they brag about to entice you in doesn't actually work and they charge you excessive fees when your credit card expires and they need to wait less than 24 hours for payment. The fine print requires you to pay when you vacate. There are far more honest storage sites with better terms in the city.

I have been with u store it for almost 2 years and have had excellent service every time I have I've walked in the door. The manager Kathy has always greeted me with a smile and has offered better than fantastic customer service. I would and have recommended them to friends on my experience with them on more than one occasion.

I have been with U store it for two years. Today I found out that they jacked my rent from $199 to $280 and took the money out of my account . When I both phoned and went there in person, the lady was very rude. I would never recommend this storage place to anyone and I will probably see them in court.

Nice manager. Very rude and discriminitive regional manager/counter person. Very assuming, judgemental management. It is policy that you only put your stuff into their storage units and stay away. In the words of management "the sign says"u-store-it" in reference to my needing access to my belongings.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! THIVES BREAK IN STORAGES!!! Before you rent a storage, be sure to take out insurance! They will not tell you about it and that they are not responsible for your things. Although they have this in the contract, read before signing. My storage was looted.

I rented a storage space here while my fiance and I were almagamating our households. The security was great and the staff was really on the ball, they had cancelled my contract when they saw my locker was empty, before I even had the opportunity to notify them.

Facility is clean , safe..not even any dust after quite some time lol...I have been dealing with kind understanding REAL PEOPLE about all of my needs...I would recommend this outfit to anyone looking for a fair and worry free experience...

Not Secure at all, my unit was broken into & i lost all my work tools. The police officer i dealt with didn't have anything good to say about the place. The on site manager & owner don't care at all, only cares about getting rent...

The manager there "Kathy" is very rude. She yells at customers and has very poor customer service. I'll be filing a complaint to head office. Next time i deal with her I am going to record her horrible attitude towards customers

Never had a problem here, was able to come in with a load of stuff and they found me a unit right away. Good price for sizes. Helped me out a ton when I was in a pinch with not much space to put all my stuff. Would recommend

Staff was helpful - I needed a short term storage unit and they gave me a great unit that I could drive in and access very easily. I could drive in and grab something from my unit in less than 5 minutes...I will be back.

Cheapest place in town, if you pay 3 months at a time. The lot is very secure & clean. The 5×5 units are large & tall. Staff is helpful & polite. They offer a free truck for 10 x10 units & up.

Good customer service. Location is great. This place seemed to be the more affordable place for storage in edmonton. At least they were cheaper than uhaul, sentinel and storage mart.

Great place for storage their hours and prices are super reasonable! Helped me and my boyfriend out when we were in a pinch for storage and they booked us in right away!

They are really inconsistent about there policy around living in the unit. I chose to waive my right to plumbing so there is no longer a good reason for kicking me out.
