I put all my belongings into storage here and 7 months later my unit was broken into (at least one more was also) and half my items stolen. I reported this to the police, who requested video surveillance from the company. The video has NEVER been supplied to police, so either there is no surveillance video, or they just do not care and do not want to help. As well, they promised me that within 6-8 weeks I'd get a refund of the remaining months I paid. 11 weeks later this still wasn't done and I had to hound them for this. I only received my money when I told them I would be making complaints to BBB and poor reviews. Despite what their website says, there is NO onsite manager at this facility. The manager is nice but I think it is those above her that are the problem. It's not so much the financial value of the stolen items, but the personal and sentimental items that are now gone forever. I regret the day I signed up to store my items here and advise anyone to go somewhere else. It's bad enough my items were stolen, but then to be treated so poorly by the company. This is a terrible company to deal with. They have NO respect for their clients. Store your things somewhere else.

I used this facility for a year and was very impressed by the level of customer service. I dealt with Joan at the front desk and she was amazing. Not only was she helpful and pleasant with me but I also watched her deal with a customer who seemed down on her luck and was having difficulty getting a payment transferred from her bank. The level of patience and kindness she showed toward this customer was outstanding. Many customer service people would not have been able to do what she did without getting frustrated but Joan remained calm and helpful even with customers waiting in line. To watch a customer being treated with such respect is always worth a wait in line! Highly recommend this place!

Excellent customer service at this location right from the first time I called to inquire about storage. She held our unit for the upcoming weekend and clearly explained to us how to enter the secured yard. Tabatha was there on Sunday to greet us. She clearly explained the contract and even showed us the storage unit prior to rental. Great operation hours to get your belongings into storage. Insurance on storage rental is optional but is an affordable option to help protect your belongings. I'm very happy with our choice ☺️

Big thank you to U Store It - West Edmonton for running such an organized and accessible facility.  Having a 30-foot garage unit was so handy to our west end home, family, and work... helped us tremendously through several months of renovations and moving in & out between condo and new home. The 30-foot drive-in unit was perfect for staging our items as we made progress, from yard/garden to garage, upstairs/downstairs all in an accessible row, from front door to back.

Prepaid for 3 months but only used the unit for a month. Would not refund the money and the lady running the place became very rude when questioned about it today. I knew there was something odd about this place. It was very unorganized when trying to sign up as well, they can't seem to get the "insurance" done correctly for some reason. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend anyone uses this storage place.

I found myself paying WAY too much at another storage company, so I looked around and found these guys. Not only are their rates MUCH cheaper, but the facility is clean and well kept. The application was quick and easy, and the nice lady serving me was very informative and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for your storage needs, and I almost forgot they have an excellent promotion going as well!

I came in before 9pm, and I didn’t realize that the gate wont let me out after 9pm, I entered the code but it says “No late exit” :( And nobody around, i phone the number but i just left a message, I knocked on to the door still nobody, theres no even emergency number to call if someone stuck inside. Now i have to stay here all night.

Dealt with pat , she really went the extra mile to help me out after many storage places I visited seemed to be bothered that I was even there asking about pricing. I felt completely satisfied with the service I received and highly recommend using U-store solely based on my dealings with pat.. Wish I could give her 10 stars <3 Ty pat.

Amazing customer service setting up our storage locker with Kelly. She made it quick and easy, helped us sign up for exactly what we needed. We receive deliveries right to our unit, and she ensured the first delivery made today went smoothly.

The ice build up in front and around our units is so dangerous. I couldn't get access to my items because it was so dangerous. The units are overpriced for being outside units. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends.

My experience with U–STORE–IT Edmonton West has been excellent from day one. Customer service is top-notch, the premises are neat and organized, and the storage space is clean and safe. I would definitely use them again …

Friendly, very informative and very helpful. Went above and beyond. I had a jealous ex threatening to enter my locker and they added an extra lock for security and said they’d keep an eye on it. Bad breakup don’t ask lol.

Great experience here. Rented a space for about 6 months for work gear. Lockers were clean and well maintained. Customer service was also very good, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend this place for monthly storage.

Definitely needs some upgrades fences are ready to fall down for security. Got locked out with no code had to climb over the fence as a waited and honked on my horn for awhile.
