Got a remote starter installed for my car. Less than a month later, my battery died which has never happened (vehicle has less than 30k km on it). The starter was deprogrammed and I had to take it back in to be reprogrammed. Had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. The car battery was fine while I couldn't use the starter, no boost needed. Dropped off my car at 7 am with the expectation that I would receive an update when it's ready for pick-up, like they did on install day. Nobody ended up calling so I called them. Twice. The first time, they asked if they could call me back in 15 minutes. I waited 45 minutes and decided to call again. I waited on hold for another 10 minutes before just deciding to hang up. I decided to just show up around 7 pm and eventually got someone to give me my keys back. I was able to use the remote starter for a couple of days before my car started dying again, and shortly after the starter battery died too. I now have to take my car in for the third time and they have no flexibility for booking an appointment less than another week away. Very frustrating. I had zero issues with the car battery until I had the starter installed. I have had the starter for less than 3 months and haven't been able to use it for 75% of the time I've had it. Super disappointing. With I could get that $600 back.

I only wish I could give more stars to PAT. He helped me out bringing in a amp I wanted. He is good to his word plus more. Were losing people or pros like Pat. I would say to everyone out there that needs a TV car stereo home setup this is the man. I love people like him and just because of his manner and true to his word I now having him get me pricing on a 85 or bigger Samsung TV. That how service to customers work. I tell all my friends and colleagues'. I just thought I should tell the rest of you want to be treated right with respect & also not gouging a older guy who may not be aware of pricing for car amps. We losing pros like this dude which I will also point out to Vision I hope your treating him well & making sure he making enough to pay his bills. It so sad what happened to Canada all because of the leader in power. I recall his father doing just the same devaluing our dollar and raising interest so most loss there homes. So the lesson is deal with trust worthy people and same goes to what party running your country. Most of us all suffer because of having the wrong person in power. We need more Pats in our country. Thanks Pat I so appreciated what you did for a person with many health issues!! The location is West Edmonton location 170st just off 100 ave.

First let me tell you I love Visions. I have shopped at Visions for decades now. This particular store on the westend did not hold up to other Visions I've been to in the past. Sales people were like vultures, then disappeared when you actually needed assistance. They weren't very knowledgeable and I had to pull up the flyer online to show them what I was looking for. Even once I showed them the advertised item, the price was wrong and we had to go through a whole ordeal to sort that out. I felt more like I was treated like a thief instead of a customer. The store was cluttered and products were misplaced everywhere. I realize space is an issue when you sell as many products as they do, but instead of waiting for the next customer to pounce on, the sales staff could do a better job at keeping things sorted and in their proper place so customers don't have to hunt for items that the computer says are in the store but they "can't find them". The next time I go to a visions store I'll go out of my way and go to the one in Clareview. Cleaner store, more organized, and sales associates actually know and understand their product.

I needed a new laptop. I shopped around online first and then went to Visions Electronics. The main reason was that every time I shopped at Visions, I always left the store happy – with the service (no high pressure selling) and the prices. The other reason, this time, was the 0% interest financing they have available (there is a small administration fee for this). True to form, their “selling” was more education than selling, which I appreciated. They had as much time for my questions as I needed to help me zero in on the right laptop for my needs - and at a reasonable price. That would have been enough, but there was more. The day after I bought the laptop (at a considerable saving), I stumbled upon the exact same item elsewhere for even less. Visions has a price-matching plus guarantee. I thought, What the heck, I’ll probably get a lot of resistance to this and might be denied the price match for whatever reason, but it’s worth a try. Instead, they were actually genuinely happy to help me save even more money!! I felt like I won the lotto! And yes, I left the store (more than) happy - again!

we’ve bought so many things from this location, but this was the first time we’ve ever encountered this kind of customer service. when we got inside the store, no one greated us and no one even offered to help us. we were looking to buy a new monitor, but no one bothered to ask if we needed help. one associate came and advised us not to buy the unit yet because he wanted us to wait and “save up” until it goes on sale during black friday, which is november. he was asking us to wait for 8 months before buying the unit, making the assumption that we can’t afford to buy it in whatever it was priced today. he tried to convince us that there were better options, when we knew what we were buying in the first place. he didn’t even know what he was selling to us. he didn’t know what he was talking about and we were the ones to tell him what the product has and its features. they were busy helping good-nicely-dressed-people but not us. we ended up buying it anyways but would not return to this store again. they tend to judge people only by their looks.

Its been a lot of years since I had an excuse to shop here so when I was looking for a wiring harness for my truck stereo, I wasn't sure what to expect. After talking to a couple of people, I was helped by a staff member knowledgeable with car stereos and quickly discoveredy truck may need a lot more than a basic wiring harness to use an aftermarket stereo. The staff member was up front about what an expensive endeavor this would be. Showed me the different products available, but shared my sentiment that this project was a bit silly if I was spending significantly more on a wiring harness than the head unit I was connecting. I felt no pressure, and found the staff extremely helpful and honest. The staff member even supplied me with some of the model numbers for the products I'm looking for in case someone else has them cheaper. It really was shockingly top-notch service. Thanks guys. I'll definitely return.

I wanted to share with everyone how incredible the Visions folks are based on my recent experiences. I had an issue with a TV that needed to be replaced, and not only did the sales manager Pat go to bat for me at the TV manufacturer to expedite the replacement process, but he was able to replace my TV with an even better model than what I purchased originally at no extra cost to me! In addition to that, the installer team Sean and Neil came by to my home twice to make sure my installation was as good as possible since the new model TV mounted to a different height on my wall. After the first install the height wasn't quite right, so at my request Sean and Neil came by again out of courtesy to make my install as perfect as can be! I can't recommend Visions on 170th Street highly enough, just the best people to deal with! My thanks again to everyone who helped me out!

Worst experience at a Visions I have ever had if I could give a 0-star rating I would. We delt with an older man and we ended up just walking out. We were looking for pricing for a TV and asked if they would be able to match the price we received from Best Buy and got a snippy response of why we just didn't buy the TV from them. Both my husband and I have worked commission sales for years and would prefer to let someone make some money off of us. Everything we asked this guy he was demeaning and talked down to us and we ended up just leaving and buying somewhere else. He is the PERFECT example as to why commission salespeople have such a bad rep. If you have to go to this location, I'd recommend walking past him to deal with someone else unless you would like to know what NOT to do while dealing with customer's then 100% speak to him.

If I Could I, will post my review, at last -10 stars. Avoid at all cost this store, Please !!! I bought Tv Samsung 75" QLED , Not my choice at all. Sales man trick me , saying that is no different on model QLED and NEO QLD, which NEO was My original choice. With in 30 days I returned Qled faulty screen missing parts. I ask for NEO QLD . Pay extra money from my pocket +- 800 $. Guy never change paper when I upgraded TV , also paying way more of my 1st transition, he never sent any info to lander . So the 2nd transaction day was only visible at the Vision store. Lander have no clue that I change TV. They charge my account extra 1000$+ on missing payment 20 days late because some lazy guy didn't do his job correctly . Lender never new that I replace TV. Avoid this place at all cost, bunch of scams bags are working up there.

Pat is amazing! He made my day when he gave me a superb deal for a Yamaha tower speakers. When I saw on their website that there is a open box Yamaha tower speakers i called up their store and it was Pat that I talked to. At first he said that the open box item is not available anymore so he offered a brand new pair at a cost of 50 dollars more. I agreed at once and said I'll pick up the speakers today. Then the amazing thing happened. When I am at the counter to pay for the speakers Pat said that this is my lucky day coz instead of the agreed price , he's selling it to me at the price of the open box as advertised from their website. I can't believe it thank you Pat , you are truly amazing . If you're looking for any electronic products go to Visions at 170th st. West Edmonton and the best person to talk to is Pat.

Ridiculously good customer service. I was blown away. Had a Hisense TV that was supposed to be under a two year warranty with Japan Video. The mother board on the TV went, so we went to visions to get it replaced under warranty. Turns out, Japan video are greaseballs and only honor the warranty if you stay subscribed to an email blast from them. We were totally unaware of this and no where were we warn that unsubscribing from an email blast would void a warranty. So Japan Video refused to honor the warranty. Thankfully, the gem of a manager, Jeremy, went above and beyond. Not only did he fight the good fight against Japan video for us, but when they still refused, he replaced the TV out of his own stock. Absolute legend. Any future electronic purchase I am going to make are going to be done here for sure.

By far the worst Visions location and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Bought a Uniden R8 from them a few months ago and could hardly give them my money. On my most recent visit looking for a monitor, I walked in circles for 10 minutes without anyone approaching me. I went and asked someone for help, of course "it's not my department". Waited for another individual who spent some time looking for what I wanted (provided specs I required) and they could only find me things that were totally the opposite of what I needed. To finish the story, I went to best buy and was in and out within 5 minutes. Will not be back.

I was greeted as soon as I walked into the store and had to wait a few minutes as their showroom was not accessible due to COVID-19. I was greeted a few moments later by the manager who helped me with my purchase. He was very polite, personable and went out of his way to assist me. I was also assisted by a supervisor who was also very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He even took my purchase out to my car for me. Visions provided me with exceptional customer service and I would highly recommend them as a first stop for any electronics purchases. In addition, they have very competitive and reasonable prices.

One of the best customer experiences I have had in a long time. It was busy when I went in but Jeremy the GM spent his time with me and listened and talked to me and made me feel like I was a true friend not just another customer. It’s rare these days to go and experience that. I know I will tell people to go see all the guys at the location because they all had funny and nice things to say. I’m so excited about my new AirPods and Jeremy was right they’re awesome and It changed my day having my favourite ozzy playlist in my ear at my fingertips! Visions is a great store for niche things. The employees are quite helpful. HOWEVER. Make SURE you double check pricing and such. I've noticed that some "sales" are quite literally just tactics, which is normal, but visions does it very well. Bumping a price up 30%, then slapping a 25% off sale on that item to get you in the door seems quite common. I respect the hustle, just make sure you know before hand so you don't think you're getting a smoking deal and then cry over an Amazon listing later. For real though, you can get good deals, sometimes the too good to be true ones are however.

Excellent service from this Visions today! The manager, Jamie, personally assisted me with getting my 89&79 year old parents car remotes fixed. He was very kind and patient with us, kept me informed of issues and potential extra costs. AND THEN (drum roll please!!!), he covered the additional unexpected work required, which was a HUGE blessing to my parents on their tight budget. I will definitely come back to this Visions for any electronics I need in the future! Great experience (we got to hang out in the massage chairs), thoughtful and thorough service, and genuine kindness!

I had been looking for a new receiver for most of the past year. Between supply line issues and microchip shortages it’s been difficult to find stock of higher end models at a decent price. When I talked to Jeremy he offered me a very fair price if I was able to wait for their next shipment. I inquired about other models they did have in stock which would have been an easy sale but Jeremy wasn’t pushy and answered all my questions. In the end I got exactly what I wanted and am very happy with my purchase. 100% worth the wait and I will be back for my future home theatre needs!

I never got worst service than I got from your store. I will definitely advise anyone I know to not purchase from you. Nobody offered a solution, was just sent away, i should say walked out by management instead of talk… I was treated very poorly and will do my best for people to understand that as I being in retail myself cannot understand this type of treatment… Very poor management and mostly unhelpful after I lost $1k+ in your store for unusable product that never worked. Buyer beware! Stay away from those scammers and go to majors, unfortunately…

Purchased a Pioneer DVD receiver for my truck here at a great sale price and installed it. Ran into an issue with the settings on the receiver where the subwoofer wasn’t working. Called the west side store and spoke with Jo in car audio. We worked through the issue together and he was extremely helpful. Even called me back after I hung up by accident. He went the extra mile and I was pleasantly surprised with the stellar customer service. 5/5 for Visions offering great prices and top notch service. Highly recommend.

I'm looking to upgrade to 4K from my old 1080 system I bought in 2010. It served me well but the reciever died and not worth repairing. So I started researching and then going into Visions to ask questions. Their staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and I didn't feel pressured to buy at that moment ie...we're having an amazing 1 day sale and I can give you these prices! None of that. Not sure if I'll buy at Black Friday or Boxing Day. I'm zeroing on the components I want. Now I just have to get the best price!

I’ve had fantastic customer service experiences in both my visits and will be returning here for sure. Stu in the car audio section really helped me out a ton and I’d recommend him to anyone inquiring about remote starters, radar detectors, dash cams, audio, etc. I also met the owner Jeremy (hope I caught the name right) and he also went above and beyond to help me with recommendations and honouring their price protection. I’ve left the store both times very happy with my service and my purchases.

Went in for a 50-55” TV in the $500 and under range. The sales manager Pat St. Amand was more than just helpful, he was suuuuper informative. Helped me find the biggest bang for my buck. Although I ended up spending more I’m glad I went with bigger size and better resolution as I’m a big movie watcher! He also helped me find a decent sound bar and sub for under $200. Even gave me a discount on the warranty. Overall a fantastic experience and would definitely go back to buy from the legend Pat.

Great place to get electronics and things but they still have that sleazy salesman style of selling things for you to buy. I bought all my car starters from there and I’ve had some good experience and a lot of bad experiences. Sometimes it’s the after effects but oh well. was frequenting the southside location. There was a fella there named Sean who is the service manner for car installs and once he left, it’s been difficult to get any work done properly and to live up to promises.

Went to visions to buy a subwoofer and get it installed, I was created by Tyler and he was very enthusiastic and super nice, he helped me pick one out and hooked it up to show me what it sounded like. I didn’t end up getting installed till a couple weeks later, but I came in and out of the store a few times and every-time I was given amazing customer service. The install was great, even better than expected. All together it was a great experience, thanks to Tyler.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of the nicest store manager's when coming to the westend Visions store. I was there to buy some speaker wire. The top end roll was $180 + tax. He offered a huge discount on the speaker wire which was appreciated. He then asked about my system and offered to get me a remote control at no charge. Bought a tv and sound bar here last year and was very happy with the service and the deal I got. Decided to buy again on black Friday and wasn't disappointed. Raj and Nick took good care of me and got me the best deal possible. Didn't get the name of the lady at the cashier but she was very helpful and friendly aswell. Excellent customer service. Needed a pair of ear buds that I saw on their website. I couldn't find the ones listed at the price indicated. The salesperson (Jaspal) went to his computer and noted there were 10 available. We went back to the shelf with the ear buds. It turns out there was a missing digit on the price tag and he resolved the matter resulting in me getting the item I went into the store for. Thank you.

I had several staff members helping me including management (they were super busy) They all went above and beyond in helping me find a new TV that was best suited for what I needed. They didn’t over sell me or try and sell me something I didn’t need. In the end I got an AMAZING tv for an AMAZING price. I’ll go back when I need appliances or other electronics

Bought our tv here and I have to say the staff knows their stuff. Gautam was very helpful and very knowledgeable. We didn't feel any pressure but at the same time we got all the I for we needed to help with our decision. Gautam assisted us in store and after the TV got delivered to us. Great customer service and highly recommend going to Visions and look for Gautam if you're planning to buy a tv.

We purchased a new 65” TV with a sound bar and wall mount and came to Visions from Best Buy after being disappointed there. Let me tell you, Jaybles is amazing. Not only is he brilliant, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable, he’s so funny! Pat was awesome too, really breaking down the value of the warranty while making sure we were fitting our budget. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

They're pretty good although didn't have the TV that I wanted that was on sale and advertised that I wanted in stock but that's not their problem it's sold fast, there was a couple of TVs but they went quickly because of the great deals, I bought something else Less in size but still up to date and good to go, brand new with warranty extended blah blah blah

I live on Vancouver island & was able to shop for a TV for an elderly family member residing in Edmonton. No only did James get the deal done, he had an amazing crew of two go install & setup the TV. For Car Audio, they only stock their own brand, Soundstage. Have to wait a month to order anything in. The blonde hair guy also has a serious attitude problem. Go to a more reputable place if you're serious about car audio

Be wary of Visions' warranty. Make sure you get any warranty in writing as Visions does not honor what their salesman tell you. Better yet, don't shop at Visions.
