The store is fine but avoid this pharmacy at all costs. As somebody with chronic illness, I have been sending prescriptions here on a regular basis for over a year and it is always a multi hour/day endeavor to pick up my medication almost every time because of their broken online system and the staff’s incompetence. I will receive an email that my script is ready but then when I go to pick it up, I magically need further authorization, that it’s too early to refill or some other BS even though I’ve had the same prescriptions for a decade. I then sit on the phone with my clinic or insurance and learn that they already HAVE authorized it days ago like already I know they did, and when I inform them they magically change their tune and say “We’re out of stock for your medicine it’ll be a few days”. WHY WAS I TOLD IT WAS READY FOR PICKUP IN THE FIRST PLACE? When I need my medication urgently they are completely unhelpful and just say something along the lines of “call your doctor”, even though it is clearly not the problem on the clinic’s end. I realize this all may be the fault of their system and that the staff works very hard, but this level of incompetence is really not cool when you’re dealing with life saving medications.

Employees are on phones and standing around having conversations while the store is disorganized and TAGS ARE CLEARLY NOT IN THE RIGHT SPOT. There was a clearance sticker clearly in front of the product I wanted. So I grabbed 1 of the products and went up to the register. Not only did Walgreens employees mess up by placing the wrong tag in front of the wrong product (which you guys are supposed to honor the price because YALL messed up), The employee told me to go get the tag and bring it to the front. I did. Then I lost my place in line. The manager paid me no attention and when I handed her the tag she was quick to say “NO THIS ISNT THE RIGHT TAG” and I said “you have so many gums behind that tag”. Definitely will not be returning to this Walgreens as the staff is clearly unprofessional and has no customer service skills. How can your employees have the time to talk and stand on their phones BUT can’t do things right or make the place look neat Management needs to step it up!

I'll start by giving kudos to Joseph. He knows proper etiquette in handling a customer when an issue arose. He was professional and showed empathy. He is the reason for the 3 stars. With that being said, the female individual I initially dealt with this evening, should not be a in a customer facing position, period. Sadly, I did not catch her name, but she was working 12/31/2021 at 730p. Shelf-stocker or counting inventory would be better suited for her utter lack of customer service. She has 0 problem solving skills and was completely reluctant to call for a supervisor or manager when asked. Her demeanor was as if she didn't want to be bother which was expressed through her tone and body language. She has yet to learn the art of, "It's not what you say, but how you say it". The other gentleman at the other register and the manager were more help than she was.

Want to give zero stars. Worst Walgreens I’ve ever been to and unfortunately it’s next my house so it’s the one I have to frequent most. The staff is horrible, always ignoring the customer and rude if they do address the customer. Completely unhelpful in any regard. Ignore the store hours as well because if they feel like closing early they will, I have gone by even 2 hours before the listed close time and they have the lights off. I have gone in for a quick stop and they told me they’re closing with 45 minutes to spare, would not sell me anything. This is a dirty and poorly stocked Walgreens despite the employees having all the free time to be on their phones. This store damages the image of Walgreens and the neighborhood it sits in.

The quality of the staff, service, cleanliness, and stock of this location has dropped tremendously over the last 12 months. They never have shopping carts, are out of stock or too lazy to refill the shelves and last week the employee was so large she could t stand to restock the shelves and had to sit in the middle of the isle. She was also on her phone the whole time. The new staff are too young, unprofessional, listening to music either out loud or in ear phones. The lines are long. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 12 years and this is by far the worst I’ve seen it. I’d rather go to the broken down Kroger down the street, at least I know what I’m getting and risking when I walk in there. Trash.

If I could give the pharmacy staff a “G,” I would. They don’t deserve an “F.” The neighborhood location here is a train wreck. The whole operation needs to be shut down and reopened by some people who take pride in being excellent at even one thing a day. Hard working, people who actually comprehend professionalism as a concept. Pharmacy staff that understand that clowns belong in a circus, not behind the counter at the pharmacy. This is a business establishment, not a Cracker Jack box. Just, do better. The whole thing. Or better yet, go out of business and become another hair care store or another Dollar General. You’re the worst pharmacy in America. Congratulations.

This honestly may be one of the best Walgreens Pharmacy I've ever been to. They are without a doubt the fastest Walgreens Pharmacy I've ever used - they worked with me to get prescriptions transferred in, they worked with me on the insurance, and they were friendly and helpful to me when I was brand new to the state and already dealing with enough stresses. It's unfortunate how often pharmacies can be frustrating, rude, unhelpful, etc - so it is absolutely a breath of fresh air to encounter a pharmacy like this one that's exceeded my expectations on so many levels. To the staff there - thanks so much for all your help and quick turn-around.

First employee I encountered I had to approach to ask if they carried what I could not find in the aisles. She another employee if they carried the item. It was not alcohol or tobacco, but it was behind the front counter, and the front counter/checkout employee made no effort to compare/contrast the equally priced products that were not accessible to me. Apparently, I was supposed to point and spend $50 dollars without seeing what I was getting. I found that hugely unhelpful. Unfruitful visit unless you count my justified decision to never return.

I came here Saturday morning around 10 January 9th and one of the male pharmacist here is EXTREMELY RUDE when you ask a question, he just snapped out at you as if he needs some type of fix, a hug or something. The young lady there which whom appeared to be quite new was VERY SWEET, I almost hate that she has to work there with him, if I ever go back to that one, I'll MAKE SURE it's later in the day when I think he's gone. Front cashier was VERY POLITE when entering and leaving as well.

  • Robb M.

Might have been the single best pharmacy visit of my entire life. I know it sounds crazy, but it's the truth. The most polite, friendly and helpful people I've dealt with all month. I actually laughed at myself when I got in the car because I expect so little service from people anymore. They surprised me THAT much. Kyle and his team were top notch. I'm glad to be a customer.

I prefer this Walgreens better over the one in Arcade Downtown. More products, shorter lines (vs Downtown lines with State Employees always long) and stays open until 10pm. Cannot vouch the Pharmacy since I rarely use this service but I would imagine the drive thru are bound to be longer wait times closes at 7pm btw.

  • William Kyle Bolton

I typically have Good service at this location. Today however, I was told that my prescription would be ready before end of day, but when I showed up I was told that it wouldn't be filled today and the pharmacist had simply forgotten to inform me. Need to do a better job communicating and providing customer service.

I live two blocks away, and this store, unfortunately, has fallen off a cliff. Poorly trained and rude employees left closing on their own. No passport photo services (despite showing on the website that they do offer that service). Pharmacy is still great but the rest of the store is a disaster.

  • Breyton Goode

Dave working at the pharmacy gives the fastest service and has the best attitude. This location in general has the best service of any Walgreens I’ve been to in Nashville, actually. I’ve never waited more than 15min to get a prescription filled day-of. Fantastic

  • shawn pride

This is a very well ran store the staff is very helpful they're all young but they still seem to care about their job and the customers at Walgreens I'm always really surprised anytime I need any help from them how they take pride in what they do thanks guys

  • Jason Pazirandeh

Walgreens website and signage in the store says they give free flu shots. Made me wait 30 minutes at the counter, only to then tell me flu shots cost $35. Woman next to me had to wait 45 minutes to get her flu shot. Poorly run and incompetent staff

  • Emily Welling

The absolute most helpful, efficient, and friendly pharmacy I have ever been to in my entire life! The whole staff is on that chick-fil-a level customer service. I hope that I get sick again just to go back and see everyone. 10/10 AMAZING SERVICE

  • Latasha Brown

This location is notrious for being out of stock on the most basic of items. It seems they never recovered from the tornado two years ago. Also, the website is not up to date and lists items as being in stock which are not.

  • Gorden Belcher

Some of the rudest most hostile employees in town. The tall young guy will knock you down if you are walking in front of him. Prices are so high, just go to the Kroger up the street, they have the same items much cheaper.

  • Charlie

I just had another excellent experience at the pharmacy this morning. Such a great asset to our neighborhood. Kyle and his colleagues are a delight to work with, as are the front staff. Keep up the good work!

  • Andrea Felix

horrible. Unprofessional. The pharmacists are incompetent. Waited an hour for a prescription that they couldn’t even fill. Never a problem at any other pharmacy, but im stuck with this one since I moved.

  • Abraham Salazar

They close at 10 and went in at 945 and the girl that was working saw me walking to the door and locked it. All i wanted was some water since im from out of town.

  • Brian Young

Great place for items I need instead of going all over town and close to home since I can't drive because I got my taken away because of health matters.

  • Kinara Byrd

I came into store traveling from out of town and the cashier guy Darrell helped me find it. He was very patient and made my experience exceptional.

  • Will Deisley

Have never had so much trouble picking up a prescription. Never ready when they say it is and they’ve had 8 hours each time to fill it.

  • Colin B

Everyone that works here is super friendly, the place is always clean and nice. Very great Rite-Aid especially for this part of town.

  • Reginald Lyons

Great price to get prescription filled. Quick, accurate, friendly and low price. Never had any problems. Live my rite aid family..

  • muna ahmed

  • THEBLACKBETTY 1

PERSONALLY, (THUS FAR), I have NEVER had 'ANY' PROBLEMS at THIS STORE, (THANK GOD)! …

  • Chad

Very low tier Walgreens. If you’ve got the time it’s always better to go to one further out of town.

  • King B Merch

Whoever the Lumell looking bald woman is, has a terrible attitude. Ghetto and not friendly.

Good clean store with a very friendly staff and close to the state capital
