Unfriendly Phamacist Tech Went there for 2nd shot and arrived 5 minutes before my 3:05 appointment and was standing at the same consultation window that the line was at last time for Covid shots. After 5 minutes of standing there, the pharmacist tech told me I was in the wrong line, and I had to use the checkout line which now had one person in it getting some meds. I then waited 20 minutes for my shot. There were a few people there before me, but a lady who got there after I did who stated to the tech that her appointment was at 3:15 had her shot 5 minutes before mine... Why have people book an appointment time if you are not going to follow the order? After this experience, I will now go to the CVS down the road moving forward. Walgreens is closer, but the pharmacy service at CVS at least treats you like a human being
Very rude & disrespectful staff. The restrooms have a sign on them saying closed for repairs yet the staff go in there to use the bathroom. The manger won’t be honest about the fact they really have the bathrooms closed to customers because they don’t want the customers or outside public to use them… very dishonest staff & disrespectful service I received. Even if I was going to buy something to use the bathroom I wouldn’t have regardless of the bathrooms being open or now now… go somewhere else for better service experience y’all
This review is for the pharmacy. They used to be really good. Rarely a long wait, friendly service, medications in stock. Something changed. They now close at 5pm so you have to figure out how to get there in time. Today I showed up at 4:50 and there was a sign saying they were closing at 4:30. Medications that I use are rarely in stock and it can take a few days to get them. Wait times can be as long as 40 minutes in the drive through. I'm guessing corporate cut backs? Whatever the case, I'm moving to a different pharmacy.
This review is for the pharmacy. The pharmacist was extremely helpful the first time I went in for assistance. I felt comfortable speaking with him. I went again today and Alexia really helped me out with calling different locations so I can have my script refilled. I had to return to work but the pharmacist still called me after I left to tell me which location had my prescription in stock. I truly appreciated it. Having true help seems rare nowadays. So thank y’all so much!
This one of the few places in Austin you can dispose your expired medications. This is why I make a special trip to come here. The box is located in the back of the store, by the pharmacy. Store has the same specials as other locations, and the store has the same general layout. I've found employees to be friendly when I am in the store. It is at a very busy intersection, so it's best to approach it from the north or west.
I went today to try and get a passport photo for my daughter and the 50 year old looking lady at the photo area gave me every excuse in the book on why she couldn’t help me from she's too young, to due to Covid excuse and an upcoming variant, yet I went to a different Walgreens and the lady there went above and beyond to make sure we got my daughters passport photo, definitely will not revisit this Walgreens again.
While this store says they reserve the limit on the items you get, we asked the manager Alexis what their limit was. We both could clearly tell she was thinking of a MAGIC NUMBER and said "1." She said that was policy and we asked to see it in writing, in which we were denied this! Maybe this store needs to put signs up to warn people of "their policy" and this policy just depends on the manager on duty.
This is for the Pharmacy. Medications are a lot more here than other pharmacies (like H‑E‑B). More than once I have been told my prescription is ready only to find out otherwise when I get there. They have also been closed when they were supposed to be open. Altogether, this has led to several wasted trips and extra expenditures. Frustrating!
I used to find the pharmacy staff here to be better than most. .... but no more: Well I edited my review from 4 stars down to 2 on 12/10/19. This location has definitely gone down hill pharmacy wise since they started closing for lunch. It’s like they get so backed up they can’t catch up. So much for paying a little more for better service.
Technician is incredibly rude, gives you incorrect information concerning medication times/dosages (read the med inserts, don't trust the techs AT ALL), and lacks patience for questions about medication concerns or insurance. Pharmacist can't be bothered to check the info either as his 'consult' was literally just scanning his card.
I wouldn't normally leave a review for somewhere like Walgreens but I'm fed up with being made to feel like an unwelcome annoyance every time I come it to get medicine for my kids or do a FedEx return. Compared to the equivalent at HEB or UPS everything takes longer, costs more and comes with a load of attitude
Worst managed store I’ve been to. In charge managed hangs up when I need answers. Filed a complaint with corporate about their pharmacy and management. Randomly pharmacy closes without coverage so we can get much needed meds already for pick up. They really didn’t care about my needs.
In this Walgreens is more expensive then other. I just buy one medicine. Same medicine I get cheaper in online and other store. I realize before also happen here is always high price then other. Not only some $ it like more then 100%. Shall I return it.
The pharmacy tech person who is always posted at the in-store register is just the rudest person every time I interact with her. The pharmacy is always out of my medication, too. Terrible company, terrible store location.
I would give zero if possible. Absolutely terrible customer service, zero help, and it’s obvious staff training is zilch. I cannot understand how or why picking up my medication should be this difficult.
No idea what their hours are. Store was open today, Saturday, January 27th but the pharmacy was closed. On this site they say they are open till 10 but at 7pm they are closed
1 star only cause it won't let me leave 0 stars.the older lady about 50 or 60 is always rude.she shouldn't be working in retail at all. She needs another job
I'm sick of them taking my rewards away today the the last time I'm going to CVS I spend about twenty thousand dollars a year in meds no more
Simple and fast shopping with no big crowds. Not one of those gigantic places that you can easily get lost in and prices are fair.
Just your typical Walgreens. Supports NFC Payments, and always the best Gatorade/Powerade deals!
Great store for my new prescription and refill. Very polite and patient employees! :)
Count your pills, if you go to this pharmacy. Always an issue with this one.
Love the folks that work here. Girl, you can come party with me anytime! :)
Never try to transfer a prescription here. It's not worth the frustration.
It's th Best place in Burnet durnit. Very nice people who work there
This is for the pharmacist. Horrible customer service !
Two thumbs up for Walgreens. …
They open at 10a, not 8a.
