I use Walgreens because they sale good products but I often have problems at the pharmacy. I had to be out of my medicine because the pharmacy tech said , " it was too early" and I told her it was not. She did not try to run my meds through my insurance to see she just be went by her own judgement, when I returned the next day because I desperately needed my meds and knowing I was out I told her again that my meds were past due she added another day to when I could pick them up all without trying to run them through my insurance. She never took my word or even considered that I was right, I believe because one was a controlled substance that I was trying to get that earlier than I was supposed to. I returned yet for the third day to tell her to call my doctor because I had told my doctor what was going on and my doctor agreed that Walgreens often does this to her patients. I told the same tech on the third day what my doctor had said and she finally listened to me and run my meds through my insurance and they went through when she ran it. I told her my meds are 28 days script not 30 and she assumed that because all my other meds were 30 day scripts but she never listened to me and made me feel like I was a drug addict or something. She made me suffer and go without my medicine 3 days which made me very sick. I am currently looking for another pharmacy that close to my home because of this experience. I told the other pharmacy staff that it took me three trips to get my medicine that was due 4:days ago and that the tech never would try to run my insurance or even take my word that she may be wrong and none of them said a damn word.
Dropped off a prescription at 4:30pm and was informed that it should be ready by 6:30pm. I signed up for alerts for my phone about the prescription status. I've been here a few times and usually that number is off by about an hour, so I came in at 8:00pm to give a little buffer room. I was concerned that I hadn't received a text informing me my prescription was ready. There was a 15 min wait from the line, and when I got up there I was informed there was a problem with my insurance. I handed my insurance card over and it got resolved, but the prescription wouldn't be ready until right about closing time. I opted to come back tomorrow because every seat was filled and there were more people in line, but it still sucks that I have no medicine to take tonight. I don't blame the workers and techs for the issue. They were clearly understaffed and had too much to do. This whole issue should have been avoided by having proper staffing and procedures. Had someone called me within that 4 hours to let me know my insurance was not working, I would have resolved the issue much earlier and have my medicine tonight. Not having medicine tonight isn't going to kill me, but I imagine if someone else were in my shoes that did require life changing prescriptions, things could be a lot different. This Walgreens and the one north on the same road are the only ones I've had this problem with. Hopefully things will change in the future.
We came to Nashville on a vacation. Couldn't get the prescription filled before we left our hometown in Wisconsin because it couldn't get filled before the 1st for insurance and other things. Took the prescription in to the drop off counter and the clerk looked over it like she's never seen a prescription before. She took it to the pharmacist and he basically said he won't fill it because we are from out of town. I explained the situation to the clerk, we're on vacation, can't get it filled beforehand and she said sorry take it to Walmart. I explained we were regular Walgreens customers and she can see it gets filled every month, it's not a fake prescription. She stated she has access to the history but there is no point in looking into it because they won't fill it. We took it down the road and were treated like customers, not criminals. I understand the drug regulations but that was ridiculous. Never had a problem with any other Walgreens. Glad we don't have to use this location and I refused to make any other purchase there during my stay next door at the Sleep Inn.
I came to this location to drop off a FedEx envelope and no one was working in the photo area . I waited 10 minutes before walking to the front to ask if anyone was working. The female talking to the cashier said " I'm coming " I continued to wait 5 more minutes before she walked back to me. I waited almost 20 minutes for her to tell me the scanner doesn't work . This was on Friday during my lunch break , thank you for wasting my time and providing another reason to never come back .Lazy and unprofessional, this location needs to closed permanently !
I shop here often because it's convenient and gives the best customer service of all the businesses in the area. The store is always clean and organized. Parking lot well lit. Employees are helpful and friendly & there's rarely a line to check out. I hate grocery shopping in large grocery stores with screaming children, broken carts, misplaced items, and teens in motorized shopping carts running me over. I'm totally OK with paying more for toiletries, make-up, and even some groceries just because it's peaceful.
Always rude at the pharmacy. Went to get my meds that has supposedly been ready since yesterday when they tell me they had to substitute it. Then tell me my insurance wont pay for it. Then they tell me they aren't going to give me ANY of my prescriptions and i need to go somewhere else. I tell them to send it to the gallatin pike location and they refused. One of my meds was my rescue inhaler. And i needed it then! I ended up having an asthma attack and going to the emergency room! My next call is my attorney.
I called to check on a prescription and was greeted verbally by someone who sounded like they hated their job. My whole attitude went from 100 to 0 real quick and I decided I would reciprocate her actions so she could get a feel of her customer service skills. I even ended the conversation with, "I hope you have a nice day!"... Although, she almost rubbed her unhappy attitude on me. Not today Satan!
5 days out to schedule a covid test. Which is understandable with the infection rates. When I get there I find out they’re unable to perform the test…. I guess they couldn’t even let me know before I drove all the way out there or schedule me at another location. The young lady did inform me there were other testing places I could go to however. What a joke I’ll never shop at another Walgreens again
If you go for a Covid test, don’t do the 1:15 slot. Got there 5 mins before as per their request, didn’t get out of my car or go into the store as per their request, waited in the drive thru 12 or so mins to be told they were going on lunch so I should come back in 30-45 mins. Why even make that an available appointment time?
I just had a baby and I got my prescription for my pain meds from them and they didn’t even give me all my pills. I count anything I get from them everytime I get a prescription from them because I know someone who had this same problem. I’m extremely upset because they don’t even open up tomorrow due to it being a holiday.
This store has the rudest employee at the front counter I have run across. Apparently Walgreens either doesn't care or don't know the meaning of treating a customer like someone who is keeping them in business. I've been a customer at Walgreens for many years, but I'm a CVS customer from now on.
Absolutely the worst pharmacy in the area. Slower than molasses in January. They have Absolutely no consideration for anyone's time. If you need a prescription filled in a reasonable amount of time, find another pharmacy. Right up the road is 100 times better.
I was at the drive thru to pick up a shampoo prescription for my son the the first thing she said is what you need no hi no how can i help you just rude but the people inside the cashiers are the sweetest but the pharmacy is horrible
Muy mal servicio en la farmacia.esperanto 1 y 30 minutos y no te dicen nada si esta disponible mi medisina supuestamen desfe ayer tenia que recogerlo .y todavia no esta listo.....£€****¿¿¿¿¿¿¿
The pharmacy is rude, very unprofessional. I don’t know what’s with pharmacists at Walgreens, they are not doctors they didn’t go to medical school so don’t act like it.
It is always clean and bright. The pharmacy is most of the time a long wait and they close the drive-thru so you don't have a choice but to come inside.
Jasmine in pharmacy wouldn’t let me speak to explain my refill order. She said let her finish when i tried. Very rude. Ver unprofessional.
Horrible Customer Service Always A Long Wait Like They’re Always Under Staffed… No Matter What Time You Go It’s Always A Long Wait !
It was busy not many employees stood in line a bit, the Walgreens on Murfreesboro Rd older lady that runs the register rude!!!
I have been waiting almost 24 hours for my prescription and still they aren't ready
The pharmacist and the employees were great to work with today
They have horrible costumer service, very unprofessional.
I thought they close at 10 the doors was locked before 10
